Pet care experience

I'm a Pied Piper!

I grew up in a household with dogs, cats and parrots (in other words - a zoo!) and went on to show toy dogs and start a rescue group for puppy mill dogs. My rescue work requires a deep understanding of canine psychology and patience to facilitate the rehabilitation process for dogs who have never known caring human touch or experienced all the "scary" things (the hustle and bustle of city life, loud noises, young children, etc.) their new world offers. I also worked for a suburban pet sitting agency for ten years before deciding to strike out on my own. While working at the agency, I garnered a reputation for being the best working with more challenging pets and those who have special needs. I will love your pet as my own and do everything in my power to keep him or her safe, happy and healthy. I also provide transportation services to the vet, doggy daycare, and groomer.

Liz was amazing with out 3 cats while we were out of the country! She communicated anything that came up and her experience with sitting and caring for a variety of animals gave us a sense of relief when we were far away. She made sure each cat got some attention, food, play time, and helped keep their space clean and tidy.

Liz was great! Our dog can be a little stand offish at times but bonded with Liz right away.

We just got back from a week long vacation and I cannot tell you how relieved I was that Liz was with our pups. She was able to handle their vast personalities and medical needs effortlessly. We have a very skittish rescue who I was worried about the most. Much to my relief I came home to a very happy puppy...I think she not so secretly misses Liz. She sent us lots of photos and funny stories about the girls. It really helped put me at ease. Thank you again Liz, I feel so much better about the idea of vacations now that I know I have someone I can leave the girls with who will care for them like they are their own.

I love all breeds. For those with sighthounds, I am your woman! Sighthounds have unique personalities and extra care needs to be taken to ensure their safety. I am owned by several Italian Greyhounds and two whippets so I understand their desire to chase, their athleticism and the need to give them the opportunity to exercise while ensuring they have no opportunities to get loose or injure themselves.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
