About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give every pet as if they were my own. My love for animals comes from raising my own dogs, especially my sweet girl, Roxi, whom I was fortunate to have from the time she was a puppy until she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in February 2026 at 15 years old. Caring for her through every stage of life gave me firsthand experience with senior dog care, medication schedules, mobility assistance, and the extra patience, compassion, and love that aging pets deserve. I'm comfortable maintaining feeding routines, administering oral medications, providing potty breaks, and recognizing when a dog's behavior or health seems out of the ordinary. I understand that every dog has a different personality, energy level, and comfort needs, and I adapt my care to make them feel safe, relaxed, and loved. For puppies, I'm happy to reinforce the training and routines you're already working on, including crate training, potty schedules, basic commands, and positive reinforcement. I know consistency is important, and I'll follow your instructions to help keep your puppy on track. You'll also receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, comfortable, and in caring hands. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. Pet care fits well into my schedule because I work a hybrid full-time position, which allows me flexibility throughout the week. I carefully manage my calendar and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to, ensuring every pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it's morning walks, evening visits, overnight stays, or weekend care, I plan my schedule around each pet's needs. I believe reliability and consistency are just as important as love and affection, so I make it a priority to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible. Incredibly thoughtful and reliable. Went above and beyond bringing our mail into our home for us and showed up exactly when we asked her to. Our pets were so happy that they could stay in our home while we were gone.

About: Being a bunny owner, I take a very patient approach towards each animal I am caring for. I prefer to know their habits and quirks before I begin our journey of knowing each other. I pay very close attention to each animals body language and move forwards based on that. Growing up I was extremely obsessed with my families dogs and cats. My first pet was a grey cockatiel bird that I rescued, shortly after I got my first yellow lab. Ever since, I have been very involved in taking care of many of my family or friends pets while they are away. I have taken care of extremely small puppies, fish, birds, bunnies, and cats, to nervous, and anxious big labs ! I heavily enjoy spending time next to a furry creature and I even have a bunny of my own named Diva. She has been a very long lesson in attention to attitude when it comes to handling an animal. I am more than available during the day or night to take care of any animal, I do not have a current job so I am free during awkward hours. I make sure to follow the directions my clients have left for me, I often ask more information on the personality of the animal so I understand our boundaries !

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, they’ve always held a special place in my heart. From dogs and cats to horses and more, I love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, explore, or simply enjoys calm company, I’ll care for them with the same love, patience, and attention I’d give my own fur babies! As a licensed esthetician, I create my own schedule & have the flexibility to work around your pet’s routine, making scheduling stress free for both of us. You can count on me to be dependable, respectful of your home, and to keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in loving, capable hands. Pet care has always been a natural part of my day to day routine because I’ve grown up around animals & have cared for pets for majority of my life. I work part time as an esthetician, meaning I can create my own schedule, which gives me flexibility throughout the week for walks, visits, & overnight stays! The pet’s safety, comfort, & routine would be my highest priorities. I like to take the time to learn each pet’s personality, feeding schedule, medications, favorite activities, etc so they feel secure and cared for. I have experience being around cats and dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I understand that every animal has different comfort zones and boundaries. Whether your pet is shy, playful, independent, or needs extra patience, I always respect their pace. I’ll l keep your home clean, follow your instructions carefully, & provide regular photo and video updates so you always know how your furry family members are doing.🐾

About: I’ve grown up and taken care of dogs ever since I was little. I would say I’m knowledgeable on dog training and have a lot of experience with all different types of dogs. I love to walk and pet pups so hopefully we can be good match!! I’m currently working part-time in the afternoon (3-6) so I have lots of free time to check in or walk your pet. I have owned Goldens my entire life so training a high-energy dog is something I’m experienced in. I’m all about creating a safe and enriching environment for dogs, so I’m open to adapting to your pets daily routine.

Adriana was amazing and made us feel so comfortable while we were away. This was our first time having someone watch Caius and she kept us notified and sent photos the entire time. He is definitely more of a reactive dog and gets pretty territorial of our home, but he felt so comfortable with Adriana. She also watched him over the holidays which was much appreciated. We will absolutely be having her watch him again in the future. Thank you so much! ❤️

Danielle has taken care of our 2 cats and dog for two years every time we leave town. She’s always willing to go above and beyond and water your plants or grab your mail. She sends detailed updates daily/throughout the day, is always so attentive and lets us know if she notices anything abnormal with the animals at all. She’s extremely flexible and works her schedule (even holidays) around taking care of them. Our animals have all come to love her. We couldn’t recommend her more! We’re about to move and will miss having her to take care of our fur babies.

About: I have loved animals my whole life and have experience caring for pets of different kinds. Back in Ukraine, I have a cat named Kuzya who is still very dear to me and whom I miss every day. I was responsible for his daily care, feeding, cleaning the litter box, and making sure he felt safe and comfortable. Growing up, I also had a dog (a Jagdterrier), a parrot, and a hamster, so I understand the needs of both energetic and small pets. I am comfortable with walking dogs, playing with them, feeding, giving fresh water, and providing calm companionship for cats. Although I don’t currently have pets in the U.S., I truly miss being around animals. That’s one of the main reasons I joined Rover — I would love to spend time caring for pets and giving them attention, love, and reliable care while their owners are away. I am responsible, organized, patient, and I will always treat your pet as if they were my own. Due to my college schedule, I am available on Mondays and Wednesdays around midday. On Saturdays, I may have availability depending on the time. I am not available on Sundays. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I may have availability with advance notice. I am flexible when scheduled ahead of time and always do my best to accommodate your pet’s need. Please feel free to message me to confirm availability. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and make sure pets feel safe and comfortable. I securely attach leashes during walks, double-check doors, and never leave pets unattended. I respect your home and treat your pet with patience, care, and attention.

About: From my childhood being with dogs have been my best friends. I adore their loyalty. I love spending time with them and see them happy. Dogs are a huge part of my life, I can't imagine not having them around me. To be with them and take care of dogs is what I prefer and have fun doing. I can so relate to every dog owners wish for the best care of their dog, just how I do with mine. I'm trustworthy and reliable. I would tend to your dog as much as I do to my own. I love and respect them so much. Dogs enlighten my life. I'm very easy going and flexible person. Tending to dogs comes natural to me because I appreciate them so much. I'm mostly home and don't leave the dogs alone at all. I enjoy going for long walks to the nearest parks and play and hang out with your dog as much as I do with mine.

We were really nervous about going on vacation for two weeks, that was the longest we had left our dogs behind. Not only did he follow feeding, walking and daily instructions but he went above and beyond for our fur babies. We cannot thank Jarrett enough!

About: Growing up, I have always been surrounded by animals, having fur, feathers, long ears, or scales! Recently I started learning the care for specials needs for conditions or disabilities that limits the animals from doing their daily tasks. I do work a full time position right now, along with and internship, but I can be flexible before and after work. I can be available before 8am and after 5pm, if planned accordingly. My position does allow me to work remote a couple days a week, and I can extend when needed for check ins during lunch break if planned accordingly. Depending on the condition of where the pet is located in the home, I can assure theire area is well kept and tidy on the regular check in visits. Offer to send daily pictures upon requests, and pay the pet tax of sending pictures of the pets while in my care. I am happy to meet prior to arrangement so animals are comfortable with me while their humans are still present. During walks, I can monitor distance and keep necessities at hand for the pet, discussed prior to arrangement of course, if pet needs frequent breaks or shaded area preferred to walk in.

About: Hello! My name is Monica and I’m 26 years old. I have lived with both cats and dogs my whole life. I work at an Animal Hospital and my passion is to care for animals. My dog (Akita) passed away a few years ago, he lived 14 long and incredible years and survived two cancers. I recently lost my cat of 16 years as well, she unfortunately had kidney failure and thyroid disease. I miss them every day. I currently have two rescued cats that mean the world to me. I would love to get the chance to meet and care for your pets. I believe this would help me feel fulfilled and bring some light back into my life. I have connections to vets and would make sure your baby is always safe. I have a heart filled with love ready to give to your little or big four legged family member. I work part time and have a love for animals. Working at the vet allows me to provide a healthy lifestyle for your pet. I am not ready to adopt my own dog just yet as I’m still grieving so being able to take care of your fur babies brings light back into my life! I live in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced yard with a few nearby parks. I have two very lovable cats, but I have a two story house and can easily separate the pets. I would love your pet just like my own.

About: For the past five years I have had a miniature poodle, Zeus, and a St. Bernard hound mix, Willard, that my family and I have raised from puppies. From the tiny to the gigantic I love spending time and taking care of dogs. For the last two summers we have also been fostering dogs, so I have experience with a wide range of breeds and personalities. I have administered eye medicine to my dog and trained my dogs to sit, lay down, do paw, and heel. I am extremely flexible with my schedule. I am a student at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, but all my classes are online. Therefore, I can work all day and attend my 50 minute classes while watching and caring for the dog. I will work full or part time and am available any day of the week. I would love to work until the end of the semester but I can also do one time jobs. I live in a University dormitory so I would only be able to go to others' houses to watch their dog. I can also do dog walks.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Northlake choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Northlake with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
