Highly recommend Emily! :)”

About: I raised my dog Suki from when she was a puppy to when she passed away at age 15. I miss her every day, especially long walks by the forest preserve in my neighborhood and special trips to the Lakeshore. Let me do this with your dog instead! I still work, but I am completely free on weekends. I work on Fridays, but I have a long break mid-day from 10am-1pm (and after 5 of course). I love to go on walks. Your dog and I will spend a lot of time walking unless you tell me they don't want that. If you so, we can use my fenced yard as needed and watch Korean dramas on the couch together. I live on the top floor of a 2-flat with stairs. It was very difficult for my dog Suki to get up and down the stairs at the end of her life, so I am probably not the best fit if your dog has severe mobility issues like Suki did.

About: I currently have a 15 year old shitzu that I raised from a pup, and a 2 year old Pitt mix rescue that I've had for a year. Prior to the shitzu I had a 13 year old Rottweiler that I raised from a pup. I've dogsat for two special needs frenchies from time to time. I am currently unemployed giving me plenty of time to care for your fur baby. Having a very energetic Pitt has given me the opportunity to practice patience as we have learned together how to handle his insecurities.. My yard is fenced in—extra tall if you have a jumper like my pitt. I have 1 small and 2 large crates if your fur baby needs it. I have multiple dog beds and pet-welcome furniture.

About: I have had cats in my family my entire life and dogs in my family since before my tenth birthday. I have helped take care of pets for friends and family for years, including senior animals and pets with special medical needs. I recently completed a year-long fellowship and have ample time available for your pet. I can very likely incorporate your pet into my schedule around you and your pet's needs. I am comfortable around all sizes and ages of dog and cat. I am able to administer medication and meet specialized diets and health needs. As part of my screening, I like to meet your pet once in person.

“Carla has been a great addition to Kali’s circle of friends. She is patient (Kali is a puppy and very energetic) and sweet with her. Kali is always excited to see her. Looking forward to more recurring visits from Carla.”

About: I've had dogs most of my childhood and adult life. Also have been living with cats for 17 years. I adore pets and would love to share my affection for yours. I recently retired and now have time on my hands to help out those pet lovers that love the affections provided by pets but also have obligations that prevent them from giving the time they want to their pets. Let me help you out. I am retired and therefore I am pretty flexible on my time. When I'm available on the schedule that means I am in Chicago. If you are heading out of town or have a long-term day engagement let me know if I can help out. It is not my intention to provide care for pets in my home. I do have a cat and a dog and a yard. I expect to be coming to your home to provide services you may need.

“Jesse is a real sweetie with our cats. She was available and communicative and very caring towards our animals! Thanks Jesse!”

About: Ive always had a uncanny love for dogs and animals! They seem to share it for me as well! Growing up I took care of a few pets at a time including cats and birds! I also spent a few years volunteering at animal Shelters and house-training different dog breeds. I love babying them and getting them hyper. I love all breeds from little tiny chihuahuas *attitude and all* all the way to bullies and big dogs, I understand and can manage breed behaviors. Rest assured I will baby them and buy them snacks! I work on my own schedule on appointments. I start every day at noon until the evening. The morning hours are completely available for walks, as well as evenings for babysitting. I plan on working around my freelance audio schedule. Call me and I will resolve anything, Thank you so much! I have a cozy studio apartment on the north side, immediate access to the Forest Preserve! I like to go on walks and runs as well so they will be joining me! I would always share the same respect to any pup parent's home, as I would to mine. I don't mind being monitored at all.

About: Hello. I've been a dog owner for 30 years and a dog lover forever! I would love to take the stress and worry away from you while you're away by you knowing that your dog is being loved, cared for, pampered, exercised and played with as if s/he was one of my own! My husband and I live in a split-level home in Skokie with a large fenced-in yard. We were privileged to be the owners of two adorable, sweet-natured and friendly female Beagles named Bria and Chloe. Bria was 14 when she passed in 1994, and Chloe recently passed in February of this year. She was almost 16. They were the best! Since I work out of my home, I'm typically there through-out the day, so you never have to worry about your dog being alone. I will always accommodate your dog's unique needs by following your instructions faithfully. I'll keep you updated with photos, texts and emails, if desired, so you'll never have to wonder "What's going on?" Your dog's comfort and your peace of mind are my top priorities. I'd like to develop a long-term service relationship with you and your dog and hope you'll consider me for any of your dog's boarding, walking, or home-visit needs. Please feel free to call me with any questions or concerns. I can't wait to meet you and your beloved pet! Thanks. Jane I have recently retired so that now I have the complete flexibility and freedom throughout the day to meet the needs and requirements of your dog. I have a very dog-friendly home. I have dog beds and water bowls on each floor of my split-level home, a large fenced-in yard and 30 years of having 2 beloved dogs of my own. Your dog will be in the best of hands!

“I lucked out when I found and booked Mira. She was very responsive and on time, took great care of my two cats (including one who needs injections every 12 hours) and kept in constant communication. I would not hesitate to recommend her!”

About: I've loved animals since I was a child. My room was filled with animal posters and an impressive stuffed animal club on my top bunk! I grew up caring for fish, hamsters, bunnies, kittens and several dogs. They were all a part of my beloved family. As an adult, my family has rescued several dogs and a rabbit, providing loving, compassionate care to each one. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have worked in the child welfare field for over 30 years. I've used my trauma informed knowledge to help animals recover from often unknown trauma by providing patient and consistent care to help build trust and promote healing. This concept applies to any family pet that deserves the love and attention they unconditionally give to us. I currently work remote and can easily set up to provide daily pet care from 8am to 7pm in your home where your fur baby is most comfortable. This helps provide consistency and predictability which is so important for new adoptions, rescues and senior dogs. I am confident in using kennels, dog gates, and harnesses to ensure pets are safe from harm while playing, eating and relaxing throughout their day. I am also comfortable setting basic boundaries and reinforcing commands used in your family setting to avoid confusion.
