About: I started pet sitting as a teenager for neighbors and family friends. Since then, I have watched all types of dogs, including senior dogs. I became a dog owner for the first time in my mid-twenties. He was an elderly beagle mix with health issues. After he passed, I grieved until I was ready to own a dog again. Then I had ten wonderful years with Shadow, a husky mix who was a stray that made his way to a rescue. He bravely fought lymphoma for 1.5 years before succumbing to the disease. Through that time, I provided medication, took him for chemotherapy, and spoiled him until he decided it was time to cross the rainbow bridge. Shadow's absence still leaves a void in my heart that is filled by caring for other people's dogs. I love all types of dogs, and have experience with small to large, young and old, as well as dogs living with various health issues. Giving dog owners the security and piece of mind knowing their furry family members are safe and sound while they are away is a responsibility that I take very seriously. My husband and I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood and our backyard is fully fenced. As a dog lover himself, anyone who books with me gets their pup double the love. My full time job is permanently remote, so I am able to be at home with your dog at all times. No matter their schedule, I can meet it because I can be here to fulfill their needs. I have a fenced in yard for safety, and a dog-friendly neighborhood where your dog will feel right at home. I know every dog has different needs, so I can follow the habits you have created with them to maintain consistency. Whether that is crate training or sleeping on the couch, I will follow your instructions. I know that dogs are family, and treat them as such.

We explained ahead of time that she is immunocompromised and can’t be around other dogs unless we’re 100% sure they are vaccinated, so Doug & Deb made sure she was the only “guest” in their home that weekend. They were also very accommodating when we let them know a few days before our trip that our dog would be wearing a cone and needed some antibiotic cream applied after a toenail injury. And of course, they sent pictures and reports on how she was doing throughout her stay. We will definitely use their services again in the future!”

About: 23 years of dedication & genuine love for what I do. I've pretty much done it all except for training. Primarily grooming but also have extensive experience with walking, boarding, day care, home/vacation visits & house sits. I've been a home groomer for the past 8 years but due to allergies, need to switch modes. Over those years I regularly attended workshops & seminars to continue to educate myself & hone my craft. Including certification courses in puppy handling, senior care, proper sanitization, business compliance, skin assessment, & CPR. I am home based and plan to stay that way. Pets in my home will have a designated area for eating & sleeping but will have freedom to walk about for the most part. About: I’m newer to professional pet care, but I grew up with pets and have always felt comfortable around animals. I frequently help friends with their dogs, especially with walks and basic care. It is important to give each pup calm, focused attention. With my background as a detail oriented and caring social worker, I bring reliability, patience, and genuine compassion to every dog I look after. But it also means I am available full time during the breaks and Holidays to spend time with your doggo! During the week I work school hours but stay home for the weekend! I am a pet free household on a quiet side street. I am ready to give your pup all the love and attention. I have a fenced in entrance/small yard. I am childfree and it’s just me and my boyfriend! We both work in education and have so much time and love to give.

She was responsive to his high anxiety and tendency to want to act like an alpha towards strangers on the street, they were able to put him at ease so he could still enjoy some exercise and fresh air while out on walks in the city. Her resident dog Luna was very welcoming and friendly. It’s not easy leaving your loved one with a stranger, her daily check-ins helped alleviate the stress of that.
