“Absolutely recommend Rebeca! You can tell she really cares about dogs and loves what she does. My dog Snoopy has anxiety & is very shy at first but he felt at ease with her as soon as he met her during the meet and greet. She was so gentle, patient & sweet with him right away. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such caring hands. I will def be booking with her again!”

About: We've had dogs and cats in our family for years and miss hearing the patter of paws! We treat our pets well and enjoy playtimes and grooming dogs. Either my son or I are home to be with your pet. I work part time and my son is here when I work. He is working on his master's in business and loves to walk and play with the dogs. We do not have any pets of our own at present. This is a pet friendly home and yard on a quiet cul de sac. We dog sit other family members pets at time. Dogs are welcome in most rooms of the house.
“Paige is FANTASTIC! My dogs loved her the minute they met her. She took great care of them and communicates well. I had no worries at all going away and leaving my 2 Danes in her care! She’s definitely added to the top of our pet sitter list!”
About: Ever since I was a child, I have had a passion for dogs and animals of all sorts. Growing up in the Philippines, my relatives found it strange to have such compassion for animals. I'd always begged my parents for a dog while doing avid research and volunteering at pet-related jobs to prepare myself if my dream was to come true. When I was 17, my parents finally agreed to get a dog-- but not just any dog. I wanted my dream dog: an Alaskan Malamute. Huge, stubborn, and a daily shedder, it was a huge challenge I took on myself. However, this Malamute was well trained, house-broken, and friendly. I believe I can take care of a dog of any size, temperament, or history. I am a graduate from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Sociology. I volunteered at the Chicago Canine Rescue downtown where we play and walk with shelter dogs. I have copious experience with boarding, walking, and overall loving dogs. As a past dog boarder, I understand the care and attention that must be given to a pup to create a trusting bond with them. For more pictures of our past clients and to get a better idea how I interact with your pup, check out this instagram: powerpuffdogs May have to step out a few times a day, or if I have an outing I would make sure your pup has had plenty of exercise and pets before leaving. I adhere as closely as possible to the pet’s existing schedule— routine is key! Other than that, if you are comfortable with it, I can take your dog on forest walks, dog parks (only if you’d like, and with ample supervision), or on play dates with my own well-socialized dogs!
About: I have over 7 years of experience caring for dogs and am comfortable with a wide range of breeds, sizes ,and personalities. My experience includes feeding, walking, playtime, and providing companionship while owners are away. I am dependable, patient and always committed to ensuring that every dog feels safe and happy. I love animals and treat each pet as if they were my own! I am fully available on the weekends, starting Friday evenings. I can also help with walks, feeding, and play time Monday through Fridays, after 5pm. I follow all instructions that are given to me by the pups owner. I provide, feeding, fresh water, walks, exercise, play time, and plenty of attention. I make sure that the home is kept clean and secure. I will also communicate with the owner regularly with updates and photos.
“Ella did amazing with the bunnies! was very attentive to them and communicated very well with me during my work trip. The pictures were so great as well, really making me feel like they were left in good hands. 10/10 as a pet sitter and would recommend.”

About: Hi there! I'm Dana, a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for a wide variety of pets including dogs, cats, birds, fish, rats and other exotic animals. I currently have two cats and an axolotl myself, and throughout my life I've helped care for everything from energetic puppies and independent cats, to birds, aquatic critters, and other unique companions. I believe every animal is different and deserves patient, individualized care. One of the most important lessons I've learned over the years is that trust takes time, and building a positive relationship with a pet starts with kindness, consistency, and understanding their unique personality. Whether your pet is outgoing and playful or shy and cautious, I take the time to help them feel safe and comfortable. When caring for your pets, I treat them as if they were my own. Whether it's daily walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, administering basic care, or simply providing companionship while you're away, my goal is to ensure your pets are happy, comfortable, well cared for, and that you have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. I'm committed to providing regular updates, photos, and clear communication so you always know how your pet is doing while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! Unfortunately, Rover does not allow me to show my specific availability. I currently work full-time, so for dog walking and check-ins my availability will be: Monday: 5am-6am and 6:30pm-8pm Tuesday-Friday: 5am-6am and 4pm-8pm Saturday: 5am-6am and 10am-9pm Sunday: 5am-8pm I care for every pet as if they were my own and work to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible while you're away. Whether you have cats, dogs, fish, birds, or other small and exotic pets, I'll follow your care instructions carefully and make sure their individual needs are met. For dogs, this includes feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention. For cats, I'll provide fresh food and water, litter box maintenance, enrichment, and affection based on their comfort level. I'm also happy to care for fish, birds, reptiles, and other pets by maintaining their feeding schedules, cleaning habitats as needed, and monitoring their overall well-being. I'm comfortable administering medications when required and will keep a close eye on your pet's health and behavior. During each visit, I'll provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. I'll also treat your home with respect and leave it clean, tidy, and secure.
About: I have a half Australian shepherd half poodle named Luna! She’s been with me for 13 years since she was a puppy. I’ve grown up around dogs and cats since a young age and have lots of love towards them. They’re awesome and I’d love to help care for yours! I’m currently working a full time position that is predominately remote, with me having to go into the downtown office once a week. My schedule varies week by week. I am responsible and can hopefully get any special requests executed. I follow directions super well and am trustworthy. It’s scary having a stranger take care of your pet, I get it. They will be in special hands!
“We booked Viviana for multiple drop in visits for our two cats and were very impressed. She was responsive and met with us beforehand to ask detailed questions about our cats’ needs. During each visit she sent multiple photos and made sure everything was taken care of. It gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommended!”

“Parisa did a fabulous job taking care of our pet bunnies. She followed all the instructions and took a great care of our bunnies. She is detailed oriented, caring and a very punctual. We would definitely reach out to her again in the future. Totally recommend her.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. When I was little, I had a pet cat and a dog (not at the same time). I also helped my mom rehabilitate wild kittens for many years, finding them loving homes and socializing them. Growing up, I had a pet schnoodle named Charlie. He was very much a sweetheart! Additionally, I have watched friends’ dogs while they were on vacation, up to two weeks at a time. I work full-time, but I have a hybrid job. I usually go in office 3-4 days a week downtown, but I do have the option to work from home. I cannot care for pets in my own home. I can stop by frequently throughout the day. If it would be a longer care situation (1+ days), I can stay the night if needed.
“If I could give seven stars I would give this Cat Sitter seven stars we had a list of instructions five pages long and she filed everything every single instruction to the letter so our cat looks so great and healthy after being alone for four days so I am just thrilled at this Cat Sitter I cannot recommend her enough”

“Mary is always reliable and great with our animals. She communicates well and takes good care of them when we are gone. She also listens to what we ask her to do with them including meds for our elderly cat.”

About: I am currently a college student who loves animals. I have a dog and three cats at home, and I have volunteered at animal shelters in the past, so I’m very experienced with pets. While I am newer to house sitting, I am definitely not new to loving and caring for our furry friends! I work part time so I am available multiple times every day. I can stop by homes in the morning before work, and then after work in the afternoon and evening. I walk my dog and he loves our fenced in yard. I also am accustomed to feeding and cleaning litter boxes. And of course, care, love and attention are important every day!

About: I’ve loved animals since I was a kid and have consistently had a pet, from hamsters, rabbits, birds, cats and dogs I love all of our pets! I’m a full time grad student but I often have morning availability and lots of breaks between classes in the afternoon and evening. I own a car so zipping to and from class to take care of a furry friend is no trouble at all. I live in an apartment so taking your pet is unfortunately not possible, but if I’m in your space and home I would treat it like my own. I am responsible when it comes to locking up, I don’t touch things that aren’t mine, and I am mindful of any requests that you’d have for me.
“Our Dog took to Scott almost instantaneously! Which is very unusual as he is typically very timid and shy at first. Scott did a great job following instructions and had a great walk with little Carl! I would highly recommend Scott and we definitely will be using him again in the future!”

About: I’m a real person who loves all animals and I’d say dogs happen to be number one in my book. I like to think I’m a dog whisperer, but nothing has been confirmed yet. I treat them just like a good friend. I love to get us both some exercise and have some fun while we’re at it! I’d love to help you out with any care needed for your loved ones. They deserve the best and I’d like to help provide peace of mind. I am open to all breeds and sizes. Cats are welcome, even other pets and insects you may have excluding one, those hissing roaches would have to be the only exclusion. Thanks for Your consideration. Happy dog care taker hunting :) I prefer to care for animals early morning before my other demands take over…but would love to get to know your pets and be flexible when needed. Well, at the moment, I only have plants that require my attention. I love animals of all sorts and would love to have some of my own, but I plan to travel and I know that getting one requires a lot of attention. Giving them up after a certain amount of time is not an option.
Glenview dog parents share their Rover experiences
The best pet sitter. Rosy literally just saved my cat’s life, when she noticed he was not his usual self, took him to the vet, where they identified he had a urinary blockage and likely just hours to live. How lucky for us that Rosy was caring for our animals and so observant. Thank you, forever. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
