8. Cristina M.
About: I have had a love for animals since I was a young child. At the age of 8, against my parents wishes I snuck in an abandoned cat and it ended up being where my love for animals began. We have had many types of pets since then. Currently we have a 3 year-old German Shepherd whom we rescued from a shelter at 4 months of age. We also have a 1 year old Australian Cattle dog who is super energetic. I love spending time with animals, dogs in particular, because they are so playful, happy and full of unconditional love. I am responsible, caring and will take great care of you pet because I know that they are not only “pets” but are also members of your family. I will care for your pet like I would care for my own pets. I work full-time as a nurse practitioner but just started working some days from home. I figured, why not do something I love while also getting exercise at the same time. I am able to mainly available for pet care on the weekends. I am able to accomplish most evening/late evening or very early morning walks. Every other Tuesday I work from home so am able to break up my schedule this day. I care for my dogs in my backyard, which is fenced in. She is able to run around freely because we do have a large yard which allows her to burn off her energy. We also play fetch and she is able to spend a lot of her time running around there. We also go for walks around the neighborhood.

9. Elena G.
“Our fur buddy Highway has received great care when Elena has done our pet sitting. Elena is always prompt and she is a genuine, caring animal lover.”

10. Michael M.
“Mike loves dogs and being around them. He used to get on the ground and roll around with one of our friend’s dogs whenever we went over there. Definitely enjoys playing and being around dogs; with the backyard of his home as well as his neighborhood and dog-park nearby, he has the facilities to take care of multiple animals at once”

11. Leah S.

“Cannot recommend Leah enough! She is very reliable and responsible, easy to communicate with! Provides many updates and pictures.Little Simba enjoys his walks with Leah. 10/10!”

12. Sarah W.

“Sarah does a great job communicating about how our dog does on every walk. She is always on time and we feel good knowing Henry is in good hands while I’m away!”

13. Mark C.
“Mark is a very caring and kind family man. He has a wife and 7-year-old daughter who would love to have a pet in the house. We had a dog when he was younger, and had the dog from puppy until he passed away. Mark has a fenced in yard and is able to have a dog safely to play outdoors. I would recommend Mark as a wonderful pet sitter.”

14. Jennifer D.
“Jennifer has been an animal lover for her entire life. As a young child, she learned quickly to treat pets with love and respect. I no longer have pets but wouldn’t hesitate to hire her if I did.”

15. Melanie M.
About: What makes me experienced, you say? I have five cats and two dogs; one is a pit bull, and the other is a Doberman. Therefore, no matter the breed or size, it is no problem. I have a veterinary assistant certification, so administering medication is an easy breeze with clear instructions. I've trained both my dogs and would love to share it with other furry friends. I'm currently working part-time; I'm flexible with my schedule and time, but of course, communication is key! I work Monday-Friday from 3-6:15 pm yet I'm available all morning and a bit in the afternoon. I can do weekends as well! I will stick to any daily routines that you have in place for your pet (i.e. feeding, potty/walks, medication if needed). I have a secured fenced-in yard for them to play. If you would like to bring some of their favorite toys, beds or anything that helps them feel at home I have more than enough room and encourage it for comfort.

16. Urany A.
“I have known Urany for more than 20+ years. She is friendly, loving, respectful and responsible. She loves pets but definitely is a dog lover. She has been a dog owner herself for as long as I’ve known her. Her pets mean the world to her and she is always attentive to their needs! You can definitely trust her to take care of your dog. As I and others have trusted her to take care of our dogs while out of town for days at a time.”

17. Cheryl T.
“Cheryl, is loving, compassionate, and truly amazing with animals (I think of her as Dr. Doolittle). Someone hit and killed a possum in front of her house. She checked on it, saw that there were baby possums in the pouch. She contacted the humane society, the would not come get them. She then took the live babies out, fed them and drove them to the humane society herself. I have never seen anyone love their fur babies (her dogs through the years) deeper than she does. She will go out of her way for them, and if you ask she will do it for yours too!”

18. Monica B.

“so fast to respond and accommodate us!! loved the pictures, too! thank you!!”

19. Andrea R.
“Hello, I have known Andrea for over 10 years. She has always been known for being a huge animal lover. She has cared for many animals in her life all happy and healthy. Any question I have about animals I ask her. She is truly the sweetest most kind hearted being I have met. She has cared from the youngest animals to the oldest. She is a blessing to all furry friends and would make an amazing asset to the Rover family.”

20. Janette G.
“Janette has been around dogs her whole life. She is a very caring individual and loves all animals. She has always take of her pets at home. Makes a point of taking the dog outside to play/run in the backyard or even go for a walk.”
