“Sam was a life saver-she responded last minute to care for my dog. Came by for several walks and was very good with my baby. I would recommend Sam with flying colors. Thank you so much!”

About: I've been surrounded by the pets of friends and family for my whole life, as a college student, I love petsitting over summer break! I've worked with a diverse range of animals, providing care such as baths, walks, feeding, and most importantly, cuddling! I have experience with dogs with anxiety who need medication as well. I have tons of free time over summer break, and I'd love to help out with your furry friends. Currently on summer break, so pet care would fit seamlessly into my schedule. I'm used to dedicating my summers to animal care, so driving to multiple locations for feedings/walks multiple times a day, or overnight stays, is no problem. I live in an apartment with no front or back yard but am located right across the street from a large park. It may be a little small, but there is more than enough room for animals to roam around. As for pet care outside of the home, I take these duties very seriously and am more than happy to visit multiple times a day, or as necessary. I also frequently take pictures/videos to send updates, and am happy to do so at your immediate request.
About: I love dogs. I regularly foster dogs from the humane society and I have experience taking care of old and sick dogs as well as puppies. I live in Hawaii 9 months of the year, so I am not always on Rover, but I do keep my calendar updated and love to watch dogs while I'm here and my boyfriend is working full time I always wake up early to feed my dogs, I am not working full time, and I love to play and interact with dogs all day, and also to take them on walks. Some days that's my only exercise honestly! Lol We love to go on walks. My neighborhood is great for dog walking. My home is very dog friendly with lots of different sleeping possibilities for pets. I have separate areas for feeding dogs so no one is competing for food.
“Marissa’s dependability is unwavering, and she’s there for our family when we need her most! With a husband who travels for work, two kids who go to two different schools, and no fenced yard, it’s imperative we have reliable dog walking b/c I just can’t do it all! Marissa helps lighten the load with a compassionate smile & love for our pup. We are SO grateful for her!”

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, including a German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, and Pitbull mix, so I’m very comfortable with both large and high-energy breeds. I also have experiences with extended stay puppy sitting where I managed feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and creating a calm, structured environment. I understand how important consistency, patience, and attentiveness are, especially with puppies. I’m currently preparing to welcome a Golden Retriever puppy of my own, so I’m very intentional about creating safe, positive experiences for dogs. I work Monday through Friday but my partner is currently home all day, so someone will always be there to care for your dog! We are open to boarding any night. Walks I am primarily available after work or sometimes the morning before. My partner is currently available most anytime! We are both reliable and detail oriented. We are prepping to bring in our very own golden retriever puppy, so will treat your dog as if they are our own! As mentioned above I work Mon-Friday roughy 8-4. My partner is currently home throughout the day so someone will always be there to care for your dog. We are open to boarding almost any day especially weekends where we are both home. Walks and drop ins work best for me before work hours or after but my partner has open availability so between us we can accommodate to you! Feel free to ask if you have any specific availability questions! :) Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I live in a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment and am very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and safety during walks and care. I always keep dogs securely leashed on walks, avoid unsafe situations, and closely monitor their behavior and well-being. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your dog, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m reliable, respectful of your home, and committed to providing a safe and positive experience. I’m also happy to send regular photo and video updates so you always feel confident and connected while your dog is in my care.

About: I have been watching my friends’, family’s, and neighbors’ pets for 5+ years now. I offer a “Wow” factor of service that goes beyond the traditional water, food, bathroom routine. When I care for any pet, I take the extra care and time to play and cuddle so your fuzzy friend is never lonely. I make sure to bring my Polaroid camera to take pictures of your pet while you’re away so you never miss a moment and can display your cutie anywhere in the home - completely complimentary! I also have extensive experience with administering medicines like liquids, pills and subcutaneous fluids to differently abled pets. My own cat has needed each of those in the past so I have grown comfortable doing so and take extra care in the practice. My service is exemplary; neighbors who no longer live close to me still call me up to take care of their pets. I can’t wait to take care of yours! I am a primary grades teacher on summer break. This means I have lots of unused patience I typically spend on my little ones to use on taking care of your beloved pets and household, as well as lots of time on my hands to attend to your needs! I care for any pet like they are my pet. As a pet owner myself, it is so hard being away and worrying how they’re doing. When I leave them in others’ care, I would hope they care for my pet like they are their own. I take this philosophy into the homes and lives of others. With extensive practice in child care, pet care and medicine management, and house sitting, I will come to your aid with a lens of empathy and compassion.
“Fanni is wonderful and I felt at ease when Chomper was in her care. She is communicative, responsible, and even braved walking up 13 flights of stairs when the elevator in my building was out. I am so appreciative of her time and would highly recommend her for any pet care needs!”

“Jamie was awesome with our dog! She’s extremely detail oriented, conscientious, timely and really oriented around his well being. We’d love to have her help again in the future!”

About: Hi there! My name is Julie and I’m a third year medical student and a mom to a 4-year-old cat named Theo. Ever since I had my first pet hamster at the age of 7, I’ve loved hanging out with and taking care of our furry friends. I spent my childhood volunteering in animal shelters and taking care of my aunt’s dog. During my time in medical school, I adopted my cat Theo, who has been the best companion to sit alongside while studying. I have experience in dog walking and dog/cat/house sitting for various friends and clients in the Forest Park/Oak Park area and would love to branch out and meet new furry friends! As a pet parent myself, I understand how anxious it can be to be away from your pets, so I always make sure to send ample and detailed updates with photos while I am with them. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends 💕 My schedule fluctuates but I am flexible and always open to communicating to work out a schedule that works for you and the furry friend! I have a passion for taking care of others, whether they be people or animals! Safety and comfort of your pet will always come first.
“Very grateful for Jessica! She has been doing daily walks with my senior dog and giving him lunch while I’m at work. She takes great care of him and it’s so nice to know he’s is in good hands!”

“We had a scheduling change and were faced with finding someone to walk our four legged daughter :-) We were extremely apprehensive and anxious finding someone. Autumn put all our concerns to rest. Autumn is reliable, flexible, and experienced. Autumn is trained in dog CPR & First Aid, completed the Rover 101 class, and has successfully passed an enhanced background check by a third party. Autumn has given us the piece of mind knowing that our four legged daughter is in capable hands. Autumn has earned a 5 star review!!! Thanks Autumn!”

“We love Hillary! Especially Charlie! He is an energetic mid-size dog who can be an "excitable boy" as in happy. Still, he's pretty strong. Hillary walked in and within 10 minutes had him sitting calmly and dropping a piece of junk mail he grabbed. Amazing! Hillary is calm and flexible with her time if I need to deviate from our set schedule. She just loves Charlie and he loves her right back. He knows when she's here before I do, boops my hand with his nose as in hurry up (!) and tears over to the front door. Last time she left, he sat at the gate watching her go, crying. I swear, she's just the best. Hire her. She really is a dog whisperer!”

“James is very punctual , flexible , and patient. Went on a great walk with our pup .Great first experience with him, our pup raiden seemed happy when we returned!”

About: Since the age of ten, I've cherished caring for a variety of pets, from hamsters and goldfish to dogs and cats. This experience has taught me the importance of responsible pet ownership, including providing proper nutrition, regular exercise, consistent training, and attentive healthcare. I've learned to understand animal behavior and anticipate their needs, fostering strong bonds built on trust and affection. My dedication to pet care has instilled in me a deep respect for animal welfare and a commitment to their well-being. I currently work seasonal part time and have open availability during the weekdays and if notified ahead of time I can be available on weekends When caring for a dog in their owner's home, I prioritize safety and trust by following these guidelines: I maintain a secure environment by keeping doors and windows closed, ensuring the home is free of hazards, and storing medications and cleaning supplies out of reach. I follow the owner's instructions regarding feeding, exercise, and medication schedules. I respect the owner's property and belongings, and avoid entering areas I haven't been given permission to access. I communicate regularly with the owner, providing updates and photos of their dog. By adhering to these practices, I create a safe, trustworthy, and comfortable experience for both the dog and their owner.

James did a great job with my dog, Daisy! He walked her once on Thursday and twice on Saturday, and everything went really smoothly. He was always on time, friendly, and clearly comfortable with her. Daisy currently has an injured knee, so she needs limited activity, and James was very attentive to that. He listened to my instructions and took great care of her. I also appreciated the updates and photos through the Rover app after each visit—it gave me peace of mind. I felt very comfortable with James and will definitely be booking him again!
Mark is incredible, I was in a bind and was called into work last minute. I also just moved to the area and my pup Aura was still getting comfortable to the area. In the coldest negative degree weather, Mark took Aura for 3 walks and each walk was just over 3 miles!!! When I got home, Aura I could tell was so content and happy. Mark even sent the route in which he walked Aura and pictures of Aura's happiness while Mark took care of her! I also informed Mark that we are new to the Area and he assured me that he would take such good care of Aura and completely understands. It is so great to have someone like Mark, who shows interest in your story, and truly cares for the animal and there best interest. It was freezing outside and Mark cared more about the dogs experience and joy to be out and about, then he did over the cold. Thank you so much Mark, you are truly a great person to have in my dogs life!

Cagatay has been super helpful, especially showing up during extremely cold winter temperatures and still being willing to walk my American Eskimo, who is absolutely in heaven with this weather while I am freezing. Busra is also great with communication. The way they coordinate works really well. It gives a strong sense of backup and continuity, even though nothing has ever fallen through. Their teamwork makes the whole experience feel dependable and well covered.

My’Anna has been amazing! From the very start, she was quick to reply to our initial request, which gave us peace of mind that our dog would be taken care of. She’s been incredibly gentle and patient with our dog as well. It’s been great to see how Tamalito grows more comfortable with her- we even catch him waiting by the door for her visits on our cameras!
