About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, mostly chihuahuas and rescues, so I’m very comfortable with pups who need a little extra patience, reassurance, or understanding. My hands-on experience goes far beyond casual pet care. At Miami University, I was part of Paws for a Cause, where we helped train dogs to prepare them for working with children or future companion roles. This gave me a strong foundation in obedience training, reading body language, and supporting dogs with different temperaments. More recently, I’ve been volunteering with the Evanston Animal Shelter, working with dogs who have a wide range of behaviors and needs. There, I’ve assisted with medication administration, training sessions, enrichment, and helping nervous or high-energy dogs feel more comfortable and confident. I’m also on a path toward becoming a Physician Assistant, which adds to my calm, attentive, and health-focused approach. I’m comfortable managing routines, monitoring for changes, and making sure each dog feels safe and cared for. Your pet will be treated with patience, structure, and plenty of affection. I work full-time as a medical scribe during the day (9–5), so evenings, weekends, and holidays are when I’m most available for pet care. During those times, I’m fully focused on your pet’s needs—whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. My schedule outside of work is very flexible, so I can reliably fit in consistent visits or longer stays. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walk times, crate routines, and any training cues you use. I take time to get to know your pet’s personality, comfort level, and boundaries so they feel safe and relaxed. I provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and calm companionship, and I always keep water fresh, watch for behavior changes, and send regular updates so you feel connected. If I’m hosting in my home (or doing extended stays), I make sure pets have a quiet, clean space to settle in, regular potty breaks, structured playtime, and a consistent routine. Safety is a top priority, doors secured, no access to anything unsafe, and lots of supervised time. Whether I’m in your home or mine, your pet gets patient, reliable care with the goal of making them feel comfortable, understood, and well-loved.

About: We're a family of five who adore pets of all kinds! We had a wonderful dog named Peace for about six years and plenty of experience petsitting for friends and relatives. Due to travel commitments, we currently have no pets-- which gives us plenty of time to care for yours. I am a stay at home mom and my husband works on a hybrid schedule, which gives us plenty of flexibility and allows us to be home for the majority of the day. Our daughter is currently enrolled in online high school, so she has plenty of time to walk, care for, and play with your pets! We have a large fenced yard and are able to crate your pets if provided. We'll take dogs for walks a minimum of twice a day and let them roam in the yard/provide at least a couple more potty breaks.

About: I live in Edison Park, but work in McCook/Chicago during the day/week or sometimes from home. I manage my time really well, so I can make anything early in the morning,/on my lunch break work- plus weekends or after work. I have always had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a chocolate lab mix, then when she passed away my family got a three legged black lab and a chesapeake bay retriever. Then, when I was in college, a chocolate lab climbed into my car and after months of trying to find his owners, I decided to keep him. Those puppies have since passed, but our family has 2 giant black labs currently. I’ve also had 4 Guinea Pigs who I loved dearly. I currently work from home part of the time and love four legged angels (sometimes 3, I had a 3 legged dog growing up). I am available in the early mornings, evenings and on the weekends consistently, but can work out weekday daytime availability with advanced notice. I make sure the animals all have the appropriate food/water setups at all times (per owners instructions depending on pet’s specific needs), as well as making sure the temperature is comfortable for the pet. I prioritize exercise and bathroom breaks for each pet. There is never a lack of social interaction when I am around. Pretty much, I view pets as family and think they deserve the best. If they have specific requirements, I will always follow whatever rules the owner requests and talk through any concerns before booking.

About: I had dogs growing up and my own dog in my 20's/30's in downtown chicago. Crate trained early in my dog's life. Now, I have two loving tweens who want a dog more than anything & will do walks or anything needed. Completely fenced in backyard. Very walkable suburban blocks. Will happily comply with whatever "treats" parameters you wish, food schedule needed. We only offer Rover availability when we have the days to devote to your dog. We are home-bodies at heart. Looking for a dog to be the center of our world for the few days we can offer. Your dog will be a member of our family. Easy to get out to our backyard with our sliding door off family room. We will feed your dog in our kitchen when instructed. Your dog could sleep with 1 of us in bed unless you prefer and dog prefers to be in their own dog bed/crate etc. You let us know where you'd want him/her to be.

About: I’m pet lover with a degree in animal behavior looking to help you care for your furry friends! I love spending time with animals and have found ways to incorporate that into my professional and personal life. I’ve worked as a bather at a grooming salon, provided daily care for all the animals at a livestock and pet rescue organization, and as a behavior intern for dogs at an animal shelter. These jobs have given me years of hands on experience caring for a wide variety of animals including dogs, cats, cows, and horses. I’ve also had experience providing basic grooming services, like nail-clipping and ear cleaning, and using positive reinforcement training for behavior modification in dogs. I have bachelors degrees in Biology and Psychology and a PhD in Animal Behavior. About: I have had two beautiful golden Retrievers and love dogs in general. My golden Wyatt passed away but I adore and love and miss him so much. Now with a new year one year old puppy who is HUGE , I absolutely want to meet more friends of fur. I work daily but have a flexible schedule and can attend animals during the workday as I make my own hours. I also can stay overnight on Friday through Sunday for overnight sitting. I care for pets making sure they have the essentials, food and water. That being said I love to spend time with them all always they are amazing and I love playing with animals and making them feel as human as possible.
