About: Hi! I’ve been a lifelong animal lover, and I’ve had pets all my life — so I know how much pets mean to their families. My girlfriend introduced me to Rover, and since then, I’ve been all in. I currently walk up to 10 dogs a day and board around 2 dogs each month, and I truly enjoy every minute of it. About: I have owned and loved dogs my entire life. I've had Labs (I currently have a Golden/Lab mix named Joey! He has ALL of the Golden retriever energy), Greyhounds (RIP sweet Gloria and Cougar!), Austrailian shepherds, and German shepherds as my own and/or family pets, and am very comfortable with high energy, big breeds. I love giving extra smart dogs some fun mental challenges to keep them occupied, and of course am happy to rub bellies for as long as the dog requests. I love the high energy and silly quirks of smaller dog breeds too! I've house sat and cared for animals off and on for over a decade, but have just recently reactivated my Rover profile and am looking to accept new clients. I work part time as a yoga instructor, and homeschool my kiddos. My schedule is VERY flexible, and I am often able to pick up day-of requests. I've a Type-A scheduler too though, so I love some advanced notice! I can't imagine my life without pets and feel strongly that a home just doesn't feel like a home without pets. I will treat your pets just like a family member, because that's exactly who they are! I love specific requests, and accomodating exactly what your pet is used to so they don't feel lonely or confused.

About: Ever since I was a child, I have had a passion for dogs and animals of all sorts. Growing up in the Philippines, my relatives found it strange to have such compassion for animals. I'd always begged my parents for a dog while doing avid research and volunteering at pet-related jobs to prepare myself if my dream was to come true. When I was 17, my parents finally agreed to get a dog-- but not just any dog. I wanted my dream dog: an Alaskan Malamute. Huge, stubborn, and a daily shedder, it was a huge challenge I took on myself. However, this Malamute was well trained, house-broken, and friendly. I believe I can take care of a dog of any size, temperament, or history. I am a graduate from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Sociology. I volunteered at the Chicago Canine Rescue downtown where we play and walk with shelter dogs. I have copious experience with boarding, walking, and overall loving dogs. As a past dog boarder, I understand the care and attention that must be given to a pup to create a trusting bond with them. I adhere as closely as possible to the pet’s existing schedule— routine is key! Other than that, if you are comfortable with it, I can take your dog on forest walks, dog parks (only if you’d like, and with ample supervision), or on play dates with my own well-socialized dogs!

I have been around all sorts of animals my whole life and I am also very dedicated to any job that comes my way. Not only will I be great company for your pet, but I will also work my hardest. I have been around animals my whole life, from dogs to horses, so bonding with animals is very easy for me. About: Going out of town? Your dog will love our friendly Evanston home located near Lake Michigan beaches and forest preserves. We provide weekly adventures such as trips to the dog beach and pooch park, walks in the neighborhood, playtime in our fenced in backyard, and lots of love and attention. Why I love dog sitting I have had dogs in my family since I was born. I grew up in rural areas in the Midwest, and we always had at least one family dog of varying breeds. When I became an adult, I got a black lab puppy from my sister, who had rescued its mother while it was pregnant. I became very interested in dog training, reading any books I could get my hands on and applying their techniques. My lab, Asia, became the gentlest, most well-trained dog most people had ever met. We lost her at age 13; since then, we have always had a lab as a family pet and we have taken care of countless other breeds. About my yard We have a fenced back yard--it is a 6 foot fence around the perimeter with a 5 foot chain link fence between our yard and our friendly neighbor's yard. There is an open area where the dogs can roam freely, a concrete patio, and a vegetable garden that lines one side of the house between our yard and our neighbor's yard. Dogs are supervised by an adult when they are in our yard--we do not leave them unattended. The majority of your dog's outdoor time will be spent on walks and outings. I am a teacher, so I have weekends and holidays off. In addition, I have 2 young adults and a teen living with me who often help by cuddling and playing with our clients. We do not crate our clients unless upon request. Dogs are free to lounge on beds or furniture. No dog likes to be left behind, but we will do our very best to ease your pup's stress. I have over many years of pet boarding and training experience.

About: I have always had pets of every size. From small cats to large livestock, I can provide care for all types of pets no matter the kind or size. You can be sure your pets are in the care of someone who has seen it all, and loves them all I am currently between jobs, which means I am well suited to accommodate most schedules. After 9am works best if you are further than walking distance, but arrangements can be made. I have one small cat that gets along well with other animals. When taking care of others pets, I treat them with the same care I give my own. I will follow any rules or requests the owner has for their pets and provide for them to the best of my ability.
