About: I have had a 3 dogs over the course of my life and 1 in college with my housemates. I have also cared for my senior dog when she was terminal for a year which gave me a lot of different experiences than usual animal care. I treat every dog I see on the street like my own and always stop for pets! I am currently a nursing student looking to make extra money. The program is online so I am available often to help out with whatever you need. I understand how to do the feeding schedules, walking schedules, and daily updates for parents as I take care of my dog at home some days for my parents as well. I can easily crate your dog if needed or help with feeding. I am great at following instructions and will respect your animal and your home accordingly!

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life and have had pets since I was 5 years old. I currently have two cats who I am the primary care giver. My late dog, Mara (a black lab), became diabetic when she was 11. For the last 3 years of her life, I administered her insulin shots twice a day. From March 2019-March 2020, I volunteered at CARE Skokie and have watched friend’s cats and dogs over the years while they were away. Animal welfare means a lot to me and I understand the importance of providing consistent and loving care. About: I grew up in a dog home and have always loved dogs. I worked at a daycare/boarding facility for 3 years, and finished my work there as a supervisor. There, i gained experience in caring for dogs from 3 months old to 18 years old, as well as dogs with health complications and mobility difficulties. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for 2 years as a handler for behaviorally challenged dogs. I currently work at another dog daycare boarding/training facility. I work full time at a daycare/boarding facility in Evanston. I'm almost always available for house sitting, drop ins or walks before or after work, and i'm looking forward to filling my free time with doggies! Body language is a very important part of communication and safety with dogs. When i'm with dogs, i'm extra careful to pay attention to what they are telling me with their body! When im meeting a new dog, I make sure to avoid eye contact, turn sideways, and get lower to the ground, all things that show your pup im a friend, not a threat. All in all, every dog is different, has their own personality, likes, and dislikes. I make sure I learn and respect them so I can build trust, and keep everyone safe and happy.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs throughout my life and I have always felt a strong connection and kindness to animals. I have done petsitting for dogs, cats, and even a leopard gecko before! I have one cat who is 17 years old. His brother was the same age and passed away earlier this year. I had a dog that lived to about 15 and I lost him several years ago, so I have experience with taking care of senior pets and the process of loss. Taking care of pets is something I love doing! I work as a mental health therapist, with most of my shifts from 3pm-8pm on weekdays. I sometimes have meetings in mid-morning. With my job, there is tremendous flexibility due to constant shifts in my caseload and clients cancelling appointments. I am also in charge of my own schedule. Generally, I will be most available in the morning and afternoon for pet care. Weekend availability may fluctuate depending on my plans. About: I've always had dogs my whole life. Friends and family can always rely on me to take care of their pets or check in on their pets whenever they are out of town or busy at work. I will feed, walk, and play for however much time is needed. I currently work early mornings but there is someone always at the house to feed, play and keep your furry friends company! My whole day after work is completely open so I can't wait to take care of them. Huge fenced yard as well as a my own pet to play with your furry friend if needed. Plenty of toys to keep them occupied as well as plenty of treats to spoil them.

Abby was great with Cubby when we were away for the weekend. We have a distinct dog and home routine, and she followed the routine very well. She was great in updating us with feeding and potty updates. She communicated with us in a timely manner and showed up on time. Her genuine care for Cubby showed through her work. We appreciated Abby's patience when there was an unexpected change in schedule and she managed the change with grace. We came home to a happy dog, and although I'm sure he missed us, it also showed he was well taken care of when we were away. We highly recommend Abby to care for your pets and look forward to having her care for Cubby when the opportunity comes again.
We cannot say enough good things about Ana! We hired her to house sit and pet sit during our vacation, and we were very nervous about leaving our five-month-old puppy for the first time. From day one, she made everything feel easy and completely worry-free. She kept us updated every morning and evening, sent lots of pictures, and clearly gave our puppy so much care and attention — plenty of walks, cuddles, and patient, expert handling of teething/nipping. It was also such a relief to have someone we trusted at the house to bring in packages and mail and let our cleaning crew in.
