About: Hello! My name is Monica and I’m 26 years old. I have lived with both cats and dogs my whole life. I work at an Animal Hospital and my passion is to care for animals. My dog (Akita) passed away a few years ago, he lived 14 long and incredible years and survived two cancers. I recently lost my cat of 16 years as well, she unfortunately had kidney failure and thyroid disease. I miss them every day. I currently have two rescued cats that mean the world to me. I would love to get the chance to meet and care for your pets. I believe this would help me feel fulfilled and bring some light back into my life. I have connections to vets and would make sure your baby is always safe. I have a heart filled with love ready to give to your little or big four legged family member. I work part time and have a love for animals. Working at the vet allows me to provide a healthy lifestyle for your pet. I am not ready to adopt my own dog just yet as I’m still grieving so being able to take care of your fur babies brings light back into my life! I live in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced yard with a few nearby parks. I have two very lovable cats, but I have a two story house and can easily separate the pets. About: I’ve had big dogs and cats my whole life, I’ve been around all kinds of animals. I’m wanting to get out and active with furry friends and make sure they are taken care of🩵 I’m currently working minimal days so I have plenty of time to take your pets on walks or check on them. About: I had my first dog at just 6 years old and my love for animals had been growing ever since😊I currently have a dog of my own who is 5 years old! I’ve had her since she was a puppy (day she was born lol!) due to an accidental litter from my dog(who unfortunately passed away and is her mother) and my moms dog! So I am very good with puppy training as well😊I am good with administering medicine as needed for your fur baby if that is something you need! I work 3 night time 12 hour shifts Friday-Sunday so I am free during the week! I am in nursing school as well but as of now my classes are online! I can keep your fur baby company and play with them. I’m very good with animals of all kinds and making them comfortable around me! I offer companionship and treats lol! I love long walks for dogs so they will get plenty of potty breaks and lots of outside time!

About: I have loved animals my whole life and have experience caring for pets of different kinds. Back in Ukraine, I have a cat named Kuzya who is still very dear to me and whom I miss every day. I was responsible for his daily care, feeding, cleaning the litter box, and making sure he felt safe and comfortable. Growing up, I also had a dog (a Jagdterrier), a parrot, and a hamster, so I understand the needs of both energetic and small pets. I am comfortable with walking dogs, playing with them, feeding, giving fresh water, and providing calm companionship for cats. Although I don’t currently have pets in the U.S., I truly miss being around animals. That’s one of the main reasons I joined Rover — I would love to spend time caring for pets and giving them attention, love, and reliable care while their owners are away. I am responsible, organized, patient, and I will always treat your pet as if they were my own. Due to my college schedule, I am available on Mondays and Wednesdays around midday. On Saturdays, I may have availability depending on the time. I am not available on Sundays. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I may have availability with advance notice. I am flexible when scheduled ahead of time and always do my best to accommodate your pet’s need. Please feel free to message me to confirm availability. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and make sure pets feel safe and comfortable. I securely attach leashes during walks, double-check doors, and never leave pets unattended. I respect your home and treat your pet with patience, care, and attention.

About: I have years of experience caring for animals of all species and breeds. Most recently, I spent the summer interning at an animal sanctuary, where I tended to the over 300 animals that required care. Many of those animals were sick or injured, so I have a particular capability and fondness for caring for senior animals or pets with special needs. I also have dog-walking experience, including dogs with vision-impairment and chronic illnesses. I have grown up with pets my entire life, so I have lots of experience caring for dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, and fish. I love long walks, and am more than happy to accommodate your furry friend's desired activity level. I am incredibly punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic; you can count on me to go above and beyond to provide the safety, comfort, mental and physical stimulation, and love that your pet deserves. Generally, my weekly availability is: From 6:00 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Before 8 a.m. and after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday-Friday. Depending on what you ask me to do, I'm happy to take your pet on walks of your preferred length/level of intensity, drop by to provide food, water, games, cuddles, and company, and administer medication. I'm really happy to do whatever tasks are needed of me, just let me know!

About: I have been taking care of pets ever since I was 4! Little chores when I was that age, but now when a friend or family member needs some pet assistance, I always help when I can! I graduated in May with my Associates in Science Degree. I currently volunteer at the Cosley Zoo, and I am working towards getting into a Zoology program, so in the spare time I have coming up this will give me a chance to spend time with loving animals! I have a cat that I rescued when he was 2 weeks old from my garage after his mother was hit by a car. I feed and clean his bathroom whenever it is needed. We also have a Husky who is full of energy and I try to take him on walks as much as I can.

About: I’ve often been told I’m a bit of a “dog whisperer” because pups seem to gravitate toward me, and I think it’s because they can sense my genuine love for animals. I’ve been a dog lover since childhood, growing up with 4 family dogs, and that passion has only grown over the years. I recently cared for my own senior pomeranian, who lived to 18, so I understand the patience, gentleness, and extra attention that senior pups need. On the other end of the spectrum, I know the energy and consistency it takes to care for playful puppies. Right now, I share my home with two spoiled rescue dogs, Chico (chihuahua) and Squeaks (tripod Pomeranian) who remind me daily how much joy and comfort pets bring into our lives and family. I have taught my dogs how to sit, stay, down, shake, come, and spin. So maybe I can even teach your dog some new tricks :) I also know how stressful it can be to leave your furry family member at home. My goal is to be their bright spot while you’re away, whether that’s a walk, a potty break, or simply some kisses, belly rubs, and companionship. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own! I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule to fit in drop-ins, potty breaks, quick walks (10-15) min, kisses and belly rubs during the day while you are away! Right now I only offer drop-ins, potty breaks, and quick walks for your furry babies. I do not offer any home services at my personal residence. If any service is requested outside of the normal services offered, I would be happy to help and discuss prior to my drop-in visit.

About: I volunteered at an animal shelter throughout high school and had two dogs of my own. My first dog, Daisy, was a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. I then fostered and adopted Howie, a Chiweenie, in 2020. Both have since crossed over the Rainbow Bridge, and I miss them every day. I have regularly dog sat for neighbors, friends, and even professors in college. I love all animals of all shapes and sizes and would love to take care of your furry friend! I am in the Chicago area before I move to Iowa at the end of the summer. I don’t have any other commitments and could spend all my time caring for your dogs and/or cats! I am available for a range of services from dog-walking to staying overnight! Whether you just need someone to come check in on your pet a few times a day or need someone to play with them all day long, I’m your girl.
