About: I grew with a 60lb English Bulldog who had a rambunctious spirit. With him I learned the special needs from particular breeds. Later I had a 5 lb Yorkie. She was a sweetheart that wanted nothing more than to be by your side. They were the best around. I am happy to walk your dog(s), run them in the yard, or spend time with them indoors to break up the time they spend alone. I’m also happy to stop by to feed your cats and give them some one on on time. I like to work within my community. It builds trust between both parties. I’m a college student continuing in the fall. My hours are flexible until then. While I don’t house your pets, I am able to tend to them in your home. I can check a litter box, handle feedings, play with them, and run them in your fenced yard. I’m happy to walk them through their neighborhood or to take them for long walks to a local park. We can tailor the visit to their specific needs.

About: I’ve loved and cared for animals since I was young and continue to care for my senior cat whom I’ve had for the last 12 years. I have experience walking dogs ranging from small to large sizes, and live near a forest preserve trail that would be perfect for their walks! Friends and neighbors have also relied on me to do drop-in feedings as well. I work full-time, 4 days a week, evening shift. So I am available most mornings and have a pretty flexible 3-day weekend schedule. I live in a building complex that has a fenced in little dog park for your pup to run around in. I’m also near a forest preserve trail if they prefer longer walks to explore nature. Cats will have a safe, quiet space to stay with a large window to sun bathe in the mornings and cozy blankets to snuggle in.

About: I've been caring for dogs since childhood, from tiny Havanese to large German Shepherds, and I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, ages, breeds, and energy levels. Whether your dog is playful and outgoing or shy and anxious, I have the patience and understanding to help them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I take the time to earn each dog's trust while providing plenty of attention and affection. I also have experience administering medications to dogs and am happy to follow any care instructions to keep your pet healthy and comfortable. Whether you need dog walking, drop-in visits, pet sitting, or overnight care, you can count on me to treat your dog like family. My goal is to give you peace of mind while ensuring your dog is happy, safe, and well cared for every visit. As a current graduate student on summer break, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide attentive, reliable care for your pet(s). I'm available for dog walks and dog/cat drop-in visits Tuesday through Thursday and Saturday through Sunday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, as well as Mondays from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. I also offer overnight pet sitting on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. I understand that consistency and communication are important, and I'm committed to being dependable, punctual, and responsive so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. When caring for pets in your home, my priority is to keep them safe, comfortable, and happy while maintaining their normal routine. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, exercise, medication administration, crate or kennel routines, and any other specific needs your pet may have. During walks, your dog's safety is my top priority. I ensure they remain securely leashed, closely supervise their surroundings, and only allow interactions with people or other animals if you've given permission. Whether I'm stopping by for a drop-in visit, taking your dog for a walk, or providing overnight care, I'll treat both your pet and your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

About: 🐾 About us Certified Dog Trainer (Animal Behavior College – Positive Reinforcement Based Training) I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid, and what started as helping family and friends turned into a true passion and profession. My wife and I both work from home, which means your dog receives consistent supervision, structure, and plenty of attention throughout the day. 📍 Located 10 minutes from O’Hare — perfect for travelers. 🕒 Drop-Off & Pick-Up Hours Monday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Thursday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Sunday: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM Please select a specific 30-minute drop-off and pick-up window when booking. I ask that you arrive within that window so we can keep transitions smooth, organized, and stress-free for everyone. If anything changes, just communicate as early as possible — I completely understand that travel plans can shift. 🏡 Our Home & Philosophy We have a fully fenced yard and a dog-friendly home designed with safety in mind. Playtime is always supervised, and dogs only interact if we’re 100% confident they get along. It’s completely okay if your dog prefers people over other dogs — we respect every dog’s personality. Each dog enjoys free roaming, walks, and one-on-one interaction with us — they’re treated like part of the home, not just part of a group. 📋 Requirements Dogs must be crate trained and comfortable resting in a crate when needed. They must also be up to date on all required vaccinations to ensure the health and safety of every dog in our care. These standards help us maintain a calm, structured, and safe environment for everyone. 📸 Updates You’ll receive daily updates with photos so you can relax knowing your best friend is in great hands. 🐾 Our biggest priorities are ❤️ Love, 🛡 Safety, 🤝 Trust, and 🏡 Comfort. Our number one rule: no dog is ever put in a position where they feel they have to defend themselves.

About: I have experienced with many small and big dogs. When I see dogs that are growling or my own I try to steer away from that and make sure I walk away. Dogs have emotions and feelings just like we do and that is why it is essential to make sure they are kept up well fed and exercised. Personally I am a student but found dog sitting to be a mental break for me because I enjoy spending time with dogs. Everyday I make sure I see a smile from my dog and that he is well fed and exercised. I take care of my Boston terrier and sometimes my sister’s Great Pyrenees and these two are both different characters. No matter what dog breed it may be each dog will be treated with respect and care.

About: I am originally from Chicago, IL and ever since I was born we’ve had dogs in my household. Currently, my parents have two Great Pyrenees named Harry + Sally (in profile picture). I’m always looking to meet and watch new and existing clients’ dogs! I have a work schedule where I know when I will be off each day to help with planning purposes. I currently live in Germantown and work in West Nashville, so I am close to all neighborhoods at all times. I am willing to make visits to your home as needed and can board certain dogs. My apartment does allow dogs and am close to lots of dog parks if you prefer that.

Katherine was absolutely amazing with my 12-week-old Cavapoo puppy, and I couldn’t have asked for a better first dog sitter. She went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and well cared for. She hand-fed him his dinner, took him outside to potty twice, spent time playing with him, and even put him in his crate for bedtime. What meant the most to me was that she stayed for a few extra minutes to make sure he settled down before leaving. That level of care and patience gave me so much peace of mind. As a new puppy owner, it’s not easy trusting someone with such a young puppy, but Katherine treated him with so much kindness and attention. It was clear she genuinely cared about his well-being, and I felt completely comfortable knowing he was in such good hands. I’m incredibly grateful for everything she did and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again. I highly recommend Katherine to anyone looking for a caring, dependable, and compassionate dog sitter!

We had Nicholas care for our dog and four cats while we were away, including administering medication twice daily for one of our cats. Overall, he was reliable and made sure everyone was fed, cared for, and safe. We appreciated the photos and updates during visits. Our dog did get spooked during one walk due to a loud car and had a harder time going out after that, so more backyard time was used. There was an accident during one of the visits, which he handled and cleaned up, and we appreciated that. Overall, we’re grateful our pets were well cared for and would book again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
