I did domestic care for four years and my primary job was tending to the animals. I am trustworthy and caring and I will put the needs of your pet first. Every time. I have made pet care my priority. I also love pet photography and offer that as a service I am available on a drop-in basis and I can make myself available for overnights and extended stays as well. About: From zoos to animal shelters to animal hospitals, I’ve worked with all animals and I just can’t get enough with them! Whatever your pets needs, basic and specials, they will be in good hands with my excellent service, attention to detail, and reliability. I split time between the Evanston/Wilmette area and Des Plaines so let me know what you need and I’ll let you know if it’s feasible depending on the service! I work full time at an animal hospital. I rotate Saturdays and Mondays, working a morning shift one day and the other off. T-FR full 8 hour days. I have had plenty of success in petsitting with this schedule. If the gig is close enough to work, I can do a midday visit. If the gig is farther from work, then I will not do a midday visit. Keep this in mind when booking if your dogs need three walks a day. I stay overnight no problem! With dog walking or pet checkins, I will do them whenever fits with my schedule! Evenings and weekends are pretty much open. I make sure to keep a very clean space so that pets can’t get into anything, and I leave your home looking as though no one was even there. I always double check doors and fences and gates. I do like to brainstorm pet-safe enrichment for them too (comes from my zoo background). I keep their food and water bowls clean, and for dogs we do a lot of walks. 3-4 a day. If allowed, I like to take dogs for field trips like to forest preserves and dog beaches for extra exercise and a change of scenery. For nervous cats, I let them come to me. Normally with time they get a little more comfortable but I won’t force it. I send lots of video and photo updates to pet owners.

About: I have experience doing in-home dog sitting, including administering supplements and medication (mixed in with food/pill pockets), feeding specialty diets, and playing with them. I recently moved to Chicago and am currently looking for employment. I love (and have always loved) animals, I have experience caring for and playing with them, and I would like to be able to meet many more! I am available for sitting 7 days a week, primarily between the hours of 12:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.; this does vary depending on the day of the week, however, and I am also willing to negotiate times outside of these hours. I will listen to what you tell me about your pet, and respond to your pet's reaction(s) to me accordingly. I will give them attention and pets and scritches if that is what is wanted; I will be unobtrusive and give them all the space they need, if that is what is wanted. I will remove my shoes if that is what is asked of me; I will clean up after your pet and myself (i.e., throwing away/recycling any food cans, etc.); I will only enter the rooms that you permit me to, and I will not look at, let alone touch, anything other than what is required for me to care for your pet.

About: I have had cats, dogs, and fish for the past 15 years. I have boarded, walked, and sat many animals including the ones listed above. I have also done feedings and administering medications. I always like to get detailed notes and a walk through of the care you need so the pets are well taken care of throughout my time with them. I am currently open to any times and days. I am in school and am doing it completely online and asynchronous. I can work with you separately to figure out the best schedule. I am always wanting a walk through and detailed sheet of paper describing schedules and everything I need to know. I will also send frequent updates including pictures. I have administered medications before and ask to be shown how to administer so they don’t miss a day.

About: We've had dogs and cats in our family for years and miss hearing the patter of paws! We treat our pets well and enjoy playtimes and grooming dogs. Either my son or I are home to be with your pet. I work part time and my son is here when I work. He is working on his master's in business and loves to walk and play with the dogs. We do not have any pets of our own at present. This is a pet friendly home and yard on a quiet cul de sac. We dog sit other family members pets at time. Dogs are welcome in most rooms of the house.

She has consistently been a prompt communicator, and she took the time to learn more details about my cats and their needs/preferences, as she wanted to make sure they were as comfortable as possible while I was away. One of my cats was very anxious when I left and didn’t want to eat or take medications, but Lisa was incredibly patient and persistent, and eventually she was able to help my cat feel comfortable enough to eat and take her meds. She provided lots of love to my cats and left my apartment in great shape, and she kept me updated every time she stopped by with info and photos/videos. I really appreciate everything Lisa did for my cats and would highly recommend her to anyone who wants top quality care for their furry friends.”
