About: I have had a 3 dogs over the course of my life and 1 in college with my housemates. I have also cared for my senior dog when she was terminal for a year which gave me a lot of different experiences than usual animal care. I treat every dog I see on the street like my own and always stop for pets! I am currently a nursing student looking to make extra money. The program is online so I am available often to help out with whatever you need. I understand how to do the feeding schedules, walking schedules, and daily updates for parents as I take care of my dog at home some days for my parents as well. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, mostly chihuahuas and rescues, so I’m very comfortable with pups who need a little extra patience, reassurance, or understanding. My hands-on experience goes far beyond casual pet care. At Miami University, I was part of Paws for a Cause, where we helped train dogs to prepare them for working with children or future companion roles. This gave me a strong foundation in obedience training, reading body language, and supporting dogs with different temperaments. More recently, I’ve been volunteering with the Evanston Animal Shelter, working with dogs who have a wide range of behaviors and needs. There, I’ve assisted with medication administration, training sessions, enrichment, and helping nervous or high-energy dogs feel more comfortable and confident. I’m also on a path toward becoming a Physician Assistant, which adds to my calm, attentive, and health-focused approach. Your pet will be treated with patience, structure, and plenty of affection. I work full-time as a medical scribe during the day (9–5), so evenings, weekends, and holidays are when I’m most available for pet care. During those times, I’m fully focused on your pet’s needs—whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. My schedule outside of work is very flexible, so I can reliably fit in consistent visits or longer stays. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walk times, crate routines, and any training cues you use. I take time to get to know your pet’s personality, comfort level, and boundaries so they feel safe and relaxed. I provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and calm companionship, and I always keep water fresh, watch for behavior changes, and send regular updates so you feel connected. If I’m hosting in my home (or doing extended stays), I make sure pets have a quiet, clean space to settle in, regular potty breaks, structured playtime, and a consistent routine. Safety is a top priority, doors secured, no access to anything unsafe, and lots of supervised time. Since then, in my multi-dog household, I have successfully cared for, trained, and housebroken puppies as well as cared for senior dogs. About: I've spent 2 years walking shelter dogs of every temperament, including dogs reactive to people or other dogs, so I stay calm and confident on leash even in tricky situations. I read body language well, and I'm not squeamish about the harder stuff, whether that's an anxious pup or a tricky handoff. I also own two cats of my own, so animals are part of my everyday life, not just a job. My schedule is really flexible right now, so I can usually say yes to walks, drop-ins, and cat visits, even on shorter notice. I live right in the building, so quick visits are easy to fit in (no commute, no stress!). I'm also happy to do recurring weekly bookings if a routine works better for your pet. In your home, I follow your routine exactly as given, feeding times, meds, and any specific instructions, so nothing feels disrupted while you're away. I lock up carefully and leave things as I found them. With anxious or reactive pets, I move slowly and let them set the pace rather than rushing the interaction, which comes from my shelter experience handling animals in stressful situations.

About: Starting at a young age of 8, I've cared for animals of friends and family. Ranging in all ages of cats and dogs, I'm confident in administering medication if needed and not scared of any sort of clean up. Having just moved back to the Chicagoland area from NOLA, my schedule is flexible. I am available for drop in visits and dog walking! About: Ever since I was a child, I have had a passion for dogs and animals of all sorts. Growing up in the Philippines, my relatives found it strange to have such compassion for animals. I'd always begged my parents for a dog while doing avid research and volunteering at pet-related jobs to prepare myself if my dream was to come true. When I was 17, my parents finally agreed to get a dog-- but not just any dog. I wanted my dream dog: an Alaskan Malamute. Huge, stubborn, and a daily shedder, it was a huge challenge I took on myself. However, this Malamute was well trained, house-broken, and friendly. I believe I can take care of a dog of any size, temperament, or history. I am a graduate from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Sociology. I volunteered at the Chicago Canine Rescue downtown where we play and walk with shelter dogs. I have copious experience with boarding, walking, and overall loving dogs. As a past dog boarder, I understand the care and attention that must be given to a pup to create a trusting bond with them. I adhere as closely as possible to the pet’s existing schedule— routine is key! Other than that, if you are comfortable with it, I can take your dog on forest walks, dog parks (only if you’d like, and with ample supervision), or on play dates with my own well-socialized dogs!

About: My first pets were 2 rats. I took care of them exclusively, bathed them, fed and cleaned up after them. The family cat Simba was mainly my responsibility with occasional help from family, and I would take care of our family dog Bentley when I was home for summers from college. I've helped care for several other animals when babysitting children, and occasionally dog sat overnight for other families over a 3 day weekend period. I've also loved my time volunteering at the local dog shelter where I walk, clean up after, and play with all the dogs up for adoption until they find their forever families. Also enjoyed a 6 week program at a dog shelter in Athens, Greece in 2024! I’m working part and full time depending on the week, but have most availability on weekends and later in the afternoons. About: Growing up I have always had 3 cats at home and have pet sitted for a little over 5 years! My clients have had a mix of dogs and cats so I have experience with both! I can do drop-in visits in the mornings and evenings to feed them, walk them, etc. But the time frame can vary depending on the pets needs and my work schedule I feed them, play with them, walk them, and change the litter boxes (cats).
