About: I worked at a dog daycare/boarding place at the Wag Hotels Schiller Park location for 2 1/2 years: feeding, cleaning their rooms, giving medications and more! I have great experience with both cats and all types of dogs and have always enjoyed my time spent with the animals! :) I also have my own animals at home that I take care of— both a dog and a cat. I am taking classes during the week and my schedule will be more packed during the weekdays, so weekends would be the best for me to work with! Unfortunately I cannot house pets during the day or overnight as I am in school, but I am available for drop in visits, dog-walking, and possibly future pet sitting opportunities!

About: I grew up with my dog Benji, he made it to 11 and was basically my childhood best friend. I also had a cat named Azula who I lost pretty young, at 4, due to health issues, so I know what it's like to deal with a pet's health stuff too, not just the fun parts. I've fostered cats through Paws and Claws in Evanston and gotten a bunch of them adopted into good homes. On top of that I've pet sat for a lot of my friends' dogs and cats when they're out of town, feeding them, walking them, just hanging out so they're not alone and stressed. I'm patient, I show up when I say I will, and I treat every animal like it's mine. I work full-time at ICOY (Illinois Collaboration on Youth), a nonprofit, and it's hybrid. I'm home Friday through Monday, so those days I'm pretty much around and available all day unless I'm in a Zoom meeting, which never runs longer than an hour. Tuesday through Thursday I'm in the office, but I can do dog walks or pet sitting after 5pm those days too. I have a fenced backyard, no grass, but there's a gravel section we used to use for our old dog since he was from California and hated snow, so it worked great during the winter months. I also live right across from Wilson Park, so I've got easy access there, and honestly I'll walk further out to Jefferson Park or Portage Park too since I grew up around here and know the area well. When I'm working from home and the weather's decent, I like to work outside in the backyard, and your pet is welcome to hang out with me since it's fenced in. I've had pets of my own before, so I already know what products are safe, and I keep the space set up so nothing's around that could hurt them.

Liz was amazing with out 3 cats while we were out of the country! She communicated anything that came up and her experience with sitting and caring for a variety of animals gave us a sense of relief when we were far away. She made sure each cat got some attention, food, play time, and helped keep their space clean and tidy.
Chris was wonderful! I can’t say enough good things. My cats are very shy and he had them literally eating out of his hands on day one. He kept me informed with photos and texts and was so gentle and kind. I felt completely safe and full of trust that he had them comfortable during the heatwave that hit this week. He even did some random house tasks. He is incredible. Book him. Pay him. Tip him. It’s more than worth it.
Keri was so great with our 4 cats. She took such great care of them. There were some detailed feeding instructions and she followed them completely. She opened the windows for the cats while she was there (weather permitting per my request)so they could watch the birds. When out wifi went out she helped us out with rebooting the router. She was able to get the visits in when the weather was really bad. Great communication and we loved the daily pics she sent. She was so wonderful with our cats, we could not have been happier.
We had a great experience with Jackie. She came to our home daily to feed and check on our cat. Jackie was always on time, reliable, kind and cared about making sure our cat was comfortable and well taken care of. We loved seeing pictures she sent. Her son played with our cat which made us so happy and reassured that our cat was getting extra love and attention. It gave us a real peace of mind when we were away.
