Your Dog's Home Away From Home
I started pet sitting as a teenager for neighbors and family friends. Since then, I have watched all types of dogs, including senior dogs. I became a dog owner for the first time in my mid-twenties. He was an elderly beagle mix with health issues. After he passed, I grieved until I was ready to own a dog again. Then I had ten wonderful years with Shadow, a husky mix who was a stray that made his way to a rescue. He bravely fought lymphoma for 1.5 years before succumbing to the disease. Through that time, I provided medication, took him for chemotherapy, and spoiled him until he decided it was time to cross the rainbow bridge. Shadow's absence still leaves a void in my heart that is filled by caring for other people's dogs. I love all types of dogs, and have experience with small to large, young and old, as well as dogs living with various health issues. Giving dog owners the security and piece of mind knowing their furry family members are safe and sound while they are away is a responsibility that I take very seriously. My husband and I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood and our backyard is fully fenced. As a dog lover himself, anyone who books with me gets their pup double the love.

We had such a wonderful experience with Katalina! She was incredibly kind, reliable, and caring with our dogs. We felt completely comfortable knowing they were in such good hands, and it was clear how much she genuinely cared about them. Took such good care of our dog! We got lots of photo updates, which helped reassure us. She was able to accommodate all of our dog’s weird quirks and mannerisms, I could tell she ready my notes and applied those to their time together. Will absolutely use again!

Katalina went absolutely above and beyond when it came to caring for our fur babies while we were away! This was our first time using rover and naturally are always anxious when leaving our two dogs. With Katalina watching them we were able to enjoy a weekend away with no worry in mind!

My full time job is permanently remote, so I am able to be at home with your dog at all times. No matter their schedule, I can meet it because I can be here to fulfill their needs.

I know every dog has different needs, so I can follow the habits you have created with them to maintain consistency. Whether that is crate training or sleeping on the couch, I will follow your instructions. I know that dogs are family, and treat them as such.
