About: Hi there! My name is Nicky (he/they) and I’ve been taking care of pets for my neighbors, friends, and family members for upwards of a decade and am commonly regarded as the go-to sitter in my community. I strive to treat every pet (and owner) with the utmost respect and kindness, and I’ll follow your instructions to a T! (The T stands for toe beans 🤓) Currently unemployed due to layoffs in my industry, so I’ll be able to give your fur bestie as much attention as possible! I can do overnights, multiple nights in a row, or just a drop-in/walk; whatever you need - I got you! :) I have a fenced yard in front of my apartment complex so your fur bestie can run free and tire themselves out before beddybye! I can crate your pup if you provide one or they can get some shut-eye on the couch or wherever they’re comfy!
“I can’t speak highly enough about Mads. I have a pretty anxious and quirky pup and two cats I needed an in house sitter for while I was away in another country and Mads was seriously the animal whisperer from our initial meet and greet. Mads was even understanding willing to be flexible when there was a last minute schedule change with my sister who was caring for my pup for part of my time away, and they were super patient, and totally unphased by my pups quirks and stressors. Being 8k miles away from home and dealing with a 9 hour time difference I was really nervous about leaving my girl, but Mads had me AND my babies completely at ease as well. I’ll absolutely be using them next time I need a sitter and will recommend them to everyone I know.”

“Keeley was an amazing sitter. Sent so many pictures and updates and truly just loved on our pet with cuddles, car rides and great walks and playtime. Left the house clean and tidy and was just a pleasure to work with. Will be rebooking her soon!”

“Kelsey stayed at our home with our two cats while we were on vacation. She took such good care of our boys and our home! She kept us well informed, especially when one of our guys had some tummy troubles. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again! Thank you!”

“Andrew did a great job with our two animals while we were on vacation for about a week. He’s taken great care while house sitting, got our mail, and cleaned our cats litter box. We can always count on and trust Andrew with our pets!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better pet and house sitter. When I first met Mer, she was clearly experienced and comfortable with Walter (he can come on a little strong since he loves visitors) but she wasn’t intimidated at all. Mer took the time to understand Walters routines and quirks (he has many) which immediately made me feel comfortable about trusting her with my big 90 pound baby. While I was away, we kept in touch so I knew Walter was well cared for. The photos looked like they were having a great time! Mer treated my home and my dog with kindness and respect, as if they were her own. I would definitely recommend Mer and will be booking her again next trip.”
“Joey did such a wonderful job watching our Sherlock! We were a bit nervous since we recently adopted him and he sometimes has some behavioral issues as he adjusts to his new environment. However, he was left in such calm and capable hands with Joey- he did such a good job walking/running him a lot and sounds like all went very well. Based on our convos before, Joey seemed to really “get it” and the needs of a dog still adjusting. We also loved receiving a ton of videos and updates!”

“We couldn’t be happier with Veronika. She couldn’t have been more accommodating and did so good with our Frencie. Already have booked a 10 day trip with her and feel like we are in really good hands.”

“Donna and Stephen knocked it out of the park again. We ran into flight issues for our travel and the team jumped into action. . .went above and beyond to make sure our Gypsie was well cared for in our absence. I will continue to have them care for our dog and highly recommend them for your pet.”

“Omg. I cannot possibly say enough about how amazing Ella was with our very senior dog. She Went so far above and beyond to accommodate our dogs needs. Meds, cooking, walks, love. Dealt with a bad doggie belly, kept us totally informed the whole time we were gone and did everything and then some to make our dog feel loved and comfortable. We could never have taken our trip without her. She is a wonderful person as well. When we got home the dog was happy, the house was clean and we got to enjoy a trip. Such a gift and we will 100% be using her services again. ????”

“Renee was excellent with my dogs on most fronts with only a couple of issues. She went above and beyond when one of them got an ear infection- taking him to the vet, even had her mom drive him which was amazing, she was generally very communicative and meticulous with their care. She even washed them and cleaned up before leaving. The issue i had with her majorly was the lack of any walks in the first 4 days of care. That's too long of a duration to go without walks. This did seem like a consequence of extenuating circumstances for her so I wouldn't characterize that as her caregiver personality. I do however think having big dogs with no walk time for 4 consecutive days is unacceptable as a general rule. She was extremely apologetic and explained her situation to me. She was regular with walks after I reiterated that only yard time is not ok, she needs to walk them daily and not just give them yard time. She left my house very clean and even gave my dogs baths before leaving, a completely unexpected kindness. Despite the hiccups I think she is a very caring and meticulous dog sitter.”

“Jason was great - he was kind enough to meet our dogs before his stay and took care of them while we were gone for a few days. Our home was spotless upon our return. Thanks, Jason!”

“I appreciated the willingness that Timothy had to care for our senior dog and his flexibility and compassion when he passed before our trip. He communicated his arrival and gave updates so that we knew our remaining cat and dog were okay. There is some room for improvement with keeping water bowls clean and tidying of trash. We appreciated that our pets were safe and seemed content when we returned.”

“By far & away Coty was THE BEST dog sitter/house sitter I've ever had. She was incredibly responsive and communication cadence was exactly as I like. She sent me a daily update including pictures and video. She was extremely organized, asked all the right questions in preparation for the stay. The best part was coming home to my home cleaner than I left it. If I could give Coty 10 stars I would! Will definitely use again!”

“Chris was fabulous with our dogs and they adored her! She is very kind, polite and easy to work with. You can definitely tell from her questions that she has experience dog sitting. Such a great fit for our two angels - we will be calling upon Chris again!!”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, mostly chihuahuas and rescues, so I’m very comfortable with pups who need a little extra patience, reassurance, or understanding. My hands-on experience goes far beyond casual pet care. At Miami University, I was part of Paws for a Cause, where we helped train dogs to prepare them for working with children or future companion roles. This gave me a strong foundation in obedience training, reading body language, and supporting dogs with different temperaments. More recently, I’ve been volunteering with the Evanston Animal Shelter, working with dogs who have a wide range of behaviors and needs. There, I’ve assisted with medication administration, training sessions, enrichment, and helping nervous or high-energy dogs feel more comfortable and confident. I’m also on a path toward becoming a Physician Assistant, which adds to my calm, attentive, and health-focused approach. I’m comfortable managing routines, monitoring for changes, and making sure each dog feels safe and cared for. Overall, I bring a mix of lifelong experience, formal training exposure, shelter work, and genuine love for dogs of all personalities. Your pet will be treated with patience, structure, and plenty of affection. I work full-time as a medical scribe during the day (9–5), so evenings, weekends, and holidays are when I’m most available for pet care. During those times, I’m fully focused on your pet’s needs—whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company. My schedule outside of work is very flexible, so I can reliably fit in consistent visits or longer stays. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walk times, crate routines, and any training cues you use. I take time to get to know your pet’s personality, comfort level, and boundaries so they feel safe and relaxed. I provide plenty of attention, enrichment, and calm companionship, and I always keep water fresh, watch for behavior changes, and send regular updates so you feel connected. If I’m hosting in my home (or doing extended stays), I make sure pets have a quiet, clean space to settle in, regular potty breaks, structured playtime, and a consistent routine. Safety is a top priority, doors secured, no access to anything unsafe, and lots of supervised time. Whether I’m in your home or mine, your pet gets patient, reliable care with the goal of making them feel comfortable, understood, and well-loved.
“This review is for Katie's second house-sitting job for our 2 cats. Everything I said in her first review applies to this job. Katie is a caring, enthusiastic sitter who also takes great care of the house and garden. One of our cats is very shy, but has come to trust Katie. This is a big accomplishment. Our other cat LOVES Katie as well. On this particular trip, we were mostly off the grid in the Sierras. It's a little scary to be out of touch with the sitter, but, based on her last job with us, we were very comfortable and able to relax. Katies's definitely a 5 Star sitter. You'll be glad you hired her!”

“Maddie was wonderful with our dog! She sent photos daily and ensured our dog had lots of playtime. This is our 2nd experience with Maddie and we will look to her in the future for care.”

Savannah and Courtney did a fantastic job taking care of our senior cat Delphi who needs oral meds twice a day. I loved getting pictures throughout the stay, communication was prompt, and it’s clear how much love they have for animals. Our house was in perfect shape when we returned too. I will absolutely reach out for petsitting again soon.

Rosy and Josh were excellent house sitters. They were great communicators with frequent updates on how Izzy was doing. They definitely gave her lots of love and attention while we were out of town. We could tell when we got back home that she was very comfortable with them and had a good time. We will definitely be asking them to house sit again for us. Thanks!

Highly recommend Raquel! She took great care of my dog for 6 days while we were out of town. My preference is to have someone come to our house but not necessarily stay overnight. Raquel stuck to the schedule and made sure Arlo had plenty of play time. We came home to a happy pup!

We had a great experience with Alex. She took wonderful care of our 8-pound poodle Quincy - who is a little nervous and doesn't like being alone, especially when we are gone! Alex provided regular walks, attentive care, and did a fantastic job adapting to all of Quincy’s little quirks, which showed how thoughtful and experienced she is. Quincy was happy, well cared for, and clearly comfortable the entire time. Alex was reliable, respectful of our home, and maintained excellent communication throughout the week, giving us real peace of mind with regular updates. We would absolutely use her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, attentive, and caring sitter.

We are so happy we found Avery to care for our young, energetic, attention seeking cockapoo during an out of town trip. She arrived promptly after our departure and responded to inquiries and sent us photos while we were away. We returned to a happy dog! Avery left our home in great shape too!

Caitlin stayed overnight with our 10 yr old Boxer Mix and 1.5 yr old Bernese Mountain Dog while we had a staycation in the city. She was super easy to communicate with and everything went very smooth. She left the house clean and the dogs were happy when we returned. Would definitely recommend her!

We cannot say enough good things about Ana! We hired her to house sit and pet sit during our vacation, and we were very nervous about leaving our five-month-old puppy for the first time. From day one, she made everything feel easy and completely worry-free. She kept us updated every morning and evening, sent lots of pictures, and clearly gave our puppy so much care and attention — plenty of walks, cuddles, and patient, expert handling of teething/nipping. It was also such a relief to have someone we trusted at the house to bring in packages and mail and let our cleaning crew in. We came home to a happy puppy and a house that was in the exact condition we left it (maybe even a bit cleaner!). Overall, an excellent experience — we’d hire her again in a heartbeat and recommend her highly.

Katelyn was timely and wonderful for popping in and taking care of the cats. She communicated well and dealt with any request we asked. We’re extremely grateful for her being prompt on a short notice. She followed instructions extremely well. We appreciate her effort.
