About: I have extensive experience caring for both dogs and cats. I am especially comfortable with high-energy dogs and anxious dogs. I trained my family’s dogs many basic skills and have practice administering medications. I love all animals and would be honored to take care of yours! I’m currently in graduate school, looking for a part-time job; and would love to help take care of your pets! My current schedule is open for any day of the week, anytime. I am happy to feed, walk, crate, or simply play with your dog or cat! I am quite flexible and have stubborn dogs of my own, so I know all the tricks of getting pups to do what you need them to do.
“Marissa is extremely reliable and kind, and our cat is always excited to see her! She always sends us great updates with adorable photos and makes it much easier to leave our cat at home when we go out of town.”

About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, including a German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, and Pitbull mix, so I’m very comfortable with both large and high-energy breeds. I also have experiences with extended stay puppy sitting where I managed feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and creating a calm, structured environment. I understand how important consistency, patience, and attentiveness are, especially with puppies. I’m currently preparing to welcome a Golden Retriever puppy of my own, so I’m very intentional about creating safe, positive experiences for dogs. I work Monday through Friday but my partner is currently home all day, so someone will always be there to care for your dog! We are open to boarding any night. Walks I am primarily available after work or sometimes the morning before. My partner is currently available most anytime! We are both reliable and detail oriented. We are prepping to bring in our very own golden retriever puppy, so will treat your dog as if they are our own! As mentioned above I work Mon-Friday roughy 8-4. My partner is currently home throughout the day so someone will always be there to care for your dog. We are open to boarding almost any day especially weekends where we are both home. Walks and drop ins work best for me before work hours or after but my partner has open availability so between us we can accommodate to you! Feel free to ask if you have any specific availability questions! :) Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I live in a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment and am very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and safety during walks and care. I always keep dogs securely leashed on walks, avoid unsafe situations, and closely monitor their behavior and well-being. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your dog, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m reliable, respectful of your home, and committed to providing a safe and positive experience. I’m also happy to send regular photo and video updates so you always feel confident and connected while your dog is in my care.

“Tara is great! Thank you so much Tara for helping with Zen and making sure he gets his food, water ,and potty breaks while I'm away even with his recent injury and having a cast on. Tara has Good communication and is very caring. Can't thank her enough!”

“I can't say enough great things about Jacqui! They went above and beyond while checking on my dog, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing my pup was in such good hands. Not only did they make sure all the basics were covered—food, water, bathroom breaks, but they also took the time to give my dog some love, playtime, and attention, which made all the difference. I got regular updates (including some adorable photos!), and I could tell my dog was happy, relaxed, and well cared for. It’s clear that Jacqui truly loves animals and treats them like their own. Reliable, kind, and completely trustworthy. I'd recommend Jacqui to anyone looking for someone to care for their furry family members. Thank you so much for everything!”

“Wendy was great with with drop-in visits for my little cat Mika! I received updates every day and tons of pictures. The apartment was kept clean and Mika seemed very happy when I got home. I feel like Wendy took care of her as well as I could hope! I recommend her and thank you wendy!”

“Lauren was absolutely amazing watching my dogs for three days! From the moment we connected, she was professional, warm, and incredibly attentive. She kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. My dogs were happy, well cared for, and clearly loved on the entire time. She followed all instructions perfectly and treated them like her own. When I returned, everything was clean, organized, and my pups were calm and content — which says everything. It’s not easy trusting someone with your fur babies, but Lauren exceeded every expectation. I would 100% book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for reliable, compassionate care. Thank you, Lauren! 🐾💛”

About: Growing up, we always had pets in the house, from mice to iguanas and, of course, dogs. I have a lot of experience with pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I work fundraising by day, so I have a bleeding heart for small and big critters alike. I have a rescue mutt who's almost 3! She is high-energy and loves nothing more than playing with other pups; she is very good at matching their style of play, whether it be tug-of-war, chase, or wrestling; she is always up for fun. So trust me when I say, I know the value of an exercised, happy, and tired dog. I would love to check in on your pup throughout the day or take them on little adventures throughout town to get those restless legs moving (theirs and mine)! I work remotely so am home to keep the pups happy and safe! I always start the morning off with a walk for my own pup, it gets us both moving and gets out excess energy so we can enjoy our day. My yard is completely fenced in and the pups are free and safe to wander and explore the yard as they much as they'd like!
“Justice took great care of my cat Opal. She was quick to learn her medication injection routine and made both Opal and I feel comfortable while I was away. She was very responsive and made sure to send me updates with every drop-in visit!”

About: Hi, I’m Abby! Neighbors, friends and family have trusted me to take care of their pets while away. I’m trustworthy, safe and reliable. I follow all directions given, and communicate well. I make sure your pets are in safe areas and I follow all directions given to me. I care for them like they are my own, and respect your home and space.
“Samantha was a great addition to me leaving my pups for a vacation and not having extra anxiety!!! The dogs seemed to love her company and were able to get their potty break during the day without holding it too long. She was patient and very detailed with her updates and pictures during each one of her visits!!! Thanks so much!!!”

“Sofia was great! She was timely, organized, and helpful administering a daily pill to our cat, even when she wasn’t cooperating sometimes. Would definitely recommend her to anyone in the area!”
“Jamie was amazing as usual! Went above and beyond to give my baby the best care when I had a family emergency and needed someone at the last minute. Highest recommendation!”

“I’m very happy to have selected Alma as my first Rover experience. She has experience with taking care of dogs and cats. This was for my cat, Roxy, who has never had someone unknown take care of her. Alma made me feel very comfortable when first mtg her as I could tell she is very comfortable around animals, along with being a sweet and genuine person. She was very thorough in her check-in notes after each visit and sent along pics of Roxy so I could see her while away. I would definitely work with Alma again for future needs and also recommend her to others in my building.”

“Once again, Julie proved to be a wonderfully reliable sitter and friend to my kitties. My cats love her and she sends the best photos! Thank you for caring for my boys so well and for dealing with the litter pal mishaps including the Amazon litter delivery!”

About: I am able to care for a variety of furry friends, ranging from puppies to senior dogs. I do have some personal (not professional) experience in training that follows respect, obedience, and basic commands! Keeping your pup active, in a safe environment and always loved are my top priorities ☺️ I also offer pet taxi services - if your fur baby happens to have an upcoming vet service or even grooming service, I will happily provide transportation! These options will count as a scheduled ‘Drop in’ visit if you’re interested! 😊 Im currently a med school student but am in the process of transitioning from clerkships to elective year so with some extra free time, I am able to tend to your pets needs throughout most times of the day. My schedule does vary depending on the specialty / clinic I’ll be in, but the details can be sorted out with the needs you and your pets require! I have 3 dogs myself, 2 of them currently reside with my parents up north due to me being here for medical school while my fiance and I travel with our sweet newly adopted girl. My pups love to run around and get as much play time as possible so I’m used to the high energy pups!

Chris was wonderful! I can’t say enough good things. My cats are very shy and he had them literally eating out of his hands on day one. He kept me informed with photos and texts and was so gentle and kind. I felt completely safe and full of trust that he had them comfortable during the heatwave that hit this week. He even did some random house tasks. He is incredible. Book him. Pay him. Tip him. It’s more than worth it.
Liliia was a superb cat-sitter! I was able to reach out, in short suspense and in desperate need, to Liliia and quickly/conveniently book her. She was open to doing whatever it takes to make me feel comfortable with her and took the time to get to know my cats while I was away. Also extremely great at communicating quickly and effectively! I would 100% book her again if her availability was open! If you get a chance, make sure you book her as well!

Jessica kept us fully informed, with photos, about our cats every day she looked after them. We felt fully confident and reassured throughout. She also went above and beyond, attending to some pet-inspired messes (a vase knocked over, for example, spilling water everywhere) with the utmost care. We could not have been more pleased and gratified by Jessica’s dedication and skill and would recommend her without qualification.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
