About: I’ve cared for 7 dogs and 2 cats throughout their full life span, from puppyhood and kittenhood to senior years, including pets with special senior care needs. I’m confident handling large dogs and focus on structured walks, mental stimulation, and enriching playtime. As a psychotherapist, patience, intuition, and compassionate care come naturally to me. My schedule is very flexible I'm currently part time and work from home. I can be available on notice from 9am-10pm. I am able to do daily and weekly care/walking/play. I have a fenced yard. Two cats who are used to visitors and other animals. I can also crate animal if requested, use baby fence and adapt to living requirements specific to client needs.
“We have worked with Coleen a ton if times now to watch our pets, and every time has been an amazing experience. She has always given everything we asked. Tons of updates, photos, and most of all the security to be gone without worrying our pets are in good hands. We cannot recommend Coleen enough.”

“This was very pleasant experience. I loved getting pictures and knowing she was well taken care of. Andrea took her for walks and gave her allergy meds. I definitely will book her again for house sitting.”

“Loren watched our 2 pit mixes and it was a great experience. She was very communicative and gave us daily updates and photos of the pups. They were worn out and happy when we returned and Loren kept the house spotless. We will for sure be using Loren again.”

“First time using Rover and we blown away with the love and care that Stephanie gave to our girls! The dogs were so happy and well cared for, and so was our home. I honestly believe the home looked better when we came home, than how we left it! I highly recommend her services - we will definitely use her again!!!”

“Jo took amazing care of our dog, Pip while we were on our honeymoon. She quickly created a routine for Pip that was engaging and consistent while we were away so Pip wasn't left wondering or anxious. Great communication and very professional, highly recommend Jo!”

“Diane was such a blessing. She has a really sweet and caring demeanor and we knew right away she was the right sitter to watch our fur babies. In our week long trip she took great care of our home and 2 dogs and kept in touch throughout our trip. We feel relieved to have found her and will definitely rebook with her. Thank you Diane!!”

“Stephanie pup sat and house sat for us while we were out of town for over a week and she was FANTASTIC every step of the way. She came over to meet our two pups and they instantly connected, even our doggo who’s a bit of a scaredy cat loved her instantly. We explained the flow of a typical day before we left, and throughout the trip we never for a second worried that Stephanie needed extra reminders or pings. Stephanie sent us regular updates and pics of the pups as they explored the neighborhood on their leashed walks. Stephanie was also very clean and treated our place with a ton of respect - we’d had the place cleaned before we left and it looked even cleaner and tidier when we got back. Overall we were really happy with Stephanie, who helped us out immeasurably while also juggling her work. Our pups were well taken care of, our place was looked after, and I honestly can’t remember another trip we took where we didn’t have to worry at all about how our girls were doing, and we have Stephanie to thank for that!”

“Hanna is fantastic! She took such good care of our two dogs and our home while we were away. She is very communicative and sent us photos and messages with updates every day. We've already booked a second dog/house sit with her for a few weeks out!”

“Serenity was a wonderful help with my year old pup! She played and cuddled with him and made sure all his needs were taken care of. She communicated very well and quelled all the anxiety I had about leaving him for more than a few hours. I’ll definitely be reaching out to her for any further help!”

“Renee was great with our dog Winnie! She sent lots of photos, updates and was flexible on the timing of our sit. Winnie has some anxiety that Renee managed with patience and understanding. We will definitely have Renee sit for us again!”

“Camille, is the absolute GOAT of dog care. She spent plenty of time hanging with them, sent me pictures multiple times a day with hilarious captions, and showed them lots of love. She absolutely went above and beyond, my boys love her. Thanks Camille, you rock!”
“Casey was amazing! She took the time to learn about my dogs and their needs before her stay. She asked great questions about their personalities, behaviors, and training. While I was away, my three dogs were well cared for and Casey took great care with my home as well. I would highly recommend Casey!”

“Liz did a great job caring for our large crew of 2 dogs and 3 cats! She was responsive and her calm confidence was reassuring, especially given that we were "off the grid" for some of our trip. She also coordinated the handoff of responsibility with a friend who was petsitting for some of the time we were gone. I appreciated that she sent pictures when she arrived, and left a note to let us know how things went. We also had a flight delay on the way home, and she was willing to stick around to make sure the pets were cared for in case we were further delayed. I highly recommend her!”
“Anna was sweet and kind. She stopped by for a house visit, do a meet-and-greet, and chat. She was absolutely the right person and will use her again. She kept in touch, sent photos, asked questions if she needed anything, which was rare because she had everything absolutely under control. Do not hesitate to hire Anna!”

“I couldn’t be happier with Tetiana’s services. I felt at ease knowing my pets were well taken care of. She kept me informed of anything out of the ordinary with my pets and she shared pictures and videos which reassured me that all my little ones were enjoying her company. I was really surprised to see my two most timid kittens warm up to her and be out of hiding while she was here. Normally those same two kittens hide until strangers leave my house even with me around. So that just made me feel at ease, all the pets loved her and felt comfortable enough to be out and spend time with her.”

“Veronica was so great with Tyson! She's extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. As Tyson gets older he can be a little more difficult to care for but Veronica did amazing! Highly recommend!”

About: Hi! My name is heather and I am a total dog and cat lover! No matter the breed, age or quirky personalities I love them all. I used to volunteer at a shelter in Iowa where I spent most of my time keeping the immuno-compromised cats and dogs company as they had to be isolated from the others in the shelter. Since then, I’ve trained my own dogs to be potty trained outside and be comfortable riding in cars. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for over 10 years. The longest I’ve cat sat was for 10 days and left a personal “journal” for the owners from the cats point of view. The longest I’ve dog sat was 7 days. I love walking dogs, The longer the walk the better so when mom and dad come home they are ready for all the cuddles. I'm bubbly and have been told I'm "high energy" so I love to play with animals but also know when it's time to just relax and be couch potatoes while watching Animal Planet. I've taken care of special needs dogs who are leash aggressive, I've worked with senior dogs who move a little more leisurely and I've worked with puppies - helping them get acclimated to walking with a leash and harness. I’m working full time as a physical therapist but am available to care for your loved furry friend Wednesdays and Fridays after 2:30. I am available Sundays after 1pm. I have a fenced back yard and my little guy loves to run around and chase leaves. Loves to sniff every twig. For my past clients I take their dogs for long walks in their neighborhood, sometimes run with them on lease if they have a ton of energy. I have the animal earn my trust first, put my hands out to sniff, allow them to approach me as I am a guest in their home. I love to lay on the floor with them, let them know I am a trusted friend.
Norridge pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ashley did a great job staring at our home at taking good care of our 11 year old Staffordshire Terrier. She stayed at our home for a full week and followed all instructions, kept us posted with updates, and provided pictures and videos throughout the stay. She even walked the dog in the freezing cold! We very much appreciated her services and would gladly welcome her back to our home and with our pup!

Alexandra was the perfect match for our dog. He can have pretty bad separation anxiety, but I didn’t have to worry about him with Alexandra. She stayed with him an entire week and was very patient and understanding. She was super punctual, professional, and communicative. She sent me frequent pictures and texts and always responding quickly to messages. We came home to a happy and calm pup and a clean house! Would highly recommend her!

Add did a good job as a sitter taking care of our senior dog with lots of anxiety. She was a good companion for him, especially for overnight stays. This was a much better experience for him than the last drop-off sitter we used. Ann took care of our house and followed most of our instructions very well.
