I strive to provide the highest level of care and the highest level of service. In almost five years as a full time cat sitter, I've learned so much from my field work and from all the conscientious cat owners I've worked with! I've worked with cats of all ages, personalities, energy levels and many with chronic illnesses. I try to meet each cat where they're at and tailor my approach and care to their needs. For example, which play style do they prefer, do they need to be observed while they eat, what daily routine works best? I also love working with multiple cat households. It's fun to entertain all of them and worth the extra care to meet each cat's needs! I also emphasize safety, especially with cats who have PICA or eat and chew things they shouldn't. Kittens and other active cats may require additional safety precautions. I'm always happy to do a safety walk-through or toy edit at your complimentary meet and greet. I work with each client to create a customized safety/security end-of-visit checklist for your home. Each visit includes photos and detailed notes. Safety, trust & environment
Basic cat care and socialization: I will feed your cat and take care of their water and litter according to your instructions. I will also engage your cat in play, affection and interaction, if they're in the mood. You will receive notes and photos via Rover cards for each visit. You will also receive a photo of a thorough end of visit checklist for each visit to ensure the safety and security of your cat(s) and home. Home care: I am also happy to get the mail, adjust your thermostat, water plants, etc. so that you have peace of mind while you're away. I will dispose of dirty litter and other trash daily. I will also clean up cat related messes such as hairballs, etc. I am happy to monitor health issues and report my observations about your cat's behavior, feeding, output, etc. In the event of a medical emergency, I will contact you immediately and reach out to Rover's emergency support team. Rover will connect me with a vet tech via phone. Please see the "Rover Guarantee" for more information. In the event a cat needs to go to the vet, I can accompany your cat via Uber (client to pay charges) at the rate of two one hour long drop in visits. I highly recommend that you contact your vet ahead of time to give them your credit card and give your vet the name of your trusted emergency contact or myself.

Ingrid is such a great person to trust with your per's care! We have had her watch Gracie a few times now and she is our preferred sitter. She is extremely conscientious and communicative, and has taken the time to get to know Gracie and her moods.

Ingrid was so great with our cat Binky, and having her coming to the house for drop-in visits while we were away gave us SO much calm and peace of mind! She knew how to interact with our cat and really got to know him on his own terms. She took care of everything while we were away and went above and beyond in ways both big and small. Ingrid was always on time and kept in touch with great updates and photos so we always knew Binky was well taken care of, happy, and content. Ingrid is an outstanding sitter for my 4 cats. Each cat has a distinctive personality and Ingrid recognizes that and the cats all love her! So if someone has one or many pets that need attention and love Ingrid is perfect.

Schedule
My schedule is very flexible. I am generally available seven days a week between 8:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., including holidays and weekends, for your cat sitting needs.
- CatsIngrid can host up to 6 drop-ins per day
- Just in case, it's important to know your emergency contact information and plan. I would like to know all the details of your cat's diet and how you would like their litter taken care of. Please let me know if their are any health symptoms or behaviors I should keep an eye on. I'm also interested to know about their favorite toy or toys, what kind of play they like and what kind of pets/touch they like and dislike.
