About: I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life. I grew up looking after our family dog and helping with neighbors’ pets, and in my 20s and early 30s I regularly sat for, fostered, and checked in on friends’ and community members’ animals—mostly dogs and cats, with the occasional bird, frog, or turtle. I adopted my own cat in my 30s and have lived with multiple pets while sharing homes with roommates. While much of this care was informal, it gave me a wide range of hands-on experience. About: I have been around animals my whole life and have always taken care to watch cues and communication that animals give to make them feel most comfortable and happy! I have also volunteered at animal shelters to take dogs on walks, feed them, and give them one-on-one attention. Pet care will be my sole job this summer, meaning that I will take full responsibility of the jobs I have with your babies. I want them to enjoy their summer just as much as I will!
