About: Ever since I was a child, I have had a passion for dogs and animals of all sorts. Growing up in the Philippines, my relatives found it strange to have such compassion for animals. I'd always begged my parents for a dog while doing avid research and volunteering at pet-related jobs to prepare myself if my dream was to come true. When I was 17, my parents finally agreed to get a dog-- but not just any dog. I wanted my dream dog: an Alaskan Malamute. Huge, stubborn, and a daily shedder, it was a huge challenge I took on myself. However, this Malamute was well trained, house-broken, and friendly. I believe I can take care of a dog of any size, temperament, or history. I am a graduate from the University of Illinois in Chicago with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Sociology. I volunteered at the Chicago Canine Rescue downtown where we play and walk with shelter dogs. I have copious experience with boarding, walking, and overall loving dogs. As a past dog boarder, I understand the care and attention that must be given to a pup to create a trusting bond with them. I adhere as closely as possible to the pet’s existing schedule— routine is key! Other than that, if you are comfortable with it, I can take your dog on forest walks, dog parks (only if you’d like, and with ample supervision), or on play dates with my own well-socialized dogs!

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old! I have had my own cockapoo since 2014 and have also routinely taken care of dogs of friends and family since then. I have experience walking neighborhood dogs of mostly small to medium sizes. I love spending time with my own dog and miss having him around while I am away at school. Dogs bring me a lot of joy, and I love getting to know the unique personality of every dog that I take care of! I am very excited to spend time with your dog :) I am currently a part-time student at Northwestern, so my schedule is very flexible! About: I love dogs and recognize the varying personalities from pet to pet. In my experiences dog sitting for friends, family, and neighbors I always tailor my services to the preferences of the animal respecting if they enjoy running around and exploring or if they have a more relaxed energy. I enjoy companioning all types of dogs and cats and can not wait to meet your pet! I have a hybrid work schedule allowing me a lot of scheduling flexibility. Preferably provide advance notice of 3 days to allow me to plan accordingly! When on walks I keep the dog close on their leash while still allowing them to explore. I watch them closely making sure they don't pick up or eat anything harmful.

About: I love animals, I feel connected to them. Pets have been in my heart, life and home since I was 5 years old. I’ve walked dogs for friends, family and for elderly friends. Also, I substitute for my dog-sitter/walker friends on Rover when they aren’t available. I helped breed Yorkies at one point, and helped find them homes. About: I have always wanted to work with animals since I was little. I have had pets in my family since I was born. I have had dogs, cats, rats, frogs, and fish. In the past few years, I have gained animal care experience outside of my own pets. During my gap year, I worked with a wide variety of animals (including dogs, cats, goats, horses). I learned dog training and gained experience socializing animals. I resocialized adult cats from a hoarding situation which was an incredibly rewarding experience! I originally learned dog training using a slip lead but have learned positive reinforcement training methods since then and I much prefer to only use positive reinforcement! I think it is incredibly important to understand how the animal views the world and in that way, I can best work with the animal! You have 1.3 seconds to reward or discipline a dog after it has done something and I will not discipline a dog after that time as all that does is harm our relationship. I have experience with a wide variety of dog sizes and behavioral types. I'd like to tell you a little bit about my own dogs so you have an idea of the kind of dog behavior I deal with every day! Currently, I have 1 small dog that is dog reactive. His reaction to other dogs has drastically decreased in the past few years and he has even learned to cohabitate with other dogs. If your dog is dog reactive, I know what walking them is like and how best to avoid a reaction from my own personal experience. I do not let dogs greet each other on walks as that is not always the best environment for them to do so. Sometimes avoiding other dogs can feel like an art form—but one I have much experience in! My other two dogs go on walks together. They are both large and have different walking speeds but I know how to manage. One of mine is also nervous around people and we have been working on that for the past year since we got her and she has grown so much. If your dog is fearful of new people then I can work to gain their trust and make sure they feel safe on walks! Both these pups also go crazy for rabbits and we are currently working on refocusing on the walk and moving on! Dogs are all so unique and no walk is the same. I have dealt with a wide variety of experiences and am prepared to tackle any challenge, with your dog's safety and happiness as the priority. I love cats as well! I currently have one and we are working on leash training him. I do have some previous experience walking cats. I’m busy Monday-Thursday but I am available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays! About: I have always had pets of every size. From small cats to large livestock, I can provide care for all types of pets no matter the kind or size. You can be sure your pets are in the care of someone who has seen it all, and loves them all I am currently between jobs, which means I am well suited to accommodate most schedules. After 9am works best if you are further than walking distance, but arrangements can be made. I have one small cat that gets along well with other animals. When taking care of others pets, I treat them with the same care I give my own. I will follow any rules or requests the owner has for their pets and provide for them to the best of my ability.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs for over 4 years (they’re bulldogs who have had their fair share of medical issues and have a variety of special needs that I manage on a daily basis). Depending on your needs and/or schedule, Im able to walk, play, administer medication, and give your dog tons of love while you’re away. I’m not currently working as I’m back in school for my masters degree. all of my classes are online so I’m home the majority of the day I live in a house on the lake with a very large yard. It’s secluded but not entirely fenced so please let me know if you would like your dog to stay on leash at all times while in the yard. My dogs have always been family and they are allowed on couches, bed, anywhere unless otherwise specified!

About: I’ve always had a love for cats since I was 9 my family has always had pets. They bring me so much joy and happiness. I’m currently working from home I’ve been thinking of cat sitting for a while and what better time then NOW! To spend and love fur babies! FYI! When house sitting I do not stay at the residence I do pop in visits for 1hr twice a day. Thank you. I have a back room solely for my cats and yours!
