Pet-sitting is more than just maintenance, it's caring for a loved one, and I have lots of love to give! I work remotely so my schedule can be somewhat flexible when taking the pet's needs into consideration! I can work from your house if need be or swing by periodically throughout the day, whatever works best for the pet. I cat-sit often and I keep the areas under the bed and sofa clean and free of dangerous items since this is where the cats often hide; additionally, I remove access to any small nooks or high areas where it would be difficult to remove the cats.

About: I have had a variety of pets and have cared for a variety of animals (dogs, cats, birds and a turtle). A variety of breeds and ages. I am available most weekdays after 4pm. I am available most Saturdays in the AM and PM. I also am available Sunday afternoons and evenings. I make sure my dog has plenty of food and fresh water throughout the day. I take her outside to go to the bathroom in the morning and right when I come home. I take her on a walk. I play and cuddle with her a lot.

About: I’ve been caring for cats since I was 13, and watching dogs since I was 10! I love all animals, of all sizes and temperaments! I’m currently working about 20 hours a week, so I have plenty of time in the mornings and evenings, as well as Sunday/Monday completely free! My roommates currently foster cats with chronic illnesses, that are kept in their room and away from any possible visitors! We have plenty of space, and lots of access to good walking routes.

About: My first pets were 2 rats. I took care of them exclusively, bathed them, fed and cleaned up after them. The family cat Simba was mainly my responsibility with occasional help from family, and I would take care of our family dog Bentley when I was home for summers from college. I've helped care for several other animals when babysitting children, and occasionally dog sat overnight for other families over a 3 day weekend period. Rosy was great! Both of my cats need pills and one is particularly adept at hiding in general, so we were worried about how he would react. She tried various strategies to get a pill in him, and even though it was unsuccessful in the end, I really appreciated her tenacity. She sent pictures and very reassuring updates after each visit.

I hired Riley at the absolute very last minute and she accommodated me and made sure our three cats were well taken care of. She communicated quickly and politely, and responded to our requests on the fly. We sincerely appreciate her love for animals and will look to hire her first for the next time we travel.
Our 6 month old puppy cuddled up with Revan after only a few minutes and I was convinced she really is the dog whisperer. Our cat came out to see her too! It's very rare that our cat comes out when a new person is in the house. We are excited to have Revan housesit next month and know our babies will be in the best possible care.
