“Kristina was great - a real professional! She took wonderful care of our senior dog, sending lots of pictures and updates every day. Jilly came back a very happy lady and we wouldn't hesitate to have her stay with Kristina again.”
“The absolute best! We do not live close to Kimberly but the level of care and love she and her family give to both our babies makes the travel absolutely worth it. She makes our pets apart of her family and they absolutely adore staying with Kim. Highly recommended!”

“Jeff and Ron took care of our standard, 4 1/2 year old Bernedoodle. It was our first time leaving her and we were cautious in who we chose to care for her. Jeff. And Ron lived up to their highly rated reviews! We set up a meet and greet and also decided to have our pup spend a day with them before leaving on our 4 day getaway. Jeff’s friendly demeanor with us and our pup put our minds at ease. We felt comfortable knowing our dog was in good hands!”

“Simply the best! My husband jokes that our pup doesn’t want to come home when she stays with Laura and Vladimir and it may not be a joke! We love having Olive stay there because we know she is safe and well taken care of!”

“Noor and her family did a wonderful job with our cat Tabby while we were on vacation! She sent us frequent updates about how Tabby was doing and made a great effort to become friends with her. Definitely would book with them again, and would recommend!”

“Naomi was great!! She was very prepared and ready to learn about and to care for our dogs just the way they needed. Our dogs had the best time taking long walks, lounging, and looking out the big window. She took the time to introduce our dogs and Milo and they became great friends. The house was quiet, very clean, and perfect for our dogs. We loved seeing the daily photos while we were traveling. Definitely would recommend!”

“Nancyanne was a terrific sitter, her house is amazing and I had full confidence that she would take great care of my pup on our 7 day vacation. Would recommend her to anyone looking for quality boarding service for their dog.”

“My husband and I went to Japan and it was our first time traveling abroad while owning a dog. I was understandably nervous at the idea of being away from our furry baby, Lexi for an extended length of time, so I wanted to make sure we found the perfect dog sitter! Kazuhiro and Akemi were absolutely wonderful! They kept us updated everyday with pictures and videos and always responded to my texts. Lexi went on several long walks everyday and received lots of attention and affection. When we travel again, we will definitely be using Kazuhiro's and Akemi's services! Thanks again for everything!”

“My two dogs have differing personalities, one of them is very cautious around new people. Cynthia won her over almost immediately! I will definitely rebook when the need arises.”

“Karla did a great job taking care of our dog, Lucky. We’ve only had Lucky for a few months, and as a rescue from Texas, he has a lot of separation anxiety. Karla was very understanding and made him feel relaxed and at home, while also being patient with all of his little foibles. She sent us lots of pictures and videos, which we really appreciated. She also has a great setup for dogs, including a large long condo with plenty of space for running around. We would definitely recommend Karla to others!”

“Deb and Doug were incredible! This was only my second time using Rover and they made me feel very comfortable. They did a great job of learning about what would make Elly most comfortable during her stay. I could tell right away they genuinely cared and were happy to take care of her. I couldn’t recommend them enough!”

“I have complete peace of mind when I leave Chico with Joerg and Lake Z. They are very loving and Chico has a blast when he is with them and Lizzy, the have become great buddies.”

“Ella took great care of our dog Sid! She’s very warm and clearly loves dogs. Communication was excellent, and we really appreciated the photo updates while we were away. Sid was in great hands. Highly recommend!”

“Julia has been wonderful with our dog Clare. Clare seems to have a great time and we appreciate all the pictures and updates! We’ve worked with Julia twice now and will definitely be sending Clare back. Thank you!”

“So happy we found Diane! Our girl was very happy staying with her and we could relax knowing she was well cared for. Diane’s house is very clean and well set up and she has a nice enclosed yard. Diane was always quick with responses and sent photos. We will definitely use her again!”

“Sandra & Sorin and family were amazing. They did everything possible to help my little Mini Schnauzer feel comfortable and part of the family. Pepper was confused when we dropped her off, but they gave her lots of comfort. Pepper was glad to see us, but not desperate like she has been at boarding kennels. We look forward to having Sandra & Sorin take care of her again in their safe, loving home. I highly recommend Sandra & Sorin for excellent, caring dog boarding and daycare.”

“Rico did a great job taking care of our senior rescue dog, Fritz! He sent lots of pictures, was quick to respond when I asked a question, and was very tolerant of Fritz’s quirks . We could tell Fritz was treated like part of the family!”

“We had a great experience with Meghan! Freddy was happy, well cared for, and clearly received lots of attention while we were away. Communication was excellent throughout the stay, and we really appreciated the updates and photos. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands and would happily book again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wilmette
i would give 10 stars if i could! Thao took great care of our puppy and we’ve never seen our dog so happy while away from us. We got so many updates and even with the severe weather that occurred during our dogs stay, Thao ensured our dogs safety and comfort! We are extremely grateful for Thao’s expertise and support and would 100% trust her for another stay in the future!

Ella and Sidney took great care of my dog Sugar! They kept me up to date with photos and text messages for the 3 nights they had her. It’s always a little nerve racking leaving your baby in someone else care that you don’t know and someone your pup doesn’t know either, but it was all good. Thanks again Ella & Sidney !!

Coconut had such a fun time with Claire and Sushi! She went to Claire’s house two different times so far and she was sooo excited to get back there!! She also learned better behavior from Sushi and Claire even trained Coconut to do a few different tricks. Thanks so much Claire !! :)

Jennifer took care of our exuberant shepherd mix for a week while we were out of town. She was always communicative and flexible with dropoff and pickup. We never had any worries and he always is excited to visit Jennifer. We will definitely book with her again. Thank you, Jennifer!

Both we (the humans) AND our dog loved Mackenzie! She was kind, communicative, and so caring towards our senior dog who stayed with her over New Year’s. We loved her regular updates, including photos and videos, and it was clear that my dog wanted to stay longer when I came to get him! 11 out of 10 stars, recommend with gusto!

We used to leave our dog at a large dog boarding place when traveling, and she would be grouped with so many different dogs that I can tell she was traumatized and often took days to be back to her normal carefree self (and she would have dog drooling all over her). This time under Nancyanne’s care our dog was able to stick to a routine similar to at home, and I can tell she was quite comfortable and after 9 days it was seamless that her demeanor was like she never left home. We would happily recommend Nancyanne to anyone who needs help.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
