“Odalys went above and beyond with my five cats while I was on vacation. She updated me at every visit as to how they were all doing. My cats enjoyed her company. She followed all of my instructions. I would definitely have her take care of my cats again when I go on my next vacation...without hesitation!”

“Brian is an outstanding sitter! I was in the hospital having a baby and was experiencing so much stress finding a trustworthy person to watch my senior pit bull in my home. He cannot be boarded or crated. My dog has separation anxiety and Brian was able to help calm him and walk him or just hang out at the house with him when he needed a nap. Unexpectedly, my daughter needed to stay in the hospital and Brian was flexible and understanding. You are a life safer. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking great care of my dog-son.”

About: I worked in the doggy daycare industry for over 5 years and have plenty of experience caring for dogs with special needs, and of all different sizes and breeds. Shortly after leaving the industry to pursue another career path, I ended up really missing my camp days so i started dog sitting for family, friends and any/all of their referrals. It’s been about 5-6 years of helping family/friends with their pups and now that I have more freedom working from home, I’d love to share my time with your furry friends/family. I currently work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups. Working from home gives me more availability for any of your last minute needs. I have a fenced in yard which is perfect for playing fetch/catch to burn off a little extra energy. If your pup isn’t as active, they can use the space for a nice sunbathing session.

“Crystal was great! She was so good with our dogs - got right down on the floor when she met them and they loved her. She had great communication and we will definitely use her again!”
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, especially dogs. I’ve worked in customers homes dealing with new pets almost daily. I often care for dogs from puppies, all the way to seniors with health issues. Most pets tend to like me, even the feisty ones. I’m currently off for the summer before starting school again, so I have a very flexible schedule, reliable transportation, and plenty of energy for fun walks and quality pet care. I always try to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in both my home and my clients’ homes. I follow each pet’s routine closely, give them patience and attention, and make sure they feel calm, exercised, and loved while their owners are away.
About: My family has rescued animals my whole life, and I have worked with all kinds of animals professionally since my very first job at a dog groomer. Since then, I've spent most of my time working at emergency animal vets, with foster dogs, and at doggie daycare! I love working with all species of animals and will treat yours just like my own! I'm here to make sure your pets feel happy, loved, and safe while you're away. I currently have a pretty open schedule and am looking to care for pets full time. I can easily do late nights and early mornings! When I stay in your home, I stick closely to your pet's normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. I'll make sure they're fed on time, exercised, and getting lots of attention (and cuddles if they want them!) I pay close attention to each pet's needs and act accordingly. I pride myself on being dependable and having strong communication skills. I will always keep you updated with messages and pictures so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

“Eren is awesome!! Very professional, warm and friendly! She is very communicative and great with my little guy! She ensured everything I asked her to do for him and my place was done right!”

About: 23 years of dedication & genuine love for what I do. I've pretty much done it all except for training. Primarily grooming but also have extensive experience with walking, boarding, day care, home/vacation visits & house sits. I've been a home groomer for the past 8 years but due to allergies, need to switch modes. Over those years I regularly attended workshops & seminars to continue to educate myself & hone my craft. Including certification courses in puppy handling, senior care, proper sanitization, business compliance, skin assessment, & CPR. This only means I have been educated on these subjects, I am not an expert. As mentioned, I was a home groomer so I'll be turning my grooming room into an area for daycare/boarding. I am home based and plan to stay that way. Pets in my home will have a designated area for eating & sleeping but will have freedom to walk about for the most part. I have a large, fenced back yard with plenty of space to run & play. The yard will be the primary potty area. Walks are available for an added charge. Caring for pets in the clients home will be based on the instructions given by owner.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for almost all my life! I am mostly accustomed to adult pets but additionally have some experience with puppies. I currently work part time so I am available to care for your pets! Can stop by for play-time, meal-time, or for a potty break. I enjoy spending time with animals and can be flexible with my time to meet your pets needs. I would to love to work with you to learn your pet’s personality and what things they enjoy doing in order to provide the best care I possibly can for them. I am very reliable and dependable.
About: I have loved animals my whole life and have experience caring for pets of different kinds. Back in Ukraine, I have a cat named Kuzya who is still very dear to me and whom I miss every day. I was responsible for his daily care, feeding, cleaning the litter box, and making sure he felt safe and comfortable. Growing up, I also had a dog (a Jagdterrier), a parrot, and a hamster, so I understand the needs of both energetic and small pets. I am comfortable with walking dogs, playing with them, feeding, giving fresh water, and providing calm companionship for cats. Although I don’t currently have pets in the U.S., I truly miss being around animals. That’s one of the main reasons I joined Rover — I would love to spend time caring for pets and giving them attention, love, and reliable care while their owners are away. I am responsible, organized, patient, and I will always treat your pet as if they were my own. Due to my college schedule, I am available on Mondays and Wednesdays around midday. On Saturdays, I may have availability depending on the time. I am not available on Sundays. On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I may have availability with advance notice. I am flexible when scheduled ahead of time and always do my best to accommodate your pet’s need. Please feel free to message me to confirm availability. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully and make sure pets feel safe and comfortable. I securely attach leashes during walks, double-check doors, and never leave pets unattended. I respect your home and treat your pet with patience, care, and attention.
“We were really nervous about going on vacation for two weeks, that was the longest we had left our dogs behind. Thankfully Jarrett made us feel so comfortable knowing he could handle our energetic big dogs. The daily updates were awesome. Not only did he follow feeding, walking and daily instructions but he went above and beyond for our fur babies. We cannot thank Jarrett enough!”

“Paulina was amazing with my dog Turbo! She treated him like her own and was patient with him and his needs especially with him being a puppy. I would recommend her to anyone and will continue to keep on rebooking her whenever I need to!”

About: I had my first dog at just 6 years old and my love for animals had been growing ever since😊I currently have a dog of my own who is 5 years old! I’ve had her since she was a puppy (day she was born lol!) due to an accidental litter from my dog(who unfortunately passed away and is her mother) and my moms dog! So I am very good with puppy training as well😊I am good with administering medicine as needed for your fur baby if that is something you need! I work 3 night time 12 hour shifts Friday-Sunday so I am free during the week! I am in nursing school as well but as of now my classes are online! I can keep your fur baby company and play with them. I’m very good with animals of all kinds and making them comfortable around me! I offer companionship and treats lol! I love long walks for dogs so they will get plenty of potty breaks and lots of outside time!
“Cheryl was great with our dog Luna. She came to meet with her a week before and answered our questions. On the day of the visit Cheryl was great and provided us an update and pictures and Luna clearly had a great time.”

About: I’ve often been told I’m a bit of a “dog whisperer” because pups seem to gravitate toward me, and I think it’s because they can sense my genuine love for animals. I’ve been a dog lover since childhood, growing up with 4 family dogs, and that passion has only grown over the years. I recently cared for my own senior pomeranian, who lived to 18, so I understand the patience, gentleness, and extra attention that senior pups need. On the other end of the spectrum, I know the energy and consistency it takes to care for playful puppies. Right now, I share my home with two spoiled rescue dogs, Chico (chihuahua) and Squeaks (tripod Pomeranian) who remind me daily how much joy and comfort pets bring into our lives and family. I have taught my dogs how to sit, stay, down, shake, come, and spin. So maybe I can even teach your dog some new tricks :) I also know how stressful it can be to leave your furry family member at home. My goal is to be their bright spot while you’re away, whether that’s a walk, a potty break, or simply some kisses, belly rubs, and companionship. I’ll treat your dog like one of my own! I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule to fit in drop-ins, potty breaks, quick walks (10-15) min, kisses and belly rubs during the day while you are away! Right now I only offer drop-ins, potty breaks, and quick walks for your furry babies. I do not offer any home services at my personal residence. If any service is requested outside of the normal services offered, I would be happy to help and discuss prior to my drop-in visit.
Northlake cat parents share their Rover experiences
Brian did an excellent job as usual checking on our cat while we were away and making sure that everything was in order. He took the time to play and interact with her, give her treats, and change her food and water. We are super appreciative of you Brian!
