“Cody is amazing! She took the time to learn my dog’s specific needs and personality, and tailors her interaction with them. Her many years of experience with dogs was evident in the way that she cared for my senior dog’s needs and quirks. Aside from her professionalism (always on time, dependable, reliable, trustworthy), she is passionate about dogs, and my little one absolutely loved her! She went out of her way to make sure that my dog felt safe and happy while I was away, and sent me lots of cute pics. I can’t say enough great things about her. You will love her. I will definitely be rebooking her again!”

About: I've been around cats and dogs my entire life and have cared for pets for as long as I can remember. About 10 years ago, I worked as a professional dog walker, and I currently volunteer with Chicago Pet Rescue. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, from energetic and playful to shy or senior pets. I provide dependable, compassionate care and treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether it's feeding, walks, playtime, litter box care, or simply providing companionship, my goal is to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their families are away. I work part-time with a flexible daytime schedule and am available for drop-in visits throughout the week. As a planner and dependable communicator, I take pride in being on time and providing consistent care. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their families are away. When caring for pets in a client's home, I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, and routines. I understand that every pet is unique and do my best to help them feel comfortable and secure. I provide updates and photos when appropriate so owners can feel confident that their pets are receiving attentive, loving care.
About: I have owned and loved dogs my entire life. I've had Labs (I currently have a Golden/Lab mix named Joey! He has ALL of the Golden retriever energy), Greyhounds (RIP sweet Gloria and Cougar!), Austrailian shepherds, and German shepherds as my own and/or family pets, and am very comfortable with high energy, big breeds. I love giving extra smart dogs some fun mental challenges to keep them occupied, and of course am happy to rub bellies for as long as the dog requests. I love the high energy and silly quirks of smaller dog breeds too! I've house sat and cared for animals off and on for over a decade, but have just recently reactivated my Rover profile and am looking to accept new clients. I work part time as a yoga instructor, and homeschool my kiddos. My schedule is VERY flexible, and I am often able to pick up day-of requests. I've a Type-A scheduler too though, so I love some advanced notice! I can't imagine my life without pets and feel strongly that a home just doesn't feel like a home without pets. I will treat your pets just like a family member, because that's exactly who they are! I love specific requests, and accomodating exactly what your pet is used to so they don't feel lonely or confused.

About: Hi, I'm Kit! As a long-time animal lover with two little cats of my own, I'm more than happy to watch your pet(s) while you're away. My rates are accurate! As I'm new to Rover, I'm hoping to start growing a referral base. I've been a volunteer at animal shelters since high school, and because of that, I understand that every dog and cat has a unique personality and routine. I've gained experience with feeding and play routines, socialization, and recognizing signs of stress or illness. Whether your pet is playful and social, or shy and independent, I'm ready to adapt to their needs. I’ll make sure your baby(s) get plenty of love, attention, and playtime, and update you with all the best of it so you can travel with peace of mind! I am employed full-time in the loop. Monday through Friday, I'll be in the office from 9-5, but my early mornings and evenings belong to your pet(s)! On weekends, I'll be happy to accommodate any time you'd like. I prioritize creating a calm, safe, and stress-free environment for every pet in my care. Since every animal has different needs and routines, I take the time to carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and household rules. No one knows your baby(s) like you! For drop-in visits and overnight stays, I aim to keep pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident and connected while they’re away. During walks, your pet(s) safety is my top priority. I stay alert to the environment, avoid unsafe situations and interactions, and ensure your pet(s) are secure at all times. My goal is to treat every home respectfully and every pet like they’re my own!

I have experience walking my neighbors dogs and know how to tame a dog if need be. Working with cats and dogs is a passion of mine as each has their own unique personality that is discovered over time. I am a college student at the Royal Conservatory of Music Glenn Gould School. I am available most afternoons Monday to Saturday, except for Sunday. I have a large fenced backyard that is safe for dogs to soak up the sun while having fun exploring, running around, and playing games

About: I am currently a college student who loves animals. I have a dog and three cats at home, and I have volunteered at animal shelters in the past, so I’m very experienced with pets. While I am newer to house sitting, I am definitely not new to loving and caring for our furry friends! I work part time so I am available multiple times every day. I can stop by homes in the morning before work, and then after work in the afternoon and evening. I walk my dog and he loves our fenced in yard. I also am accustomed to feeding and cleaning litter boxes. And of course, care, love and attention are important every day!
About: I've pet sit in the past and enjoy walking, playing and providing personalized care for your beloved pet! I also have experience volunteering at dog shelters in the past! I ensure they receive exactly what they need while still having fun in the process! “Can’t say enough good things about Camila. Quick to respond to my request, flexible to setup a meet and greet, great with the dogs, sent pictures and was very informative about how they were doing and arrived within the agreed upon appointment time. I would absolutely recommend her and use her again.”

During each visit she sent multiple photos and made sure everything was taken care of. It gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommended!”

About: Ever since I was a child, I have had a passion for dogs and animals of all sorts. Growing up in the Philippines, my relatives found it strange to have such compassion for animals. I'd always begged my parents for a dog while doing avid research and volunteering at pet-related jobs to prepare myself if my dream was to come true. When I was 17, my parents finally agreed to get a dog-- but not just any dog. I wanted my dream dog: an Alaskan Malamute. Huge, stubborn, and a daily shedder, it was a huge challenge I took on myself. However, this Malamute was well trained, house-broken, and friendly. I believe I can take care of a dog of any size, temperament, or history. I am a graduate from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Sociology. I volunteered at the Chicago Canine Rescue downtown where we play and walk with shelter dogs. I have copious experience with boarding, walking, and overall loving dogs. As a past dog boarder, I understand the care and attention that must be given to a pup to create a trusting bond with them. For more pictures of our past clients and to get a better idea how I interact with your pup, check out this instagram: powerpuffdogs May have to step out a few times a day, or if I have an outing I would make sure your pup has had plenty of exercise and pets before leaving. I adhere as closely as possible to the pet’s existing schedule— routine is key! Other than that, if you are comfortable with it, I can take your dog on forest walks, dog parks (only if you’d like, and with ample supervision), or on play dates with my own well-socialized dogs!
“Michelle did a great job checking on my cat! She kept me updated throughout with pictures and details on her overall health and demeanor. She must be a cat whisperer because she was able to befriend my shy kitty by the end of a few days!”

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember and am always the first choice when friends need someone to watch their animals. I have been around all sorts of animals my whole life and I am also very dedicated to any job that comes my way. Not only will I be great company for your pet, but I will also work my hardest. I am very flexible this summer and am willing to work on a moments notice if need be! I also have a car and don’t mind driving! I have been around animals my whole life, from dogs to horses, so bonding with animals is very easy for me. Bonding and spending time with pets is my number one priority, as well as, of course, making sure their needs are met. I am constantly making sure that any animal I am in the presence of is satisfied.

About: Going out of town? Your dog will love our friendly Evanston home located near Lake Michigan beaches and forest preserves. We provide weekly adventures such as trips to the dog beach and pooch park, walks in the neighborhood, playtime in our fenced in backyard, and lots of love and attention. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs in my family since I was born. I grew up in rural areas in the Midwest, and we always had at least one family dog of varying breeds. When I became an adult, I got a black lab puppy from my sister, who had rescued its mother while it was pregnant. I became very interested in dog training, reading any books I could get my hands on and applying their techniques. My lab, Asia, became the gentlest, most well-trained dog most people had ever met. We lost her at age 13; since then, we have always had a lab as a family pet and we have taken care of countless other breeds. About my yard We have a fenced back yard--it is a 6 foot fence around the perimeter with a 5 foot chain link fence between our yard and our friendly neighbor's yard. There is an open area where the dogs can roam freely, a concrete patio, and a vegetable garden that lines one side of the house between our yard and our neighbor's yard. Dogs are supervised by an adult when they are in our yard--we do not leave them unattended. The majority of your dog's outdoor time will be spent on walks and outings. I am a teacher, so I have weekends and holidays off. In addition, I have 2 young adults and a teen living with me who often help by cuddling and playing with our clients. We do not crate our clients unless upon request. Dogs are free to lounge on beds or furniture. No dog likes to be left behind, but we will do our very best to ease your pup's stress. I have over many years of pet boarding and training experience.

Yimei went above and beyond when she watched our American Bully. Our dog is shy and timid when walking. We booked Yimei for 3 drop-in visits per day for 6 days. Yimei was able to get our bully exercise for the full hour and also give her oral meds and ear wash. Will book again!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Tinsley to take care of our dogs. She started walking and looking after our four-year-old Goldendoodle, Stella, and our new Bernedoodle puppy, Harper. From day one, it was clear that Tinsley genuinely loves dogs and treats them as if they were her own. Stella and Harper both adore her, and Tinsley has been wonderful in helping Harper adjust as a young puppy. She is reliable, attentive, caring, and always keeps us updated on how the dogs are doing. It gives us such peace of mind knowing our dogs are in the hands of someone who truly cares about their happiness and well-being. We highly recommend Tinsley to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker. Stella and Harper are always excited to see her, and that says everything!

Mae was great with Legacy. She handled six drop-ins over three days, sent photo updates, and made it easy to feel comfortable while I was away. Legacy seemed calm and content when I got home, which is exactly what you hope for. I also really appreciated that Mae took the time to walk Legacy during her visits. Legacy is a big dog and can be a little more challenging because of her past trauma, but Mae handled her great I’d absolutely book Mae again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely good with dogs.

Our 6 month old puppy cuddled up with Revan after only a few minutes and I was convinced she really is the dog whisperer. Our cat came out to see her too! It's very rare that our cat comes out when a new person is in the house. We are excited to have Revan housesit next month and know our babies will be in the best possible care.

Anusha took great care of my pug Maui while I was away for the weekend, and I really appreciated the updates and attention she gave him. It gave me peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. Maui was happy and well cared for. I would definitely use her again in the future and recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter!

The best pet sitter. Rosy literally just saved my cat’s life, when she noticed he was not his usual self, took him to the vet, where they identified he had a urinary blockage and likely just hours to live. How lucky for us that Rosy was caring for our animals and so observant. Thank you, forever. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Absolutely recommend Rebeca! You can tell she really cares about dogs and loves what she does. My dog Snoopy has anxiety & is very shy at first but he felt at ease with her as soon as he met her during the meet and greet. She was so gentle, patient & sweet with him right away. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such caring hands. I will def be booking with her again!

Emily has been taking care of our giant golden retriever puppy for us for some time and she’s the absolute best. Blue is such a happy boy when he gets to see Emily! He gets extra excited and playful and loves to snuggle with her. For me, when Emily is taking care of Blue, I have total peace of mind knowing he’s in the best of hands!

I appreciate the last minute Request to walk Nitro.. you went over and beyond I feel with coming for a drop-in-turned walk and drop off to PetSmart for grooming, so I just wanna thank you for that. I couldn’t get off work to take him and I was sent off by someone, so appreciate ya and will be hitting you up again.
