About: Well, I may not be the worlds best, but I sure try to be! Family, friends, and neighbors have trusted me to give their pets the care and love they deserve for years. I’m currently staying close to home to take care of my mother, so your pet will never be left alone. I will have time to walk or check up on your pets however often is needed as well. I like to make sure that your pet has a happy and safe time in my car. I pay great attention to detail in my care for animals and can follow any additional instructions. I have also had several different kinds of pets myself, so I have a wide experience with all kinds of pets.

About: 🐾 About us Certified Dog Trainer (Animal Behavior College – Positive Reinforcement Based Training) I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid, and what started as helping family and friends turned into a true passion and profession. My wife and I both work from home, which means your dog receives consistent supervision, structure, and plenty of attention throughout the day. 📍 Located 10 minutes from O’Hare — perfect for travelers. 🕒 Drop-Off & Pick-Up Hours Monday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Thursday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Sunday: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM Please select a specific 30-minute drop-off and pick-up window when booking. If anything changes, just communicate as early as possible — I completely understand that travel plans can shift. 🏡 Our Home & Philosophy We have a fully fenced yard and a dog-friendly home designed with safety in mind. Playtime is always supervised, and dogs only interact if we’re 100% confident they get along. It’s completely okay if your dog prefers people over other dogs — we respect every dog’s personality. Each dog enjoys free roaming, walks, and one-on-one interaction with us — they’re treated like part of the home, not just part of a group. 📋 Requirements Dogs must be crate trained and comfortable resting in a crate when needed. They must also be up to date on all required vaccinations to ensure the health and safety of every dog in our care. These standards help us maintain a calm, structured, and safe environment for everyone. 📸 Updates You’ll receive daily updates with photos so you can relax knowing your best friend is in great hands. 🐾 Our biggest priorities are ❤️ Love, 🛡 Safety, 🤝 Trust, and 🏡 Comfort. Our number one rule: no dog is ever put in a position where they feel they have to defend themselves.

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve cared for dogs and cats since the age of 6. My first fur baby as an adult was a 100-pound lab named Zeke whom I spoiled for 14 years. My current pups are Leia (3yo lab) and Loulou (1yo pug), both rescues. My day job is in the tech industry. However, I’m laid off and looking to spend some of my free time this summer doing what I love. Caring for animals. See my calendar for availability. I’m typically available weekdays 9:30am to 2pm and some weekends 8am to 8pm. I am happy to work with your schedule or needs. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly pups of my own to keep your pup from being lonely. Happy to crate or not. My house has ample space to keep pups separate if needed. We love taking walks, either group or one at a time based on your preference. I live close to a walking trail in a quiet neighborhood of folks who also love dogs.

About: Hi, I’m Claire and I am a long-time dog lover and dog mom. I have lived with different roommates dogs and cats for 5+ years now and have helped care for them during weekends away, and on busy days. I currently live with my 50 lb high energy mutt. I am comfortable with any sized dog as long as he or she is trained. I am a biologist and have studied animals and animal behavior so I have a good grasp on pets needs. I am willing and able to pickup or drop-off and give baths to your pets! I look forward to helping out when possible and meeting your furry friends. I work from home so I have a rather flexible schedule. I am able to fit in walks/check-ins from 3pm -10 pm or between 7-9 am. I am also available on weekends. My pup is crate trained and able to be on furniture. I spend lots of time outside with her and will do the same with your fur baby!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life! I also trained my dogs at Paws training center. I enjoy long walks and playing fetch in the park or just snuggling up on the couch. Your dog will be treated well here. I am able to board, as I have a 2300 sqft house with a fenced in back yard, perfect for beautiful days outside. I have pet sit for a number of neighborhood pets which is why I decided to join Rover! I work full time from home and can give lots of attention to your special pal. I prefer to only have 1 dog at a time, but for a family, I can accommodate more. I believe walks are how we keep our pets mentally sharp, and I like to do 2-3 a day. Be sure to show a healthy combination of professionalism and uplifting content that’ll fulfill the required word count. I work from home and can give your pets quality attention. I walk 3x a day, at 8Am, 2:30 and 9pm. On weekends I have the same availability. I have a fenced in back yard and if your dog is safe to roam in the back on beautiful days, they can or snuggle up inside.

About: While I’m beginning my professional pet care journey, I’ve been around animals my entire life — including cats, dogs, turtles, and more — and I’m very comfortable providing loving, compassionate, high-quality care. I’m intuitive, empathetic, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator, which I believe are all important qualities when caring for animals. I understand how important it is to place your pets in trustworthy hands, and I’ll always treat your fur babies with the same love, patience, and attention I would want for my own. I’m not just there to complete tasks — I genuinely love animals and enjoy bonding with them, making sure they feel loved, comforted, and cared for while their humans are away. Whether your pet needs a fun, active environment or a calm and relaxing space, I’m happy to accommodate their unique personality and needs to help them feel happy, safe and comfortable while in my care. Thank you for considering me! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! :) I have a very flexible schedule as someone who creates my own work hours, which allows me to accommodate many different schedules and give your pet plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. I care for your pets in your home with the same love, attention, and respect that I would give my own. I greet them warmly and offer plenty of pets, cuddles, affection, and companionship based on their individual personality and comfort level. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, clean litter boxes, playtime, and any additional accommodations or care requested. For pets who require walks, I ensure they are safely harnessed and comfortable while allowing them time to explore and sniff at their own pace. I stay attentive to their surroundings, prioritize their safety around other animals, and make sure they remain comfortable in all weather conditions — never too hot or too cold. My goal is always to help your pets feel safe, cared for, relaxed, and loved while you’re away. :)

About: I am an experienced, reliable and dependable pet lover. I have grown up my whole life with animals. I recently had to put my senior pitbull down so my house is very quiet now. Pet care is my passion and currently my main source of income and work. I have plenty of time to care for your pet! I am interested in walking, daily visits, or overnight boarding anytime of the week. Our home has a large fenced in yard, perfect for your pup to enjoy some fresh air, or bask in the sunshine. I can take your pet on walks or they can run around in the yard. Or we can snuggle up on the couch and get lots of belly rubs.

Katherine was absolutely amazing with my 12-week-old Cavapoo puppy, and I couldn’t have asked for a better first dog sitter. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and well cared for. She hand-fed him his dinner, took him outside to potty twice, spent time playing with him, and even put him in his crate for bedtime. What meant the most to me was that she stayed for a few extra minutes to make sure he settled down before leaving. That level of care and patience gave me so much peace of mind. As a new puppy owner, it’s not easy trusting someone with such a young puppy, but Katherine treated him with so much kindness and attention. It was clear she genuinely cared about his well-being, and I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in such good hands. I’m incredibly grateful for everything she did and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. I highly recommend Katherine to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and compassionate dog sitter!

We had Nicholas care for our dog and four cats while we were away, including administering medication twice daily for one of our cats. Overall, he was reliable and made sure everyone was fed, cared for, and safe. We appreciated the photos and updates during visits. Our dog did get spooked during one walk due to a loud car and had a harder time going out after that, so more backyard time was used. There was an accident during one of the visits, which he handled and cleaned up, and we appreciated that. Overall, we’re grateful our pets were well cared for and would book again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
