About: Hi! My name is heather and I am a total dog and cat lover! No matter the breed, age or quirky personalities I love them all. I used to volunteer at a shelter in Iowa where I spent most of my time keeping the immuno-compromised cats and dogs company as they had to be isolated from the others in the shelter. Since then, I’ve trained my own dogs to be potty trained outside and be comfortable riding in cars. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for over 10 years. The longest I’ve cat sat was for 10 days and left a personal “journal” for the owners from the cats point of view. The longest I’ve dog sat was 7 days. I love walking dogs, The longer the walk the better so when mom and dad come home they are ready for all the cuddles. I'm bubbly and have been told I'm "high energy" so I love to play with animals but also know when it's time to just relax and be couch potatoes while watching Animal Planet. I've taken care of special needs dogs who are leash aggressive, I've worked with senior dogs who move a little more leisurely and I've worked with puppies - helping them get acclimated to walking with a leash and harness. I’m working full time as a physical therapist but am available to care for your loved furry friend Wednesdays and Fridays after 2:30. I am available Sundays after 1pm. I have a fenced back yard and my little guy loves to run around and chase leaves. Loves to sniff every twig. For my past clients I take their dogs for long walks in their neighborhood, sometimes run with them on lease if they have a ton of energy. I have the animal earn my trust first, put my hands out to sniff, allow them to approach me as I am a guest in their home. I love to lay on the floor with them, let them know I am a trusted friend.

About: I have taken care of a senior dog for about 5 years now. I have taken care of my lil pup for 4 years. I am currently certified in pet CPR and First aid(certification in photos). I live a active lifestyle and like to hike and take long walks. It is a constant in my life to take care of pets. I care for my own 4 year old Chihuahua/Yorkie mix and my brothers shih Tzu daily. I am available on weekdays after 5pm and all day on the weekends. In my clients homes I can readily walk there pets or let them out into there back yards. I can also crate your pet if that is something you prefer. If you leave feeding or medication instructions do not worry it will be completed and you will be notified.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. Growing up, our family dogs ranged from a big German Shepherd mix, to a Boxer, a Blue Heeler and finally down to dopey little Dachshund named Luther. That little ween stole my heart and now I’m completely hooked and have two of my own named Maisie and Miso. If you know dachshunds, you know they come with plenty of personality, stubbornness, and unique quirks. Having them has given me tons of patience, attentiveness, and a great understanding of how to handle dogs who like to do things their own way. Because of my experience with them and their challenges, I'm great at reading other dogs' needs, staying patient through stubborn moments, and keeping them safe and happy. Your pup will get all the love, attention, and careful supervision they deserve while hanging out with me. I do not have a regular work schedule as I am working on building a business. Because of that, I am very flexible and able to work with your needs. When it comes to safety, trust, and your pet's environment, I want you to feel completely at ease while you are away. I am more than happy to follow any and all instructions you provide down to the exact detail. If you don't have a rigid routine written out, don't worry at all; I will lean on my years of experience to pamper your dog, keep them comfortable, and give them the best possible care. About: I live near a walking trail for those that like a nice stroll, or for those that don’t I also have a few comfy couches to relax on. As a foster pet parent, I’m familiar with providing medications if needed. I typically work from home and am able to care for your pet while you’re away. My cats are friendly and use to foster cats so they’ll either play with your cat our leave them be. No matter what, your cat will not be alone. My home has multiple floors with large litter boxes on each floor, there is plenty of space and lots to explore. We have different dietary needs for our cats so I can definitely accommodate any specific dietary needs.
