About: Animals, especially dogs, have always been a huge part of my life. Although I don’t currently have one of my own, that allows me to give my full attention to every dog I care for. What sets me apart is how intentional I am with every dog I watch. I pay close attention to their routines, energy levels, and little quirks so they feel safe, happy, and at home. I’m not just there to “watch” your dog, I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and making sure they feel comfortable , cared for, and loved until you get back home. I have a very flexible schedule right now, which allows me to give pets a lot of attention throughout the day. I’m able to go on walks regularly and provide consistent care without long periods of time away. I also live across the street from a park and near a long trail, so it’s easy to incorporate outdoor time, exercise, and enrichment into our daily routine. If a pet is staying with me, I make sure they feel right at home. I’m around often, so they’re never left alone for long and always have company, attention, and a cozy space to relax. I really try to read their personality so I can match their energy, whether that’s playtime or just quiet comfort. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping everything as familiar as possible. I follow their routine closely and respect their space, so their pet feels safe and stress-free while they’re away.
“Brenda is amazing and leads with kindness and care for my cat! My cat is typically shy and reserved around new people but quickly warmed up to Brenda. Will be booking again for sure!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always been a part of my daily routine. While I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to caring for pets. I’ve looked after dogs for my grandmother, family friends, and personal friends, helping with walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of attention. I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while you’re away. My goal is to give you peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring hands. During the summer (now till August 16th), I’m available for pet care every day, including weekdays and weekends. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, feeding, or overnight care, I’ll make sure they receive lots of attention and love. Currently waiting to determine my academic year schedule. I understand that every pet is different, so I always take the time to get to know their routine and personality. I’ll follow any instructions you leave, make sure they get lots of love and attention, and do my best to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll also send photo updates and messages so you can see how they’re doing and have peace of mind.
About: I grew up with a lot of pets and have done pet sitting and dog walking for the last 4 years. I have several regular families that I pet sit for and do regular dog walking. I am currently doing online classes to finish my college degree. I have a lot of free time to myself and can travel anywhere in the city to take care of your dogs. I take particular care to follow instructions for your dog, making sure to walk them and feed them at the right time. I also make sure your home is clean and well kept after I leave.
About: My approach to pet care is based on being attentive – both to your instructions and to the ways in which your pet is communicating. When I am with your pet, I am really with your pet – I'm not distracted or thinking about somebody else. I care to get to know them and respond to their needs moment-by-moment while we are together. I have your pet's security and safety at the top of my mind – I am the type to review your care instructions every time I visit, and double-check that everything is properly locked up before I leave for the day. I could say that I will treat your pets like they are my own pets, but I will also say that I will treat your pets like they are my own neighbors: I will provide complete attention, respect, care, and friendship to your cats and dogs. Aside from pet care, I work on creative projects at home on my own time. That means I can generally put your pets first, and be responsive to your schedule. When we have an established pet care relationship, I am uniquely flexible and available for last moment needs: once we have a routine together, I am ready to support you at a moment's notice. Expert, High-Trust Service: I am responsible & orderly. I pride myself on being observant, discreet, and reliable. Whether you need a one-time visit or a consistent routine, I treat your home with total respect and provide the peace of mind that comes with a truly qualified caretaker. Beyond the Basics: I am deeply attentive to your pet’s needs—ensuring they are returned home clean, dry, and happy after every outing. I am also happy to assist with basic household chores, such as garbage removal, to ensure your living space remains stress-free. A Partner in Your Pet’s Life: If we establish a long term routine, my goal is to earn your trust so that, over time, I can provide the best personalized service possible. By managing the logistics and "little things" that often pile up (pet chores, household tasks, etc), I can lighten your load so you can get the most out of your time at home simply enjoying your pet. How'd I get to be a qualified caretaker? My professional background has involved providing personalized, high-trust support (ex. providing personal assistance to the elderly & managing high-value collections of rare items). In all those years, I've learned that providing attention and care was the common thread in the work I really loved – I can do that for your pets.

About: Having personally had Pitbulls and Catahoulas, and successfully help rescuing an abused, aggressive American Bully, i have a natural comfort level with powerful breeds and reactive dogs. "Spicy" behavior or hardcore barking doesn’t intimidate me. Over the years, I’ve learned to quickly pick up on body language and have gone through formal training courses with my own dogs, which taught me how to read and simmer down a stressed pup naturally. Something that I notice when walking my own dogs is that sometimes people don’t always have a sense of awareness of their surrounding relative to their dog’s behaviors and that can be frustrating to other dog owners. I’m someone that keeps my head on a swivel. I am highly aware of my surroundings and will intentionally alter routes to avoid triggers like other dogs, bikes, or crowds. This proactive situational awareness keeps your pup calm, safe, and stress free. Most importantly, I’ve never met a dog that I didn’t treat like my family. I am definitely guilty of giving one…or two…extra treats (unless you explicitly tell me not to, of course). I’m a “diet starts tomorrow” kind of guy. As long as I have notice, I should be pretty easy to schedule. I live in Lincolnwood, but have an office in Wrigleyville where I spend a vast majority of my day editing photography and video for my production company (YES! I do take photos of pets!) As long as I have some sort of notice, I’ll usually be able to get to a stopping point and get over to your house fairly quickly. Put simply, people who treat dogs like pets and not family weird me out a little lol. Dogs aren’t just pets, they’re a member of your family and they will be treated as such.
“Coral is a great communicator and took wonderful care of my dog, Delaney. I highly recommend her for any pet sitting needs and will definitely be rebooking!”

About: I have been a dog lover my entire life so being around dogs comes very natural to me. Growing up with dogs has given me hands-on experience with daily care such as feeding, walking, bathing, playtime, cuddles, and providing lots of love and attention. I have cared for many different dogs over the years, each with their own personality, routine, and needs. I am very adaptable and am more than willing to follow a schedule and routine that fits your dog's needs. My highest priority is to provide safety and comfort to every dog I meet and care for. I'm currently a college student, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be available for dog walks and drop in visits. Weekdays (Tuesday-Thursday) I am available after 4 pm. Whenever I am spending time with a dog, I make sure they are in a safe, calm, and loving environment. I treat every dog as my own and ensure that they are content. I will be attentive to your dog's comfort, so it will be no issue to adapt to their needs and routine. In addition, I am more than willing to send updates so you can see how your dog is doing throughout our time together :)
About: Hi! I have a flexible schedule and love being able to structure my days around care work. As a social worker, I’m reliable, attentive, and calm in all kinds of situations. If my calendar doesn’t line up, message me anyway – I’m usually happy to try to make it work. I’m a lifelong caretaker (former teacher, child care provider, babysitter, and current servant to four cats). I grew up with dogs and have experience with everyone from wildly energetic puppies to senior pups who need a slower pace and extra patience. I’m very comfortable with pet quirks. Food warmed for exactly two seconds? Specific petting rules? Emotional support hair tie? I get it. As a cat mom, nothing surprises me. Whether your pet wants long walks, playtime, cuddles, or quiet companionship, I’ll make sure they’re safe, loved, and very well looked after. I have the most availability on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I also have some AM and PM availability so it’s easy for me to fit pet care into my day. When I’m caring for pets in my client’s home, I do my best to follow their normal routine so they feel comfortable and safe. I make sure they get the right amount of food, playtime, walks, and attention based on their needs and personality. I also like to check in with photo or text updates so you know how they’re doing.
“We were so pleased with Angelli and her care for our Pixie while we were away. She is responsible and very caring. We felt at ease with her and we could tell, through the pictures Angelli sent, that Pixie really adored her as well. We highly recommend her and will utilized her date on the future.”

About: I had my first dog when I was 5 years old. I personally took care of 4 Pitbulls and 1 Yorkshire. I've worked in a dog day care for 4 years. I was responsible in their safety; I follow instruction and communicate consistently to make sure their dogs are well taken care of. I pride myself in providing quality service and giving my best in taking care of my client's pets. I work part-time with flexibility. I can accommodate any day of the week as long as I'm given 1-2 days of notice. I can be flexible on weekend as long as it fits my schedule. I live nearby parks in the city where I can conveniently walk the dogs. I have an extra room to accommodate for dogs if needed.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lincolnwood
Second time with Ryan taking care of my dog bear and he was wonderful. So conscientious, thoughtful and dedicated to doing the best by our pup. I also appreciate how communicative he was, keeping me updated and sharing suggestions regarding bear’s care. Look forward to working with Ryan again.
Liz is the best! My two furkids love her, and she always keeps me informed on how they’re doing. It’s very reassuring while you’re away knowing that your kiddos are not only in good hands, but in the hands of someone you know really cares for them. Highly recommend!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Tinsley to take care of our dogs. She started walking and looking after our four-year-old Goldendoodle, Stella, and our new Bernedoodle puppy, Harper. From day one, it was clear that Tinsley genuinely loves dogs and treats them as if they were her own. Stella and Harper both adore her, and Tinsley has been wonderful in helping Harper adjust as a young puppy. She is reliable, attentive, caring, and always keeps us updated on how the dogs are doing. It gives us such peace of mind knowing our dogs are in the hands of someone who truly cares about their happiness and well-being. We highly recommend Tinsley to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog walker. Stella and Harper are always excited to see her, and that says everything!

Mae was great with Legacy. She handled six drop-ins over three days, sent photo updates, and made it easy to feel comfortable while I was away. Legacy seemed calm and content when I got home, which is exactly what you hope for. I also really appreciated that Mae took the time to walk Legacy during her visits. Legacy is a big dog and can be a little more challenging because of her past trauma, but Mae handled her great I’d absolutely book Mae again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, thoughtful, and genuinely good with dogs.

Our 6 month old puppy cuddled up with Revan after only a few minutes and I was convinced she really is the dog whisperer. Our cat came out to see her too! It's very rare that our cat comes out when a new person is in the house. We are excited to have Revan housesit next month and know our babies will be in the best possible care.

Emily was perfect. She's all the things you want in a person you're inviting into your home to take care of your beloved pets: bright, communicative, experienced, and confident. This was a trial run before having her stay in our place for three days and two nights, and we won't worry about a thing while we're away. Highly recommended.
