About: From zoos to animal shelters to animal hospitals, I’ve worked with all animals and I just can’t get enough with them! Whatever your pets needs, basic and specials, they will be in good hands with my excellent service, attention to detail, and reliability. I split time between the Evanston/Wilmette area and Des Plaines so let me know what you need and I’ll let you know if it’s feasible depending on the service! I work full time at an animal hospital. I rotate Saturdays and Mondays, working a morning shift one day and the other off. T-FR full 8 hour days. I have had plenty of success in petsitting with this schedule. If the gig is close enough to work, I can do a midday visit. If the gig is farther from work, then I will not do a midday visit. Keep this in mind when booking if your dogs need three walks a day. I stay overnight no problem! With dog walking or pet checkins, I will do them whenever fits with my schedule! Evenings and weekends are pretty much open. I make sure to keep a very clean space so that pets can’t get into anything, and I leave your home looking as though no one was even there. I always double check doors and fences and gates. I do like to brainstorm pet-safe enrichment for them too (comes from my zoo background). I keep their food and water bowls clean, and for dogs we do a lot of walks. 3-4 a day. If allowed, I like to take dogs for field trips like to forest preserves and dog beaches for extra exercise and a change of scenery. For nervous cats, I let them come to me. Normally with time they get a little more comfortable but I won’t force it. I send lots of video and photo updates to pet owners.

About: I'm attentive, detail-oriented, and generous with love and affection for all dogs I have the privilege to take care of. I have experience helping my family take care of our beloved dachshunds throughout my childhood (3 over the course of my life). I also have dog-sat for numerous families back when I lived in Minneapolis. I'm a dog lover through and through. I'm a busy grad student at Northwestern, so I can't have a dog of my own right now. Pet-sitting allows me to fulfill that desire for puppy cuddles when it fits my schedule! I have classes during the day and club activities at night, but lots of flexibility in my schedule to drive to pet sitting appointments. I would prefer to take care of dogs in their homes and go for walks in their neighborhood rather than stay in my small studio apartment. This makes the dog feel safe in their space. I am dedicated towards making dogs feel comfortable with me by following their existing routines and spending as much time as I can with them.

About: I grew up with a Bernese Mountain Dog and have watched/walked countless dogs throughout my 24yrs of life. From energetic to mellow, introverted to extroverted, and aggressive to gentle. I have always been able to breakthrough and bring out the sweethearts they are! I have experience working with mistreated Pit Bulls during my time in college. On top of that, I spent a summer volunteering in a dog van bathing service. Plain and simple, I have spent a lot of time with dogs! I truly love them and think they are all wonderful with the proper care and affection! Pet care is my primary focus as of now. Willing and able to work whenever possible! I recently graduated from Colorado State and will be attending Northwestern for my masters in the fall. Until then, I will be dog walking/sitting. I look forward to working with you all! I first assure the dog feels safe and comfortable. Time is needed in order to let them become so. Secondly, I make sure simple needs are met: water, food, bathroom. It is all about being aware and open to a dog’s subtle gestures. The right environment is crucial to set the tone and mood of the dog! In my care, I hope to make every dog feel safe and loved!

About: I have had a 3 dogs over the course of my life and 1 in college with my housemates. I have also cared for my senior dog when she was terminal for a year which gave me a lot of different experiences than usual animal care. I treat every dog I see on the street like my own and always stop for pets! I am currently a nursing student looking to make extra money. The program is online so I am available often to help out with whatever you need. I understand how to do the feeding schedules, walking schedules, and daily updates for parents as I take care of my dog at home some days for my parents as well. I can easily crate your dog if needed or help with feeding. I am great at following instructions and will respect your animal and your home accordingly!

About: Worried that your fury babies won’t get enough attention they deserve? I only accept bookings from one family at a time to make sure your babies receive all the attention and care in the world! Before joining Rover I have built multiple long-term relationships with many paw babies and pet owners like you. I’m excited to share my love for animals through looking after your babies when you are busy. I have experiences taking care of puppies and senior dogs and can also administer medication. I have a dog of my own, named North and I am open to any special requests regarding your paw baby🩷 I mostly work from home, I go to work once or twice a week in person but either me or my partner will always be available. So your paw babies are never left alone. I typically give walks 4-5 times a day, and make sure your paw babies are well taken care of. :) I live in an apartment and have a bunch of parks and dog beaches at walking distance from my apartment. I enjoy taking dogs on walks and watch them explore the area. Seeing how happy they are really makes my day! My apartment requires two doors to enter or leave the building so your babies will for sure be safe. If that’s not enough, I also keep my doors locked at all times!

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and lizards. I have worked at an animal sanctuary, I have worked with disabled animals, and will give your pet the attention and love they deserve. I just graduated from the university of Vermont with a bachelor's degree in philosophy, I am taking a few months off of my regular 9 - 5 to take time for myself so I have a very open schedule. There is no time too early or too late for me to come help, just let me know what works best for you and your animal. I will feed, play with, walk, and spend time with your animal to make sure that they feel loved and cared for. I have no problem staying the night if your animal gets anxious without people around or making multiple visits within a single day.

About: Ever since I was a child, I have had a passion for dogs and animals of all sorts. Growing up in the Philippines, my relatives found it strange to have such compassion for animals. I'd always begged my parents for a dog while doing avid research and volunteering at pet-related jobs to prepare myself if my dream was to come true. When I was 17, my parents finally agreed to get a dog-- but not just any dog. I wanted my dream dog: an Alaskan Malamute. Huge, stubborn, and a daily shedder, it was a huge challenge I took on myself. However, this Malamute was well trained, house-broken, and friendly. I believe I can take care of a dog of any size, temperament, or history. I am a graduate from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Sociology. I volunteered at the Chicago Canine Rescue downtown where we play and walk with shelter dogs. I have copious experience with boarding, walking, and overall loving dogs. As a past dog boarder, I understand the care and attention that must be given to a pup to create a trusting bond with them. I adhere as closely as possible to the pet’s existing schedule— routine is key! Other than that, if you are comfortable with it, I can take your dog on forest walks, dog parks (only if you’d like, and with ample supervision), or on play dates with my own well-socialized dogs!

About: Growing up I have always had 3 cats at home and have pet sitted for a little over 5 years! My clients have had a mix of dogs and cats so I have experience with both! I can do drop-in visits in the mornings and evenings to feed them, walk them, etc. But the time frame can vary depending on the pets needs and my work schedule I feed them, play with them, walk them, and change the litter boxes (cats). If any more care is required you can text me if needed!

About: I’ve been around cats my entire life, so building trust and connecting with them comes naturally to me. I also gained experience dog sitting for neighbors when I was younger, which helped me develop a strong sense of responsibility and attentiveness when caring for pets. Today, I occasionally volunteer at Tails Together Animal Shelter, where my love for animals continues to grow. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or simply providing companionship, I’m committed to making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. My schedule is very flexible. I’m an honors student at Depaul on summer break. I’m available to work as early as 8 AM and as late as 10 PM. I have reliable transportation and have always taken being on time seriously. I’ll come to your home and follow any instructions you have for taking care of your babies! I’m organized and neat and understand that cleaning up after pets is part of the deal.

About: I’ve always had a love for cats since I was 9 my family has always had pets. They bring me so much joy and happiness. I’m currently working from home I’ve been thinking of cat sitting for a while and what better time then NOW! To spend and love fur babies! FYI! When house sitting I do not stay at the residence I do pop in visits for 1hr twice a day. Thank you. I have a back room solely for my cats and yours! Where they have access to cat toys comforting and food. They can also always bunk with me to feel safe and comfortable.

About: I've taken care of pets since I was in middle school— cats, dogs, turtles, lizards; the whole lot. I grew up with a cat and a dog, both of whom have passed, and now have a new dog who is a ball of energy! This past summer, I worked on a horse farm in Greece for a month where I honed my animal behavior recognition skills; I worked with two reactive farm dogs and earned their trust very quickly. I'm fairly athletic and enjoy long walks/runs with dogs, and if dogs could speak English, I'm sure they would give me glowing reviews about my tug-of-war and Frisbee skills. I'm assertive and friendly with dogs, gentle with cats. I'd love to meet your furry/hairy friends! I have administered pills to my dogs normally and clandestinely (with cream cheese, peanut butter), have wiped ears/muddy paws, bathed, etc. I'm pretty comfortable and experienced with most aspects of dog care and will let you know if there's something I don't know how to do. I work at ETHS, so I'm unavailable from 7:30-4pm every weekday starting in August. I also coach basketball during weeknights Tu/Th evenings. I might be able to do a walk or play session on my lunch break if you are close enough to the high school-- message me and we can work this out! Weekends are best for me but I'm pretty flexible! Communication is my upmost priority as I provide frequent updates with photos/videos. I will take plenty of pics/videos of your pets to show you how safe and happy your pets are in my care to give you peace of mind!

About: I am a dog mom of one, but have had dogs my entire life. My dog Moose is deaf and lives with MG, so I have practice with special needs dog. I have experience with dog walks, dog drop-ins, as well as long and short term experience with dog sitting. When working with dogs, I love them as much as I love my own. I know they might be a little nervous having someone new in their home, or taking them on a walk, so I take it as slowly and calmly as they need. In the end, I would want only the best for my dog, so I plan on doing the same for yours. I’m currently working a job where I have to be at work 8-4 OR 9-5 depending on the day! Depending on location, I can bop over for a lunch break to let the dog out if they need some extra love in between! I welcome dogs in so they feel at home. With my dog, we allow him on the furniture and he sleeps in our bed. We also respect if that is not the standard for your dog, and will follow whatever rules you feel most comfortable with. I live in an apartment in a gated community with 2 dog parks and lots of room to walk around and explore.

About: Active in the outdoors, and attentive to dogs' behaviors, I'm a caring listener who will make sure your dog has a great time! As a dog owner, I've been through training with the Humane Society for Dog Manors 1 & 2. I understand dog body language communication, and know its important to listen to what your dog is saying! Whether they are fearful, playful, bored, sad or joyful - I'll make sure they are taken care of with love and understanding. I"m all about paws-ative reinforcement! I love to run and play outside whenever possible. I would love to take your pup to the beach, park, or just around the block for some fresh air! I'll make sure to send you plenty of pics to make you feel part of the pack! I've had the comfort of experiencing life with dogs throughout my life and I appreciate how much joy they bring to our lives. I'll always make sure to bring a bit of fun to their day as well :-)
