About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, including a German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, and Pitbull mix, so I’m very comfortable with both large and high-energy breeds. I also have experiences with extended stay puppy sitting where I managed feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and creating a calm, structured environment. I understand how important consistency, patience, and attentiveness are, especially with puppies. I’m currently preparing to welcome a Golden Retriever puppy of my own, so I’m very intentional about creating safe, positive experiences for dogs. I work Monday through Friday but my partner is currently home all day, so someone will always be there to care for your dog! We are open to boarding any night. Walks I am primarily available after work or sometimes the morning before. My partner is currently available most anytime! We are both reliable and detail oriented. We are prepping to bring in our very own golden retriever puppy, so will treat your dog as if they are our own! As mentioned above I work Mon-Friday roughy 8-4. My partner is currently home throughout the day so someone will always be there to care for your dog. We are open to boarding almost any day especially weekends where we are both home. Walks and drop ins work best for me before work hours or after but my partner has open availability so between us we can accommodate to you! Feel free to ask if you have any specific availability questions! :) Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I live in a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment and am very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and safety during walks and care. I always keep dogs securely leashed on walks, avoid unsafe situations, and closely monitor their behavior and well-being. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your dog, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m reliable, respectful of your home, and committed to providing a safe and positive experience. I’m also happy to send regular photo and video updates so you always feel confident and connected while your dog is in my care.
“She is absolutely amazing! She follows instructions perfectly, communicates quickly and clearly, and always prioritizes safety. I really appreciate how she reinforces our dog’s training and handles dogs with so much care and confidence. We trust her completely and feel very lucky to have found her. Highly recommend!”

“Macey has done such an outstanding job walking our Sophie this summer. From the first meet & greet, she read Sophie like a book: anticipating when she might bark at another dog, chase a squirrel, or simply watch a rabbit eating grass. And Sophie is a Great Dane mix so she weighs 90 pounds! Macey communicates fully and regularly and has almost always been able to accommodate changes in our schedule. I will simply say that Macey is simply the best and we've already arranged future times we'll need her help. We cannot thank her enough!”

About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give every pet as if they were my own. My love for animals comes from raising my own dogs, especially my sweet girl, Roxi, whom I was fortunate to have from the time she was a puppy until she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in February 2026 at 15 years old. Caring for her through every stage of life gave me firsthand experience with senior dog care, medication schedules, mobility assistance, and the extra patience, compassion, and love that aging pets deserve. I'm comfortable maintaining feeding routines, administering oral medications, providing potty breaks, and recognizing when a dog's behavior or health seems out of the ordinary. I understand that every dog has a different personality, energy level, and comfort needs, and I adapt my care to make them feel safe, relaxed, and loved. For puppies, I'm happy to reinforce the training and routines you're already working on, including crate training, potty schedules, basic commands, and positive reinforcement. I know consistency is important, and I'll follow your instructions to help keep your puppy on track. You'll also receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, comfortable, and in caring hands. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. Pet care fits well into my schedule because I work a hybrid full-time position, which allows me flexibility throughout the week. I carefully manage my calendar and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to, ensuring every pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it's morning walks, evening visits, overnight stays, or weekend care, I plan my schedule around each pet's needs. I believe reliability and consistency are just as important as love and affection, so I make it a priority to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible. About: I am able to care for a variety of furry friends, ranging from puppies to senior dogs. I do have some personal (not professional) experience in training that follows respect, obedience, and basic commands! Keeping your pup active, in a safe environment and always loved are my top priorities ☺️ I also offer pet taxi services - if your fur baby happens to have an upcoming vet service or even grooming service, I will happily provide transportation! These options will count as a scheduled ‘Drop in’ visit if you’re interested! 😊 Im currently a med school student but am in the process of transitioning from clerkships to elective year so with some extra free time, I am able to tend to your pets needs throughout most times of the day. My schedule does vary depending on the specialty / clinic I’ll be in, but the details can be sorted out with the needs you and your pets require! I have 3 dogs myself, 2 of them currently reside with my parents up north due to me being here for medical school while my fiance and I travel with our sweet newly adopted girl. My pups love to run around and get as much play time as possible so I’m used to the high energy pups!

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, they’ve always held a special place in my heart. From dogs and cats to horses and more, I love getting to know each animal’s unique personality. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, explore, or simply enjoys calm company, I’ll care for them with the same love, patience, and attention I’d give my own fur babies! As a licensed esthetician, I create my own schedule & have the flexibility to work around your pet’s routine, making scheduling stress free for both of us. You can count on me to be dependable, respectful of your home, and to keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in loving, capable hands. Pet care has always been a natural part of my day to day routine because I’ve grown up around animals & have cared for pets for majority of my life. I work part time as an esthetician, meaning I can create my own schedule, which gives me flexibility throughout the week for walks, visits, & overnight stays! The pet’s safety, comfort, & routine would be my highest priorities. I like to take the time to learn each pet’s personality, feeding schedule, medications, favorite activities, etc so they feel secure and cared for. I have experience being around cats and dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels, and I understand that every animal has different comfort zones and boundaries. Whether your pet is shy, playful, independent, or needs extra patience, I always respect their pace. I’ll l keep your home clean, follow your instructions carefully, & provide regular photo and video updates so you always know how your furry family members are doing.🐾

I communicate regularly with owners, provide updates after each visit, and strive to create a positive, stress-free experience for both pets and their families. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Hines
Tamara has been a tremendous dog walker for our dog Dickens. She’s friendly and very good with our dogs and has been attentive, on time, as well as very responsible. She scheduled a meeting with our dogs and with us prior to booking to make sure everyone was comfortable. Would highly recommend Tamara to anyone for her wonderful skills.

James did a great job with my dog, Daisy! He walked her once on Thursday and twice on Saturday, and everything went really smoothly. He was always on time, friendly, and clearly comfortable with her. Daisy currently has an injured knee, so she needs limited activity, and James was very attentive to that. He listened to my instructions and took great care of her. I also appreciated the updates and photos through the Rover app after each visit—it gave me peace of mind. I felt very comfortable with James and will definitely be booking him again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
