“Thao took great care of Murphy and Macy during my 3 night trip. She communicated well during both pick up and drop off - took the dogs to the park without me asking (which I so appreciated) - and they came back very happy. I'd gladly use Thao again when schedule align! THANK YOU! Murphy, Macy and Kyle”

“Jeff and Ron took care of our standard, 4 1/2 year old Bernedoodle. It was our first time leaving her and we were cautious in who we chose to care for her. Jeff. And Ron lived up to their highly rated reviews! We set up a meet and greet and also decided to have our pup spend a day with them before leaving on our 4 day getaway. Jeff’s friendly demeanor with us and our pup put our minds at ease. We felt comfortable knowing our dog was in good hands!”

“Poko had a wonderful time with Noor and her family! I received daily pic/video updates which I really appreciated. They are super attentive to detail as well. Highly recommend!”

“This was our first time using Nancyanne . We have a small Yorky that’s mostly blind and she took great care of her! I can always tell when things don’t go well as our dog comes back depressed. Harlie was happy go lucky upon return. We will be using NancyAnne again.”

“Karla did a great job taking care of our dog, Lucky. We’ve only had Lucky for a few months, and as a rescue from Texas, he has a lot of separation anxiety. Karla was very understanding and made him feel relaxed and at home, while also being patient with all of his little foibles. She sent us lots of pictures and videos, which we really appreciated. She also has a great setup for dogs, including a large long condo with plenty of space for running around. We would definitely recommend Karla to others!”

“We were thrilled with Rosie's stay with Ella. From the moment we arrived and Ella showed us around, Rosie felt so comfortable. She was welcomed to explore the apartment and snuggle into the sofa. Ella sent several updates with photos and we felt very confident Rosie was being well cared for - with much time for play and walks. We will definitely book with Ella again.”

“Sandra & Sorin and family were amazing. They did everything possible to help my little Mini Schnauzer feel comfortable and part of the family. Pepper was confused when we dropped her off, but they gave her lots of comfort. Pepper was glad to see us, but not desperate like she has been at boarding kennels. We look forward to having Sandra & Sorin take care of her again in their safe, loving home. I highly recommend Sandra & Sorin for excellent, caring dog boarding and daycare.”

I’d highly recommend him if you’re looking for someone to take great care of your dog.”

“Andrew stayed in our home for a week He took good care of the litter boxes snd was respectful of the space. His very laid back, “chill” demeanor was perfect for our 2 cats. Andrew was very also observant and in tune with their needs and moods. He contacted me on a regular basis and sent me photos of his little charges. We intend to use his services again and highly recommended him to anyone in need of a cat sitter.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, mostly chihuahuas and rescues, so I’m very comfortable with pups who need a little extra patience, reassurance, or understanding. My hands-on experience goes far beyond casual pet care. At Miami University, I was part of Paws for a Cause, where we helped train dogs to prepare them for working with children or future companion roles. This gave me a strong foundation in obedience training, reading body language, and supporting dogs with different temperaments. More recently, I’ve been volunteering with the Evanston Animal Shelter, working with dogs who have a wide range of behaviors and needs. There, I’ve assisted with medication administration, training sessions, enrichment, and helping nervous or high-energy dogs feel more comfortable and confident. I’m also on a path toward becoming a Physician Assistant, which adds to my calm, attentive, and health-focused approach. I’m comfortable managing routines, monitoring for changes, and making sure each dog feels safe and cared for. Overall, I bring a mix of lifelong experience, formal training exposure, shelter work, and genuine love for dogs of all personalities. Your pet will be treated with patience, structure, and plenty of affection. I work full-time as a medical scribe during the day (9–5), so evenings, weekends, and holidays are when I’m most available for pet care. During those times, I’m fully focused on your pet’s needs—whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. My schedule outside of work is very flexible, so I can reliably fit in consistent visits or longer stays. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walk times, crate routines, and any training cues you use. I take time to get to know your pet’s personality, comfort level, and boundaries so they feel safe and relaxed. I provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and calm companionship, and I always keep water fresh, watch for behavior changes, and send regular updates so you feel connected. If I’m hosting in my home (or doing extended stays), I make sure pets have a quiet, clean space to settle in, regular potty breaks, structured playtime, and a consistent routine. Safety is a top priority, doors secured, no access to anything unsafe, and lots of supervised time. Whether I’m in your home or mine, your pet gets patient, reliable care with the goal of making them feel comfortable, understood, and well-loved.
“Ella was a terrific sitter for our daughter's one year old cat while we were out of town for our son's graduation ceremony. She sent messages to keep us posted on his stay with her through the weekend. We definitely recommend her services.”

“Absolutely recommend Rebeca! You can tell she really cares about dogs and loves what she does. My dog Snoopy has anxiety & is very shy at first but he felt at ease with her as soon as he met her during the meet and greet. She was so gentle, patient & sweet with him right away. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such caring hands. I will def be booking with her again!”

“Wonderful cat sitter! I have two very sweet adult cats -- one elderly (15+yo) with diabetes and "kitty" dementia that requires a medicine pill be crushed and mixed with enticing catt slurry and watched to ensure he eats it. Shailyn immediately understood the assignment and did exactly what was required and more without prompting. She cleaned up the old cat's outside-the-litter-box accident without pause and let me know exactly when she was arriving and leaving so I could remotely set house security. Everything was perfect when I arrived home -- and both cats seemed happy and not depressed like they sometimes have when I've been out for 48 hours and someone simply steps in to feed them. Shailyn spent quality "petting" time with them as well. With old and sick cats, you can't be too careful or you'll regret it. I'll definitely rebook Shailyn next time I'll be out of town. Thanks again, Shailyn!”
“Isabella has been wonderful and adapted to my flight changes during the government shutdown. She took get care of my fur baby and will definitely be using her in the future!!!”

“Thank you, Rosy! I didn’t know if I’d be able to find anyone other than a family member that I could trust with my cat that has some major health issues, but thank goodness I found Rosy! She literally kept my cat alive by making sure she had enough fluids throughout the day for several days by consistently replenishing her wet food and adding water. She was also able to administer medication to my cat with confidence, and my cat is not open to people giving her meds! Rosy also helped with our dog, which ended up being way more a handful than I realized. He had an upset stomach and d diarrhea all over the place in the house and Rosy cleaned up everything. She also kept me abreast of everything happening and stayed up really late with my dog to let him out to go to the bathroom when he was sick.”

“Julia was fantastic- very flexible, eager to help in any way, and clearly actually played with the cats and gave them affection. We felt at ease knowing they were in good hands. We’d highly recommend Julia and will use her again any time we need a sitter.”

“Yimei was GREAT. Highly recommend. She went above and beyond taking care of Lucy, my 15 year old very needy cat! Lucy was very well taken care of. Yimei also communicated promptly after every visit.”

I’m currently a college student working towards a career in wildlife rehabilitation, hoping to continue caring for animals. I am experienced with pets of all ages and can ensure that your pets will not only be safe and cared for, but loved and cherished as my own!
“Michelle did a great job checking on my cat! She kept me updated throughout with pictures and details on her overall health and demeanor. She must be a cat whisperer because she was able to befriend my shy kitty by the end of a few days!”

“Coty is marvelous, she took time getting to know Zeusie. She was so loving with him, it was wonderful to come home to find him so happy and relaxed. What a relief! I could not be any happier with Coty. Now I just have to figure out a way to clone her!”

“Our long time sitter is moving out of the area and we were so concerned that we would never find someone as comparable and we did. Lee and Niv are awesome, caring and we feel completely confident leaving our little Jack with rhem”

“If you need a reliable, flexible, and kind pet sitter, look no further than Rebeca. She took my pups on short notice and didn't blink an eye when I realized I had accidentally booked a 2-hour visit instead of 14 hours. She was happy to keep them the whole day, communicated proactively with fun updates and photos, and gave them access to a massive fenced-in yard that they absolutely loved. She made a stressful booking mistake completely stress-free. Thank you, Rebeca!”

“Leo had such a great time with Kaz and Akemi for daycare! Played, walked, and enjoyed access to the backyard without a leash (we don’t have a fenced yard like they do). They sent me photos and videos throughout the day to show all the fun Leo was having. Leo will be so excited to board there next week! Thank you both for your great care!”

“Whitney was super responsive when I was trying to complete my booking with her. Leo had a blast at her place. Whitney took him to the dog park, he played with her dog and kid as well. He had so much fun, he was completely knocked out after coming out for the rest of the evening! Will definitely be taking Leo back to Whitney!”

“We were very satisfied with our dog's stay with Karin and her family. She was very responsive to messages, flexible with times, and accommodating of our dog's needs. She sent plenty of photos and we could see that he was having fun and being well cared for. We would definitely book them again.”

“Claire is a standout. She communicates timely and effectively, is polite and professional, organized and most importantly she is incredible with dogs. Claire documented walks including duration, route and distance, and meals including time, amount of food eaten by each dog. Her feedback on my dogs' personality traits was spot on as well, demonstrating her care and attention. I would wholeheartedly recommend Claire to anyone in need of a trustworthy sitter. THANK YOU, CLAIRE!”

“Naomi & Johann J. will always be our 1st choice to watch Javy whenever we need to leave him with anyone. They sent many photos and reassuring messages about Javy’s eating all of his food…he wouldn’t have eaten anything, had he been stressed about being there. Wonderful pup watchers!”

“I can’t say enough about how impressed I was with the care my dog received. As a first-time Rover user, I was very hesitant and nervous about leaving Rizzo with someone new. Both sitters immediately put me at ease by taking the time to meet Rizzo beforehand and allowing us to visit their home before his stay. Throughout the visit, they consistently sent photos, videos, and updates, which gave me complete peace of mind and allowed me to fully enjoy my time away. Their communication was excellent, and it was clear that they genuinely cared about Rizzo’s happiness and well-being. Rizzo came home happy and well cared for, and I truly appreciated how accommodating and attentive they were. I’ve already booked them again for another stay and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and compassionate pet sitters.”

Communication was excellent throughout the stay, and we really appreciated the updates and photos. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in such good hands and would happily book again.”

“This was our first time using Rover for boarding and I’m so glad we found Michelle. We did an initial meet and greet and she mentioned was well experienced with handling puppies. She’s gone through training and works for a vet. I was worried because our 7 month puppy can be jumpy and overly excited, but still learning and training and overall a good dog. Michelle had no worries caring for him after that meet and greet. Michelle was extra communicative throughout boarding and sending updates and photos. Our pup Hank seemed to love boarding, her pup and senior dog, and son. We love how our puppy got extra socialization time in and playtime with her puppy. Loki her puppy vibed well with our dog. Overall highly recommend Michelle for boarding and will be our go to for any future needs.”

“Hannah was amazing with our 9‑month‑old puppy, Romeo! She took such good care of him, made sure he was fed on time, and went out of her way to keep him comfortable and happy while we were gone. She kept sending us the cutest pics and videos, which really helped us relax on our trip. Romeo clearly had the best time with her, and we’ll definitely be booking her again every time we need boarding for Romeo. Highly recommend her to any friends looking for a super sweet and reliable pet sitter!”

“Lauren and her family took such good care of our dog Sawyer! This was our first time being away from our puppy so we were worried she was going to be scared, but she had so much fun playing with their dog Zoe while we were away. Lauren sent us pictures everyday to let us know how she was doing. By the time we got back, Sawyer was already attached to Lauren, Zoe, and the rest of the family.”

“Abigail and Chris were wonderful sitters! I was nervous as my dog takes a while to warm up to new people, but I got lots of great photos, and she always looked so comfortable and I knew she was well cared for.”

She is thoughtful, kind, skilled with dogs and cats, and an excellent communicator. Hazel can be reactive to other dogs on walks; Claire was familiar with the ractive dogs and managed it with well. She also messaged us once a day while we were away with details and pictures. We have already booked with Claire again.”
