About: I have extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats. I am especially comfortable with high-energy dogs and anxious dogs. I trained my family’s dogs many basic skills and have practice administering medications. I love all animals and would be honored to take care of yours! I’m currently in graduate school, looking for a part-time job; and would love to help take care of your pets! My current schedule is open for any day of the week, anytime. I am happy to feed, walk, crate, or simply play with your dog or cat! I am quite flexible and have stubborn dogs of my own, so I know all the tricks of getting pups to do what you need them to do.

“Tara is great! Thank you so much Tara for helping with Zen and making sure he gets his food, water ,and potty breaks while I'm away even with his recent injury and having a cast on. Tara has Good communication and is very caring. Can't thank her enough!”

About: I have raised 2 dogs since puppies until older age. I have experience with older dogs and puppies. Love them all. I have no pets at the moment so any pet I care for will receive lots of love. Love all pets I can provide care in the morning and afternoon. I am available for many services. I can walk pets, play with them, feed them, take them out, cuddle them, and give them love. I can also stay in your house or apartment with your pet. I give pets lots of love and attention. About: Growing up, we always had pets in the house, from mice to iguanas and, of course, dogs. I have a lot of experience with pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I work fundraising by day, so I have a bleeding heart for small and big critters alike. I have a rescue mutt who's almost 3! She is high-energy and loves nothing more than playing with other pups; she is very good at matching their style of play, whether it be tug-of-war, chase, or wrestling; she is always up for fun. So trust me when I say, I know the value of an exercised, happy, and tired dog. I would love to check in on your pup throughout the day or take them on little adventures throughout town to get those restless legs moving (theirs and mine)! I work remotely so am home to keep the pups happy and safe! I always start the morning off with a walk for my own pup, it gets us both moving and gets out excess energy so we can enjoy our day. My yard is completely fenced in and the pups are free and safe to wander and explore the yard as they much as they'd like!
“Matthew provided exceptional care for my cat during our time away! His communication was consistent with daily photos and updates. We returned home to a calm, happy cat - I would absolutely book with Matthew again!”

About: I’ve owned dogs most of my life and consistently for the past 11 years — small or large, puppy or senior, I love them all. My own pets thrive on routine, so your dog will get consistent walks, feeding times, and plenty of attention while you’re away. I currently share my home with a pug and an 18-year-old cat, so I’m comfortable with pets of all ages and energy levels. Pug mom + cat whisperer offering a loving, low-key place to stay I work from home, so your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches — they’ll get plenty of company, attention, and bathroom/play breaks built right into my day. Pet care isn’t an interruption to my routine, it’s part of it. Your dog will get long walks through my beautiful neighborhood, plus supervised outdoor time tethered out front alongside my pug (my yard is unfenced, so all outdoor time is supervised). I’m happy to crate your pet if you provide one, and I’ll keep them on whatever feeding and routine schedule they’re used to at home.
About: I love animals and am passionate about giving them good, healthy lives. I have experience and am trained to work with animals, temper aggressive breeds, and administer medication if needed. I am active and have no problem with long or frequent walks. I work from home, so no animal will ever be left unattended in my care. I don't mind pets on the furniture and I have a wide open living room space for play time. Everything is per your instruction, just let me know any accommodations I can make and Ill have them arranged for your pup! Pet care is a daily part of my routine. I am with an animal every day and I love exercising with them and just generally spending time! I can easily crate a dog if needed, and have a large open living room for play time. I also dont mind pets on the furniture while boarding, but it is all up to the parents instruction
About: Hi, I’m Jeff! I’ve been walking dogs since I was 13 and caring for big dogs since I was 22. After my family’s beloved big dog passed, I realized how much I missed having pups in my life, which led me to start walking and sitting dogs for others. Every dog I walk becomes like a brother or sister to me. I have three years of professional experience and a deep knowledge of the Oak Park area, ensuring safe, fun, and enriching walks. I pay close attention to each dog’s needs in real time, and I provide clear, timely updates so you know how your pup is doing, including any potential needs I notice. Whether it’s dog walking, sitting, or check-ins, your dog will be cared for with love, respect, and clear communication. I look forward to meeting your furry family member and giving them the care they deserve! I’m currently working part time, and have a few pups already on my schedule. I am available for early day walks (7:00am - 9:30am) all week, and Sunday from noon - 2:30pm. Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I only provide care at your home, ensuring your pup stays in their familiar environment where they feel secure and relaxed. Before I leave each visit, I make sure your dog is calm, has fresh water, and is settled. I double-check that all doors are locked, leashes and supplies are put away properly, and your home is secure. You can trust that your dog is safe, cared for, and happy while you’re away.
“Natalia was great with Flynn. He can be a little scaredy cat/hisses at strangers but he really warmed up to her. She was great at communication and pics/videos and put my mind at ease. Will def use her again in the future.”

About: Hi, I’m Ed. I’ll be attending law school at the University of Michigan in the fall, and I’m looking to make some money with my love of four-legged critters while living with my girlfriend between leases. I’m a lifelong dog and cat owner with lots of experience with dogs of all sizes, but the most with large dogs. I have experience giving medication to both dogs and cats, and I’m happy to walk, house-sit, and/or host; we have a husky mix at home who is VERY friendly and loves other dogs. I’m not currently working, as my job was too long of a commute once I moved to Oak Park, so I have literally unlimited time to spend hanging out with your pets. I will take any excuse to get out of the house, so you can be sure they will be well-walked when they return home. We live in a third-floor apartment that is walking distance to two parks and a forest preserve. Our husky mix will be along for any outings your dog goes on unless otherwise requested, so they will never lack for a friend.

“Jaya was fantastic! She is took wonderful care of our 12 week old puppy during multiple day drop in visits while we were showing visiting family around Philly. She was punctual, communicative, and generous with her time and care towards our puppy. We’d have her back in a heartbeat!”

I am currently home for the summer from college so I have a very open schedule! I can be there for your pet whenever needed and am happy to work with you in terms of scheduling to meet your needs! When sitting in someone else's home I always respect the space I am in and keep it the way I found it - I am a very clean and organized person! I am also more than happy to send pics or even facetime if you miss your pets while you are away and want to be assured that they are happy and healthy <3

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Forest Park
Natalia is wonderful, she is incredibly responsive and provides feedback on each visit. She was comfortable taking my energetic Great Dane puppy on a walk, which I know he loved - with me being at work for so long. An additional thing I appreciate is she is super flexible and always willing to work with our crazy schedules. 10/10 recommend.

We absolutely love our dog walker, Emma she is incredibly dependable, trustworthy, and clearly have a genuine passion for dogs. Emma always communicates clearly and sends the best photos/visit summaries during their walks, which brings us so much peace of mind while we are at work. Our dog, Dyango, gets so excited the second she arrive. We will never forget You. She is the best

I can’t say enough good things about Chris and how well he cared for my dog and cat. I was nervous about leaving them at home for the first time instead of taking them to a sitter, but it turned out I had nothing to worry about. Chris was reliable and showed up when he said he would. The love and care he gave my crew was amazing. He also communicated really well during each visit, sending updates, pictures, and observations about how they were doing. He didn’t hesitate to reach out with questions, which meant a lot to me since my dog is a senior and has a few health concerns. I can’t recommend Chris enough — he really is that great 😊 I’ll definitely be using his services again in the future!

We had a great experience withAaron who did a few weekday drop in visits for us! He was very thorough during the intake and took the time to do a meet-and-greet to make sure it was a good fit for everyone, which we really appreciated. During the drop-in visits, Aaron took our pup to a local dog park (with our permission of course) where she got plenty of exercise and socialization—and had a great time. It gave us a lot of peace of mind knowing she was in such good hands. We’d definitely book with Aaron again!

Kirsten is so kind and takes such great care of our little puppy while we are at work during the week!! She is very responsive and gives great updates. Our little Doc loves her, and we are so happy we found a really reliable and trustworthy person to watch our pup ❤️
