“Trisha was lovely to work with. She was prompt with communication and took great care of our kitties for an extended time. She was also kind enough to instinctively turn off our water when she suspected a toilet wasn’t performing properly. We appreciate her taking good care of our home too. Highly recommend!”

“the cats are fickle and really prefer that we not take a vacation!! They were very well cared for. Stephen was prompt and regular for the nights served. The cats did indeed enjoy his presence. Thanks again for your services. SCD”

“Very happy with Ella's help watching my two babies, twin brothers Kesha & Yasha. My cats played, ate, and were happy overall, I could see that. I will definitely be calling Ella's again when I am on business trip.”

“Julia was fantastic- very flexible, eager to help in any way, and clearly actually played with the cats and gave them affection. We felt at ease knowing they were in good hands. We’d highly recommend Julia and will use her again any time we need a sitter.”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, mostly chihuahuas and rescues, so I’m very comfortable with pups who need a little extra patience, reassurance, or understanding. My hands-on experience goes far beyond casual pet care. At Miami University, I was part of Paws for a Cause, where we helped train dogs to prepare them for working with children or future companion roles. This gave me a strong foundation in obedience training, reading body language, and supporting dogs with different temperaments. More recently, I’ve been volunteering with the Evanston Animal Shelter, working with dogs who have a wide range of behaviors and needs. There, I’ve assisted with medication administration, training sessions, enrichment, and helping nervous or high-energy dogs feel more comfortable and confident. I’m also on a path toward becoming a Physician Assistant, which adds to my calm, attentive, and health-focused approach. I’m comfortable managing routines, monitoring for changes, and making sure each dog feels safe and cared for. Overall, I bring a mix of lifelong experience, formal training exposure, shelter work, and genuine love for dogs of all personalities. Your pet will be treated with patience, structure, and plenty of affection. I work full-time as a medical scribe during the day (9–5), so evenings, weekends, and holidays are when I’m most available for pet care. During those times, I’m fully focused on your pet’s needs—whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. My schedule outside of work is very flexible, so I can reliably fit in consistent visits or longer stays. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walk times, crate routines, and any training cues you use. I take time to get to know your pet’s personality, comfort level, and boundaries so they feel safe and relaxed. I provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and calm companionship, and I always keep water fresh, watch for behavior changes, and send regular updates so you feel connected. If I’m hosting in my home (or doing extended stays), I make sure pets have a quiet, clean space to settle in, regular potty breaks, structured playtime, and a consistent routine. Safety is a top priority, doors secured, no access to anything unsafe, and lots of supervised time. Whether I’m in your home or mine, your pet gets patient, reliable care with the goal of making them feel comfortable, understood, and well-loved.
“Andrew was the best cat sitter! We’re always a little nervous going out of town leaving our elderly cat at home. Andrew is a great communicator, and we felt our cat was in good hands. We would not hesitate to rebook with Andrew the next time we need a cat sitter.”

“Jason stayed at our home with our cat for a week - it was great to know our kitty was so cared for, and that our house was watched over as well. Jason kept in touch all week, and we absolutely loved the pictures he sent each day! We’ll definitely have Jason back next time we travel!”

“Absolutely recommend Rebeca! You can tell she really cares about dogs and loves what she does. My dog Snoopy has anxiety & is very shy at first but he felt at ease with her as soon as he met her during the meet and greet. She was so gentle, patient & sweet with him right away. I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such caring hands. I will def be booking with her again!”

“Rosy was communicative, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure our cat and us were at ease and taken care of while we were away. We’ve booked Rosy twice now and will absolutely do so again in the future - absolutely 10/10.”

“I am extremely happy with Isabela and her care of our two cats. We were away for close to two weeks and I was initially nervous about being gone that long. But, she took great care of them and sent daily updates and photos. I would highly recommend her and would be happy to use her again.”

About: Hello! I’m a college student home for the summer and am ready to take care of your pets! I’ve lived with animals for 9 years and have experience sitting for both dogs and cats. I’ll do anything for your pets, whether that be taking them on hour-long walks or sitting and cuddling (or both)! I aim to provide the best experience possible for you and your animals. I’ll be working a part-time job over the summer that keeps me busy from 9-4 on Mondays through Thursdays, so I can provide early morning care along with evening and night care! I strive to provide the best possible experience for your pet and household by meeting the needs of your pet. I offer as many walks a day as needed, plenty of playtime and enrichment, and lots of cuddles (or not, if your pet isn’t a fan)! Additionally, I take the time to ensure that the houses I sit for are kept clean and tidy.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Growing up with dogs has given me a strong understanding of their daily needs, behavior, exercise routines, and overall care. Over the past two years, I’ve also expanded my experience by professionally caring for other families’ dogs, including large breeds. My responsibilities have included walking, feeding, playtime, maintaining routines, providing companionship, and ensuring each dog feels safe, loved, and well cared for. I’m comfortable handling larger dogs with confidence and patience, and I’m committed to providing dependable, attentive care tailored to each pet’s individual needs. I’m currently studying full time. But during the day I have enough time to take care of pets in differents times of the day. I'm looking for pet care in the customers' house. This way I can make sure that the pets are comfortable and safe in the place where they live. Sometimes when they are transferred to another place they can suffer from stress or anxiety
About: I work from home so would be able to stop by morning or sometimes mid-day to care for your pet. My daughter would join me in the evening or on the weekends as her schedule allows. Together, we are interested in helping your pet feel safe and comfortable. We enjoy playing with cats if they are open to that, but we can also keep our distance if that is preferred.
About: Hi! I’ve been a lifelong animal lover, and I’ve had pets all my life — so I know how much pets mean to their families. My girlfriend introduced me to Rover, and since then, I’ve been all in. I currently walk up to 10 dogs a day and board around 2 dogs each month, and I truly enjoy every minute of it. Whether it’s a high-energy pup who needs long walks or a shy cat who just wants a quiet companion, I treat every pet like my own. I know how important trust is when it comes to pet care, and I always go the extra mile to make sure your furry friend feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I’d love the chance to meet your pet and give them the care and attention they deserve! Pet care is a major part of my daily routine. I work in real estate, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of control over my time. This flexibility allows me to dedicate consistent blocks of time each day to walking dogs, doing drop-in visits, and boarding pets comfortably in my home. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, safety and trust always come first. In my home, I create a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment. I make sure there are no hazards within reach, keep any unfamiliar pets separated as needed, and provide plenty of space for relaxation, play, and personal time. I follow any routines or rules you provide so your pet feels comfortable and secure—just like they would at home. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect and care I would my own. I follow all instructions closely, keep your pet’s schedule consistent, and provide regular updates so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. I’m always attentive to their behavior, energy levels, and comfort to make sure they’re safe and happy throughout the visit. Whether it’s walks, playtime, meals, or quiet companionship, I’m committed to providing a trustworthy, low-stress experience for both you and your pet.

“Nancyanne was terrific with our cat Kate while we were away on a long weekend trip. She stopped in as scheduled to check on her and provided us with very cute photos on each visit. It was reassuring to know she was in good hands while were were away. Thank you, Nancyanne!”

The best pet sitter. Rosy literally just saved my cat’s life, when she noticed he was not his usual self, took him to the vet, where they identified he had a urinary blockage and likely just hours to live. How lucky for us that Rosy was caring for our animals and so observant. Thank you, forever. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Julia was able to help us within relatively short notice (~1 week before we left for our trip) and was communicative and friendly throughout. She came out a few days before our trip to do a complimentary "meet-and-greet" to go over instructions, meet our cats, and generally put us at ease since it was our first time using a sitter via Rover. We looked forward to receiving her daily updates and pictures, and appreciated how she communicated proactively when minor questions came up.

Kaitlin was very caring and attentive to our indoor/outdoor cats! She was able to connect with them quickly- even our very shy female- and made sure they had all they needed. She is very responsive and reliable, providing regular updates and quick feedback to any questions.

Clare is exceptional. If you have a special needs cat who needs oral and/or topical medication, I cannot recommend her enough! Anyone would be lucky to work with Clare, and I hope to work with her again. My cat needed oral and topical medication 2x a day while I was away for a long trip, and Clare was so diligent in following our instructions for her care, was on time coming in, and was very communicative for check ins. She is also outstanding in handling new challenges - right before we left, my cat had a sudden bout of diarrhea. Clare was so patient and meticulous in handling a new medication and schedule, and she was proactive about sending updates about any changes/concerns with my cat. She was incredibly helpful, reliable, and professional during this difficult time. I felt so at ease leaving my cat in her care, and my cat was clearly very content and healthy when I returned. She also went above and beyond in helping keep our place tidy and making sure our plants were also ok. I am so grateful to Clare!
