About: I live in Edison Park, but work in McCook/Chicago during the day/week or sometimes from home. I manage my time really well, so I can make anything early in the morning,/on my lunch break work- plus weekends or after work. I have always had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a chocolate lab mix, then when she passed away my family got a three legged black lab and a chesapeake bay retriever. Then, when I was in college, a chocolate lab climbed into my car and after months of trying to find his owners, I decided to keep him. Those puppies have since passed, but our family has 2 giant black labs currently. I’ve also had 4 Guinea Pigs who I loved dearly. I currently work from home part of the time and love four legged angels (sometimes 3, I had a 3 legged dog growing up). I am available in the early mornings, evenings and on the weekends consistently, but can work out weekday daytime availability with advanced notice. I make sure the animals all have the appropriate food/water setups at all times (per owners instructions depending on pet’s specific needs), as well as making sure the temperature is comfortable for the pet. I prioritize exercise and bathroom breaks for each pet. There is never a lack of social interaction when I am around. Pretty much, I view pets as family and think they deserve the best. If they have specific requirements, I will always follow whatever rules the owner requests and talk through any concerns before booking.

About: I’ve cared for 7 dogs and 2 cats throughout their full life span, from puppyhood and kittenhood to senior years, including pets with special senior care needs. I’m confident handling large dogs and focus on structured walks, mental stimulation, and enriching playtime. As a psychotherapist, patience, intuition, and compassionate care come naturally to me. My schedule is very flexible I'm currently part time and work from home. I can be available on notice from 9am-10pm. I am able to do daily and weekly care/walking/play. I have a fenced yard. Two cats who are used to visitors and other animals. I can also crate animal if requested, use baby fence and adapt to living requirements specific to client needs.

About: I’ve often been told I’m a bit of a “dog whisperer” because pups seem to gravitate toward me, and I think it’s because they can sense my genuine love for animals. I’ve been a dog lover since childhood, growing up with 4 family dogs, and that passion has only grown over the years. I recently cared for my own senior pomeranian, who lived to 18, so I understand the patience, gentleness, and extra attention that senior pups need. On the other end of the spectrum, I know the energy and consistency it takes to care for playful puppies. Right now, I share my home with two spoiled rescue dogs, Chico (chihuahua) and Squeaks (tripod Pomeranian) who remind me daily how much joy and comfort pets bring into our lives and family. I have taught my dogs how to sit, stay, down, shake, come, and spin. So maybe I can even teach your dog some new tricks :) I also know how stressful it can be to leave your furry family member at home. My goal is to be their bright spot while you’re away, whether that’s a walk, a potty break, or simply some kisses, belly rubs, and companionship. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own! I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule to fit in drop-ins, potty breaks, quick walks (10-15) min, kisses and belly rubs during the day while you are away! Right now I only offer drop-ins, potty breaks, and quick walks for your furry babies. I do not offer any home services at my personal residence. If any service is requested outside of the normal services offered, I would be happy to help and discuss prior to my drop-in visit.

They will be allowed on my couch and my bed. It's important to me they feel comfortable as it can be intimidating to be in a new environment.

About: I've taken care of dogs of many different breeds for more than years, including my own. Your pup will feel loved and safe. I will treat them as if they are my own. I'm currently in between projects so I'm pretty open for the month of August. Starting September, I will be available in the early evening and night time. I am not going to offer boarding in my own as I have my own pet who is territorial. Furthermore, my home is not equipped to house more than one animal.

About: I’ve taken care of my shitzu poodle for a little over 8 years! I love to go on long walks and have a lot of experience with taking care of my friends and families pets!! I am currently home for the summer before starting full time in September so my schedule is super flexible and I love spending time outdoors!! About: I have a dog of my own and love playing with her in and outdoors, taking her on walks/runs and love spreading my love to other dogs too!! complete open availability!! I work in the park ridge area sporadically between the hours of 10-2 typically, so am available any times outside of those windows. I make sure to be extra careful, but gentle, with dogs of all sizes on their walks and have fun play time sessions with them while still keeping everything safe and staying high alert.

About: I love dogs and came across this site and thought how it would be nice to have guests in my home. I have a decent sized back yard and there is a walking trail I could walk a pup or two along. I would do my best to keep your dog comfortable in my home. I have four kids in my home that have so much love for animals. Hope to hear from you soon! There are pets in the home but I do not keep in the same spaces at any time regardless if friendly or not. It’s more for the comfort of a new space for your pet and for yours as an owner. I do work a lot. However Thursday thru Sunday’s I am home full time during the day. Monday thru weds I work regular business hours and also have a crew at home willing to live up and care for our guest. We would regulate one room to your pet but it’s with us. Our family room where your pet will never be alone. Always someone watching tv, relaxing, or even sleeping in.

I currently have open availability, with tons of time to play with and entertain your pups! I am able to house sit as well, if given a minimum of 3 days in advance! While I cannot board fur babies at my house, I am more than able to monitor and play with your furry friends at your home (and on walks of course!), as well as follow any certain rules or procedures one may have for their best furry friend!

My dog (Akita) passed away a few years ago, he lived 14 long and incredible years and survived two cancers.
