I cannot say enough nice things about Natalie! I booked her last minute when the regular walker couldn’t make it, like less than an hour and a half. Not only did she reply right away, but she basically headed straight there. She was incredibly patient with Caesar who can sometimes be reluctant to go on his walks with new people. I booked her for an hour walk, but she went over that time to allow him to get comfortable with her before walking him. She communicated throughout the whole session and made me feel less anxious. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Natalie. I will definitely book her again and you should too.

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give every pet as if they were my own. My love for animals comes from raising my own dogs, especially my sweet girl, Roxi, whom I was fortunate to have from the time she was a puppy until she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in February 2026 at 15 years old. Caring for her through every stage of life gave me firsthand experience with senior dog care, medication schedules, mobility assistance, and the extra patience, compassion, and love that aging pets deserve. I'm comfortable maintaining feeding routines, administering oral medications, providing potty breaks, and recognizing when a dog's behavior or health seems out of the ordinary. I understand that every dog has a different personality, energy level, and comfort needs, and I adapt my care to make them feel safe, relaxed, and loved. For puppies, I'm happy to reinforce the training and routines you're already working on, including crate training, potty schedules, basic commands, and positive reinforcement. I know consistency is important, and I'll follow your instructions to help keep your puppy on track. You'll also receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, comfortable, and in caring hands. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. Pet care fits well into my schedule because I work a hybrid full-time position, which allows me flexibility throughout the week. I carefully manage my calendar and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to, ensuring every pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it's morning walks, evening visits, overnight stays, or weekend care, I plan my schedule around each pet's needs. I believe reliability and consistency are just as important as love and affection, so I make it a priority to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 7 years old. I’ve raised many puppies and taken care of them into their senior days. I’ve provided pure love, safety, care, and tons of cuddles with many many many doggies. My own throughout my entire life, and for many friends, neighbors, family, and clients. My schedule is pretty open and flexible right now. So I’d have all the time to give your pups all my time and attention. Availability 7 days a week. I have a fenced yard. A safety gate blocking the stairs to the basement so no little doggies that might have trouble slipping on stairs can get to them or the basement. A dogs safety is always my utmost priority.

About: Hello! My name is Monica and I’m 26 years old. I have lived with both cats and dogs my whole life. I work at an Animal Hospital and my passion is to care for animals. My dog (Akita) passed away a few years ago, he lived 14 long and incredible years and survived two cancers. I recently lost my cat of 16 years as well, she unfortunately had kidney failure and thyroid disease. I miss them every day. I currently have two rescued cats that mean the world to me. I would love to get the chance to meet and care for your pets. I believe this would help me feel fulfilled and bring some light back into my life. I have connections to vets and would make sure your baby is always safe. I have a heart filled with love ready to give to your little or big four legged family member. I work part time and have a love for animals. Working at the vet allows me to provide a healthy lifestyle for your pet. I am not ready to adopt my own dog just yet as I’m still grieving so being able to take care of your fur babies brings light back into my life! I live in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced yard with a few nearby parks. I have two very lovable cats, but I have a two story house and can easily separate the pets. I would love your pet just like my own.

About: 23 years of dedication & genuine love for what I do. I've pretty much done it all except for training. Primarily grooming but also have extensive experience with walking, boarding, day care, home/vacation visits & house sits. I've been a home groomer for the past 8 years but due to allergies, need to switch modes. Over those years I regularly attended workshops & seminars to continue to educate myself & hone my craft. Including certification courses in puppy handling, senior care, proper sanitization, business compliance, skin assessment, & CPR. This only means I have been educated on these subjects, I am not an expert. As mentioned, I was a home groomer so I'll be turning my grooming room into an area for daycare/boarding. I am home based and plan to stay that way. Pets in my home will have a designated area for eating & sleeping but will have freedom to walk about for the most part. I have a large, fenced back yard with plenty of space to run & play. The yard will be the primary potty area. Walks are available for an added charge. Caring for pets in the clients home will be based on the instructions given by owner.

About: Being a bunny owner, I take a very patient approach towards each animal I am caring for. I prefer to know their habits and quirks before I begin our journey of knowing each other. I pay very close attention to each animals body language and move forwards based on that. Growing up I was extremely obsessed with my families dogs and cats. My first pet was a grey cockatiel bird that I rescued, shortly after I got my first yellow lab. Ever since, I have been very involved in taking care of many of my family or friends pets while they are away. I have taken care of extremely small puppies, fish, birds, bunnies, and cats, to nervous, and anxious big labs ! I heavily enjoy spending time next to a furry creature and I even have a bunny of my own named Diva. She has been a very long lesson in attention to attitude when it comes to handling an animal. I am more than available during the day or night to take care of any animal, I do not have a current job so I am free during awkward hours. I make sure to follow the directions my clients have left for me, I often ask more information on the personality of the animal so I understand our boundaries !

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life, in all shapes and sizes. Ever since I was old enough, I have been pet/dog sitting for my neighbors and family friends. Currently having a senior dog, I understand that some pets need special medication, food, etc. I am more than happy to provide whatever type of care your furry family members need to feel comfortable. I am in the Masters of Occupational Therapy program at Elmhurst University. I have 1-2 classes Monday-Thursday, as well as coaching for club lacrosse. I am pretty flexible with dates and times for pet sitting. I want to make sure your pets are as comfortable and happy as possible while you are away. My focus is to give them lots of love and attention, as well as provide exercise through walks and playing in the backyard.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, they’ve always held a special place in my heart. From dogs and cats to horses and more, I love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, explore, or simply enjoys calm company, I’ll care for them with the same love, patience, and attention I’d give my own fur babies! As a licensed esthetician, I create my own schedule & have the flexibility to work around your pet’s routine, making scheduling stress free for both of us. You can count on me to be dependable, respectful of your home, and to keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in loving, capable hands. Pet care has always been a natural part of my day to day routine because I’ve grown up around animals & have cared for pets for majority of my life. I work part time as an esthetician, meaning I can create my own schedule, which gives me flexibility throughout the week for walks, visits, & overnight stays! The pet’s safety, comfort, & routine would be my highest priorities. I like to take the time to learn each pet’s personality, feeding schedule, medications, favorite activities, etc so they feel secure and cared for. I have experience being around cats and dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I understand that every animal has different comfort zones and boundaries. Whether your pet is shy, playful, independent, or needs extra patience, I always respect their pace. I’ll l keep your home clean, follow your instructions carefully, & provide regular photo and video updates so you always know how your furry family members are doing.🐾

About: Hello Fur Family’s & Friends! 🐕🐾 My name is Lauren. Nice to e-meet you. 👋 I’ve been an animal lover my entire life, from dogs, to rodents (pet rats & ferret) in college, to cats, and reptiles (lizards), but FurBabies are my favorite family addition. Currently work full time from home, and bartend part time at nights, locally. Single mom, with (2) Preteen/teenage boys enrolled in year-round sports. Elizabeth continues to be a very reliable and loving dog sitter, whom our dog adores! She not only walks Lily, but she plays with her on days that aren’t nice (their favorite game is soccer!) and takes the time to make sure she’s happy and cared for during each visit. Elizabeth watches our dog weekly, and we couldn’t be happier with her communication and the extra care she consistently puts in.

  • 95% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
