I walk my dog twice daily. one in the morning at 9ish-10ish and in the afternoon at 6-7pm. Outside of that schedule, I'm free on most days.

Every pet owner has their own set up. Whether it'll be walks and feeding schedules, naps, or play-time. What I do best is follow the client's instructions and stay connected to the pet so he/she wont feel alone. I can give them space but I wont be too far away.

I'd like to know the dog's personality, walk length preference, sociability/friendliness to strangers and other dogs, and demeanor during walks. Also, their size and weight are important to know and if they are food motivated and/or trying to diet. allergies. And lastly, if they have special needs.
A typical day
It really depends on the dog. If its a quiet and reserved dog, I'd like to take it to Lee st beach and sit by the benches and relax with a soft breeze. If its an active/outgoing dog we can go to Elliot park, garden park, or Baker park to throw a ball around or a frisbee.

Pet care experience
I've worked with a shelter back home. It was difficult work since it was poorly funded. I mostly helped sourcing funds for the shelter. My dog was very sick when we got him. He was diagnosed with parvo and distemper after 2 weeks of getting him. We took him to the vet and nursed him until he got better. I didn't sleep all night while watching over him the first few days before confinement and immediately after. I've cared for him for three years now. He's a healthy and happy dog. I've trained him and worked with his issues. He's a frustrated greeter probably because we didn't see another dog for months at a time during his puppy years due to covid. But he has made a ton of progress, he can now pay attention to me instead of barking at other dogs he can't say hello to. We still have a lot of work to do but we continue progressing every day. I believe I can care for and show your pet the love and attention that they deserve because that's what I provide my dog every day.

Gab has looked after my cat twice now and was great both times. He's careful and follows directions closely--especially when it comes to medication. He's also gentle and patient enough to get my shy cat out for some pets. Excellent sitter.
