The Westin Oak Park Pet Central is ideally situated in Oak Park, near dog parks, StarPups, The Dollar Paw, Trader Woofs, and Barksin Robbins. Amenities: - Fresh water & food - An array of toys - Large dog beds - Cocktail lounge with dog treats - Multiple dog parks within walking distance - Free high-speed walks included Pet Policy: Pets are required to run, play, dance, sleep deeply and have a great time. The not so fine print: - The Westin Oak Park Pet Central has a no excessive barking policy. We keep a quiet, yet fun, ambiance for all of our guests. Occasional barking is understood. If your dog is a consistent barker, we cannot accommodate them. - All dogs must be comfortable sleeping on their own. The hotel has a variety of small, medium, and large dog beds for your pet to choose from. Sleeping in the owners bed or room is strictly prohibited. I currently have the pleasure of working from home, and the pleasure of spending a lot of time with my furry friends. There is nothing better than taking a break from the workday and going on an adventure with your friends. Never in a million years would I have expected that getting a dog would transform my outlook at life and elevate my wellbeing. Spending time with dogs and playing with them has quickly become the best part of my day. I have a spacious home that allows for dogs to play, explore and rest comfortably. I have a dog that enjoys walks, and so do I. When your dog is in my home, you can rest easy knowing that they are being fed, played with, taken on walks multiple times per day, and protected.

About: Having grown up on a farm with 38 horses, minimum of 5 dogs at a time and too many cats to count, caring for and loving animals of all sizes has been a major part of my life. I’ve trained both dogs and horses and cared for all kinds of critters. When friends or family need a trusted person to care for or train their pet, I am the first person they call. My main job schedule can vary, but I am available most days of the week. Because I work in mental health and create my own schedule, I will like have random times available to drop in and take care of your pets. Outside of having to care for my own Rottweiler, Maya, I can care for your pet in between. I am able to take your dog on a walk, reinforce training, feed them, administer medication and play with them. If you have any other pets, just let me know how I can help and what they may want/need! Whatever your pet needs, I am happy to provide! Of course it is animal specific, but if I am caring for a pup, we can go on walks, play in a yard or inside, cuddle or just hangout peacefully. With any other pets, just let me know how I can show up for them and what else they prefer/need.

About: Hi, I'm Erin! Before I entered the world of office work, I was walking dogs and pet sitting professionally for local businesses in Richmond, VA and Naperville, IL. I have 6 years of experience in pet care, including some experience at a groomer and daycare. I love all animals and have worked with and owned all kinds, from exotics, birds, cats, and dogs. I've cared for little puppies still figuring things out as well as the sweet seniors that need a little help eating and getting around. I've also rescued and fostered kittens! I have a personal interest in positive reinforcement training and use it on my own dog. I have been trained to orally medicate, administer shots, and have experience with first aid/CPR. I have a Chihuahua mix who is my heart and soul, so I understand what concerns a pet parent may have. In my free time I like to bike, paint, read, watch movies, go birding, and play video games. I place security and safety of your pet and home at top priority and like to leave things just as good or better than when I came. You'll get photos and updates with each visit if requested so you can rest easy while away. Please don't hesitate to reach out of you have any questions or concerns! I'm available most of the week except for Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm where I work my full time job in medical billing. I work from home so I can be flexible if you are in the area as I have some downtime. I like to leave your house as I found it or better. If there are special instructions (such as door codes, house or pet quirks, crate or feeding instructions) please provide them prior to the visit. If your pup would like some socialization, I'd be happy to bring Mavis along for walks. If you need trash taken out, plants watered, litter boxes scooped, please let me know and I'll take care of it. If you're out of town for a while I like to rotate lights in the house to make it look lived in. Food and water will be checked every visit. I also don't like to use flexi leashes due to possible risks and will use my own 6 ft leash just in case you don't own one. If your pet has any favorite toys, activities, or other special info let me know!

About: Friends have relied on me to care for multiple dogs at once over the years and I think I might be a dog whisperer ;) I currently work full time but am available all day on Mondays, evenings and weekends for walks or boarding and truly enjoy getting outside and spending time with dogs. I’m very respectful of both the pet and the home, and I pay close attention to any changes in behavior, appetite, or energy while the owner is away.
