About: I live in Edison Park, but work in McCook/Chicago during the day/week or sometimes from home. I manage my time really well, so I can make anything early in the morning,/on my lunch break work- plus weekends or after work. I have always had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a chocolate lab mix, then when she passed away my family got a three legged black lab and a chesapeake bay retriever. Then, when I was in college, a chocolate lab climbed into my car and after months of trying to find his owners, I decided to keep him. Those puppies have since passed, but our family has 2 giant black labs currently. I’ve also had 4 Guinea Pigs who I loved dearly. I currently work from home part of the time and love four legged angels (sometimes 3, I had a 3 legged dog growing up). I am available in the early mornings, evenings and on the weekends consistently, but can work out weekday daytime availability with advanced notice. I make sure the animals all have the appropriate food/water setups at all times (per owners instructions depending on pet’s specific needs), as well as making sure the temperature is comfortable for the pet. I prioritize exercise and bathroom breaks for each pet. There is never a lack of social interaction when I am around. Pretty much, I view pets as family and think they deserve the best. If they have specific requirements, I will always follow whatever rules the owner requests and talk through any concerns before booking.

About: I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a large part of who I am. I currently have 4 dogs and 4 cats all of different breeds, sizes, and personalities therefore I am comfortable caring for pets with a variety of needs. I have experience giving medication, following feeding schedules, and making sure each pet gets the attention and care they deserve. I also enjoy spending time outside and going for walks. I’m currently a full time pre-nursing student and work PRN as a switchboard operator at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. Because of my flexible schedule, I’m able to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including drop in visits, walks, overnight stays, and some last-minute bookings whenever possible. My school schedule is subject to change and being PRN shifts could pop up here and there but I am very flexible and willing to work around what ever possibly comes up. In the aspect of my school schedule I have classes mon/tue/thur/fri. Monday and Friday 11am-12:30pm, Tuesday 9:30am-2:20pm and Thursday 8am-2:20pm. Safety and comfort are a priority to me. Each animal has their own personalities and day to day activities. I would like to know what your pet likes, whether it be extra playing time, going for walks, or even extra attention to make sure they feel the most comfortable at home. I am also comfortable crating a dog if it is needed.

Caring for your pet will fit into my routine nicely. I work as a designer and always home during the week. I usually let my boy Nacho out to play in the morning at 7am, 8am, 11am, 2pm, and 4pm, 6pm and 9:15pm. I usually keep the dogs with me in my area while I work. They have access water, food, beds and toys. I have a bunch of doggy beds and toys 🧸 all around the house. I also don’t mind the dogs sleeping in bed with me. I love to snuggle with the fur babies.

About: I’ve cared for 7 dogs and 2 cats throughout their full life span, from puppyhood and kittenhood to senior years, including pets with special senior care needs. I’m confident handling large dogs and focus on structured walks, mental stimulation, and enriching playtime. As a psychotherapist, patience, intuition, and compassionate care come naturally to me. My schedule is very flexible I'm currently part time and work from home. I can be available on notice from 9am-10pm. I am able to do daily and weekly care/walking/play. I have a fenced yard. Two cats who are used to visitors and other animals. I can also crate animal if requested, use baby fence and adapt to living requirements specific to client needs.

About: We’ve been caring for family and friends’ dogs and puppies for 14 yrs, We have potty trained puppies, taught them to sit, wait patiently for food, and other fun tricks. Most importantly they get a lot of attention and love. We want to make sure they feel as comfortable as possible while away from home, creating the perfect home away from home! We both work from home, so rest assured that someone will be around with your furry loved one. We will make sure they have several potty breaks, timely feeding, and are well taken care of. Your furry loved one will be in the house where we keep a close eye at all times. We also use gates periodically to close off sections of the house, especially while feeding, if necessary. We have a fenced yard where they can run around in which we usually also keep a close eye while they are out

They will be allowed on my couch and my bed. It's important to me they feel comfortable as it can be intimidating to be in a new environment.

About: I have a dog of my own and love playing with her in and outdoors, taking her on walks/runs and love spreading my love to other dogs too!! complete open availability!! I work in the park ridge area sporadically between the hours of 10-2 typically, so am available any times outside of those windows. I make sure to be extra careful, but gentle, with dogs of all sizes on their walks and have fun play time sessions with them while still keeping everything safe and staying high alert.

“I have two cats. One is a complete sweetie except he is now almost 17 and is on multiple medications. In discussion with the vet before my trip, the vet had "ideal" and "essential" medicine dispersal. In our meeting to go over things, it was clear she understood his medical issues, the various medicines and their priority and importance. Kimberly was diligent in administering the medicine most essential and getting at least one daily dose of the others, despite the cat hiding from her on several visits. (He is easy for me but I am told by prior sitters he fights the pills). What pleased me was that she kept him in good health without stressing him out to the point where he acted out like he did with previous sitter determined to administer pills. She knew how to balance stress and medicine. If you have a cat with health issues, I highly recommend Kimberly. Since my other cat is a high strung rescue who hides from everything, Kimberly did not interact with her directly but she reassured me of signs of eating, litter activity to show she hadn't escaped when she hadn't showed after 5 days. (that is very typical of this cat, even for longer visits so no reflection on Kimberly).”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life! And I worked at a dog shelter for 8 months before going to school and I loved every second of it! I do have a job! However I will do my best to make time usually dog check in are best at the moment or dog walking! I have two cats! Who are my world!! About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family since age 8, having been trusted to feed, wash, and play with dogs- I know my way around a dog park or two. ;) I also have house sat for dog owners before as well, so I am always observant and able to make sure your pup feels right at home, and your home stays looking best in show! I currently have open availability, with tons of time to play with and entertain your pups! I am able to house sit as well, if given a minimum of 3 days in advance! While I cannot board fur babies at my house, I am more than able to monitor and play with your furry friends at your home (and on walks of course!), as well as follow any certain rules or procedures one may have for their best furry friend!
