I grew up in a household with two German Shepherds, a Lab, three cats, two guinea pigs, and many different types of fish throughout the years. I have always loved animals and treat every animal I care for with respect and love! I am passionate about animal rescue and have worked for several years rescuing strays. Through my connections and expertise, I help bring these animals to safety so that they may receive the proper care and attention they deserve. My mother was a veterinary technician and occasionally we would foster cats/dogs until they found their new homes. Often these foster animals were recovering from surgeries and on strict medication regimens. I learned how to properly administer medications as well as taking care of surgical sites on these animals (primarily cats and dogs). For 5 years I was responsible for taking care of three German Shepherds, one diabetic Beagle, and one three-legged cat who needed IV infusions twice daily. The four dogs each followed a strict walk, food, and medication schedule. More specifically the Beagle required insulin shots with each meal. I am trained in leash care and have become highly skilled at reading the behavior of dogs. I consider myself to be highly skilled when it comes to taking care of your pet. I am extremely diligent and continuously pay attention to my surroundings. The health and safety of your pet are my number one priority! Whatever routine you have set for your pet is sacred and I am certain that I am up to maintaining and giving your animal the love, fun, and attention they deserve.
