About: Since I was 3 I've been living with dogs. But having a dog that was actually mine, I was six and my mom bought the family a female Pomeranian for Christmas. Then from there our love of animals grew. at one time we had two Pomeranians and a German Shepard. I would walk them, feed and water them. And give them all the attention and love I could supply. I also would take care of my aunt and uncles dogs while they were gone, which sometimes included me to give oral medicine to their senior dog.

About: Hello! My name is Monica and I’m 26 years old. I have lived with both cats and dogs my whole life. I work at an Animal Hospital and my passion is to care for animals. My dog (Akita) passed away a few years ago, he lived 14 long and incredible years and survived two cancers. I recently lost my cat of 16 years as well, she unfortunately had kidney failure and thyroid disease. I miss them every day. I currently have two rescued cats that mean the world to me. About: I’ve often been told I’m a bit of a “dog whisperer” because pups seem to gravitate toward me, and I think it’s because they can sense my genuine love for animals. I’ve been a dog lover since childhood, growing up with 4 family dogs, and that passion has only grown over the years. I recently cared for my own senior pomeranian, who lived to 18, so I understand the patience, gentleness, and extra attention that senior pups need. On the other end of the spectrum, I know the energy and consistency it takes to care for playful puppies.
