“Donna and her husband Stephen are clearly animal lovers. They were passionate about ensuring our furry family members were taken care of in our absence. They took our feeding instructions seriously and provided playtime, petting and love to each of our cats. We loved the regular updates and pictures they sent to us and when we got back from our vacation, our cats were all healthy and happy. What a relief to find pet sitters whom we can depend on and who get what it takes to help keep pets feeling secure when their owners are away. Thank you so much!!!”

“Isabella has been wonderful and adapted to my flight changes during the government shutdown. She took get care of my fur baby and will definitely be using her in the future!!!”

“Paige was wonderful! She kept me regularly updated on how my cats were doing and truly cared for their well-being. She was attentive and proactive! She messaged me about closing a window before a hot day, which I really appreciated. She even took the time to clean the dust bin of my vacuum robot! My cats are usually very shy, but Paige was so gentle and patient that she managed to earn their trust.”

“Thanks to Rosy for taking great care of our two young kitties while we were away! She was very responsive and sent lots of photos and updates that we really appreciate. The fact that our very shy boy Miko let her approach and pet him on just the 2nd day says a lot. We will be happy to entrust Rosy to care for our pets any time in the future!”

“Amy did a great job checking on our two cats while we were out of town. She was very attentive to the cats needs and we could tell they got lots of affection and play time during Amy’s visits. We highly recommend and plan to book with Amy in the future.”

“Very happy with Ella's help watching my two babies, twin brothers Kesha & Yasha. My cats played, ate, and were happy overall, I could see that. I will definitely be calling Ella's again when I am on business trip.”

“Julia was fantastic- very flexible, eager to help in any way, and clearly actually played with the cats and gave them affection. We felt at ease knowing they were in good hands. We’d highly recommend Julia and will use her again any time we need a sitter.”

About: Ever since I was a child, I have had a passion for dogs and animals of all sorts. Growing up in the Philippines, my relatives found it strange to have such compassion for animals. I'd always begged my parents for a dog while doing avid research and volunteering at pet-related jobs to prepare myself if my dream was to come true. When I was 17, my parents finally agreed to get a dog-- but not just any dog. I wanted my dream dog: an Alaskan Malamute. Huge, stubborn, and a daily shedder, it was a huge challenge I took on myself. However, this Malamute was well trained, house-broken, and friendly. I believe I can take care of a dog of any size, temperament, or history. I am a graduate from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Sociology. I volunteered at the Chicago Canine Rescue downtown where we play and walk with shelter dogs. I have copious experience with boarding, walking, and overall loving dogs. As a past dog boarder, I understand the care and attention that must be given to a pup to create a trusting bond with them. For more pictures of our past clients and to get a better idea how I interact with your pup, check out this instagram: powerpuffdogs May have to step out a few times a day, or if I have an outing I would make sure your pup has had plenty of exercise and pets before leaving. I adhere as closely as possible to the pet’s existing schedule— routine is key! Other than that, if you are comfortable with it, I can take your dog on forest walks, dog parks (only if you’d like, and with ample supervision), or on play dates with my own well-socialized dogs!
About: I am part of a family of 6 which includes 3 daughters and our sweet dog named Willow. We would love to host your furry family member. I have over 13 years of experience with friends and family members who have pets in their home. I have a yard for fun and I love nice walks around the park across the street. We even take rides in the car to explore some more. Your furry family member will become a part of my family as long as they are in my home. I will care for it as directed and go beyond your expectations. Give me a try and you will not be disappointed. I look forward to working with you and your furry friend!
“Our cats were immediately comfortable with Leah, and she is very organized, she remembered instructions I mentioned only once, she also improvised to get our older and pickier cat to eat. Thanks Leah!”

“Katie was great with my cat Flynn. She stopped by every day and gave him lots of love and attention & made sure he was fed/watered & happy. She was also very quick to communicate with me/send pics which really put my mind at ease and helped me to enjoy my time away without worrying about my baby. Thanks Katie!”

About: Hi there! My passion for animals truly beats all. If I could spend every day playing with them, I absolutely would! I share my home with two adorable Shih Tzus, Spunky and Jeffrey, who are my heart and soul. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and have dedicated a lot of my time to helping animals. Beyond my own pets, I’ve fostered many dogs/kittens from shelters and worked at an animal shelter. I also spent four years volunteering at a cat shelter. I've pet sat/dog walked for many years, so I have plenty of experience with a variety of animals. I’m available every day for walks or drop-ins, and I promise to love and care for your dog just as I do for Spunky and Jeffrey. Caring for animals is not just something I do — it’s my passion. Someday, I hope to run my own rescue to continue making a difference. Looking forward to meeting your furry family member! I currently am working part time and my schedule is pretty open and flexible! I’m good to work odd hours and short notice or on an as needed basis! My dogs go on 3 walks daily, fed twice and unlimited water access. Your dogs could accompany us with our schedule if they were to do doggy day care! I would treat them as if they’re my own!
“We booked Viviana for multiple drop in visits for our two cats and were very impressed. She was responsive and met with us beforehand to ask detailed questions about our cats’ needs. During each visit she sent multiple photos and made sure everything was taken care of. It gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Highly recommended!”

Northfield cat parents share their Rover experiences
Rosy was absolutely wonderful. Our elderly cat is not the most welcoming to new people, but Rosy treated her with love and respect. We felt so good knowing our cat was in her care while we were away. She was also super communicative throughout the booking process and the car- taking process, which made us again, feel great. Would highly recommend and will hopefully have her look after our cat in the future.

Beyond grateful that I connected with Lauren and Lauren, and they could help with our cat while our entire family traveled together. Communication is always quick, clear, and helpful. They flagged every visit, and kept me updated with all the details from each house visit for our cat. Will absolutely keep them at the top of the list for any future needs!

Zikra took care of our two cats for a last minute weekend away and was so wonderful to them. She was prompt and communicative with me throughout the weekend and it was clear through the photos that our guys warmed to her quickly. She gave them treats and attention and played with them a bit to get some energy out. We are very grateful she was available!! Thank you!
