About: I’ve had dogs my entire life. I feel as though lots of people want dogs but don’t care to learn how to properly take care of them so, I go above and beyond to take care of the dogs I am able to take care of within my power. I would like to have a meet and greet before I take on any assignments. I am a TA for Oak Park 97 school district. I love animals; especially dogs. I have a degree in Zoology and seek a career working with animals. I usually am free after 3:30 pm Monday through Friday and have open availability most weekends. I try to respond to messages as soon as possible and will work to accommodate your pets needs as best as I can. I make sure that my client’s pet’s feel safe as possible when they’re with me. While walking, I won’t let the client’s dog interact with other people or dogs because you never know how dogs will react with strangers or other dogs. That is unless the owner gives me permission to do so. If feeding is required I will make sure that the dog gets the appropriate amount of food for their breed or per the owner’s instructions. If need be I will also play with the dog and make sure they get the appropriate amount of exercise that they need.

About: I have always had animals growing up, both cats and dogs. In more recent years I have helped dog-sit for a few different types of dogs, including a few that needed extra care and needed medication. I am comfortable around all kinds of pets and so happy to help take care of yours! I am a full time freelance photographer, so my schedule is constantly changing. I do typically work odd hours so I’m more available during the typical work week to care for your pet! I have a fenced in yard and plenty of space in my home to accommodate your pet’s needs. I also am comfortable caring for pets in their home if needed.

About: I have always had various pets since childhood. I have had lots of experience walking multiple dogs at once including large and strong breeds such as pit bulls and huskies. I have 3 cats and a beaded dragon currently and I have has snakes and all sorts of rodents in the past. I love all fur and non-fur babies. I currently work another job but have a flexible schedule to work in dog walks and drop in visits into my day as needed. When taking care of an animal I always make sure I have ample time to spend with them and handle all of their needs. I provide dog walks, I can also walk cats for those with adventure cats. I have no issues feeding any pet including snakes, lizards, and fish. I love playing with all pets and can play inside or outside the home depending on the pet.

About: As a dog owner for 14 years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, including seniors who need extra patience and attention. I genuinely love dogs and will treat your pet with the same care and affection I would my own. I currently work full-time 3 days/week in-person. I’m available to walk or sit on my off days. Just a heads up my availability can vary week to week I prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I follow each pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of attention and affection. About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, including a German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, and Pitbull mix, so I’m very comfortable with both large and high-energy breeds. I also have experiences with extended stay puppy sitting where I managed feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and creating a calm, structured environment. I understand how important consistency, patience, and attentiveness are, especially with puppies. I’m currently preparing to welcome a Golden Retriever puppy of my own, so I’m very intentional about creating safe, positive experiences for dogs. I work Monday through Friday but my partner is currently home all day, so someone will always be there to care for your dog! We are open to boarding any night. Walks I am primarily available after work or sometimes the morning before. My partner is currently available most anytime! We are both reliable and detail oriented. We are prepping to bring in our very own golden retriever puppy, so will treat your dog as if they are our own! As mentioned above I work Mon-Friday roughy 8-4. My partner is currently home throughout the day so someone will always be there to care for your dog. We are open to boarding almost any day especially weekends where we are both home. Walks and drop ins work best for me before work hours or after but my partner has open availability so between us we can accommodate to you! I live in a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment and am very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and safety during walks and care. I always keep dogs securely leashed on walks, avoid unsafe situations, and closely monitor their behavior and well-being. I understand how important trust is when someone is caring for your dog, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m reliable, respectful of your home, and committed to providing a safe and positive experience. I’m also happy to send regular photo and video updates so you always feel confident and connected while your dog is in my care.

About: I have raised 2 dogs since puppies until older age. I have experience with older dogs and puppies. Love them all. I have no pets at the moment so any pet I care for will receive lots of love. Love all pets I can provide care in the morning and afternoon. I am available for many services. I can walk pets, play with them, feed them, take them out, cuddle them, and give them love. I can also stay in your house or apartment with your pet. I give pets lots of love and attention. About: I've had dogs in my family for as long as i could remember. And now i own a dog that i care for and love on my own but have always held a special place in my heart for all animals. I know how it feels to want nothing but the best for your fur baby and i want to do my best to provide that. Currently in between jobs from driving uber and lyft, to doing side jobs. Trying to leave more free time to take care of myself and wouldn't mind caring for animals. I understand what it's like to have a fur baby and the anxiety that comes with trusting a stranger to care and provide for them. And i want to feel like i can make a difference in this line of work to provide that sense of relief so that it could come back around for myself if i ever need care for my dog as well.

About: I have a huge animal-less hole in my heart to fill!! I always grew up with a dog and a cat in our home: a German shepherd, Jasmine, then a Welsh terrier, Rex, and kitties Madeline, and Isabel. While I mostly took on the play duties with the pets, I began my pet-sitting journey in elementary school watching my neighbors' cats when they were away and, eventually dogs and cats of my high school friends. Since starting my pet-sitting journey, I have done drop-in visits, dog walking, and house-sitting. I love spending time outdoors, whether at a park, on a walk, or in your backyard! It's important for me to provide gentle love to pets while also abiding by the training they follow. About: I have been watching my friends’, family’s, and neighbors’ pets for 5+ years now. I offer a “Wow” factor of service that goes beyond the traditional water, food, bathroom routine. When I care for any pet, I take the extra care and time to play and cuddle so your fuzzy friend is never lonely. I make sure to bring my Polaroid camera to take pictures of your pet while you’re away so you never miss a moment and can display your cutie anywhere in the home - completely complimentary! I also have extensive experience with administering medicines like liquids, pills and subcutaneous fluids to differently abled pets. My own cat has needed each of those in the past so I have grown comfortable doing so and take extra care in the practice. My service is exemplary; neighbors who no longer live close to me still call me up to take care of their pets. I can’t wait to take care of yours! I am a primary grades teacher on summer break. This means I have lots of unused patience I typically spend on my little ones to use on taking care of your beloved pets and household, as well as lots of time on my hands to attend to your needs! About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life. Everything from labs, adopted mutts, terriers, vizslas, poodles, goldendoodles, big, medium, and small. I have yet to meet a breed that I can't whisper to. While my profile on Rover is new, I have been walking and house-sitting dogs on the side for years, for neighbors in the area and a small network of family friends I've kept up since middle school. Additionally, I am a serious runner and regularly put in 20-30 miles a week. If you have a Vizsla, Greyhound, Weimaraner, or any other high-energy breed that needs a run to blow off some steam, please reach out! I’d love to take them out with me on the trails. Primarily, I serve the West Suburbs, West Loop, and North Side neighborhoods; I currently reside in the Oak Park area, and attend the UIC campus on Harrison and Halsted. Please note: To ensure the absolute best and safest care for your pup, I do require a quick Meet & Greet before accepting any first-time bookings Looking forward to hearing from you. I am currently in summer school at UIC, and will be in class from 8am to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so your dog would be alone for about 4 hours on those days. Before I leave, they will get a good walk, and when I'm back they'll spend the rest of the day with me doing homework, tutoring, or getting outside for a walk or run. I always treat every dog like my own. I make sure they are secure, comfortable, get all the pets and treats they need, and are never alone longer than necessary. You will also receive daily updates along the way, so you'll always know how they're doing.

About: I love animals and am passionate about giving them good, healthy lives. I have experience and am trained to work with animals, temper aggressive breeds, and administer medication if needed. I am active and have no problem with long or frequent walks. I work from home, so no animal will ever be left unattended in my care. I don't mind pets on the furniture and I have a wide open living room space for play time. Everything is per your instruction, just let me know any accommodations I can make and Ill have them arranged for your pup! Pet care is a daily part of my routine. I am with an animal every day and I love exercising with them and just generally spending time! I can easily crate a dog if needed, and have a large open living room for play time. About: From a young age, I've had a special bond with dogs. My parents took in neighborhood samoyeds and newfoundlands that had been abandoned by their owners. I grew up with them, trained them, did my best to make sure their home was loving. Since my neighbors knew I was good with large dogs, I frequently dog sat for them. I quickly became an expert in leash technique, engaging play, making sure they were fed right, and just plain being there for them. I don't have any dogs right now (my apartment is way too small) but I know I'll meet that special fluffy guy when I get a bigger place. I'm available nearly all the time, as I'm not currently working and am only doing occasional volunteering in the Bitter Lake/Greenwood/Shoreline area. I have the availability of a tireless assistant! I believe in respecting a dog's boundries while also being very mindful of their needs. From years of experience I've learned to find the proper balance and give the dog the best experience possible.

About: Hi my name is Audrey Bruce I am 25 years old and live in Evergreen, CO. To tell you a little bit about myself, I currently live with my parents, they have owned dobermans since I was 6 and currently own 3 as of right now, so I am used to being around big dogs. I have owned a bunny in the past and currently own a cat who is 5 years old. I have watched and walked dogs for neighbors, family and friends many times in the past. They have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I am currently looking into being a Veterinary Technician and hope to save up some money so I can look further into starting school and work towards my career. I currently just moved back to Evergreen with my parents from Fort Collins and am looking to make some money in my search of finding a part-time/full-time job. So I am currently 100% free all week long. Where i like to take dogs on walks is around the neighnorhood or even on an easy hiking trail. I try to spend as much time as I can with your fur babies!

About: I've owned and taken care of a multitude of pets from a young age, mostly stray dogs and cats, that my family took in. I'm especially comfortable around and handling strong, large dogs as some past breeds I've owned include a Rottweiler, Doberman, and Newfoundland. In my lifetime, I've also owned and cared for 10 different cats, as well as other animals including fish, rats, rabbits, and snakes. I'm currently working in the animal care field as a dolphin trainer and some individual dolphins I've cared for have reached 600+ pounds. That being said, no animal is too large or intimidating for me! This also means I have a really good understanding of animal behavior and psychology which is necessary for excellent animal care. I currently work 4 days a week, usually Saturday-Tuesday. The other days, I'm usually home most of the day doing schoolwork, except when I leave to go to the gym or grocery store. On days I work, I can't take dogs out as frequently, but I do come home during my lunch break to let my own dogs run around in the fenced in yard. I do have two huskies that your dog can socialize and play with while I'm at work. They are somewhat lazy and are very content to lounge while I'm away. I also leave on relaxing music when I'm at work and a large washable potty pad, just in case. The use of potty pads is highly debated, but I personally don't feel comfortable forcing pets to hold it for long periods of time, especially because I wouldn't do that to myself. On workdays, I take my dogs on long morning and evening walks and would be happy to bring your dog along. On days I'm at home, my pets are let out into the yard very frequently (~2-3 hours) to potty and play. When not playing in the yard, they're usually lounging, cuddling with me while I do my schoolwork, or playing with some sort of enrichment toy that I've provided. The home is out in the countryside on a large plot of land with lots of greenery and shade, and a fenced-in dog play area in the back. While I work, I typically take my dogs out to play in the yard. I will often sit out with my work laptop and watch them! I provide a very safe, relaxing environment where your dog will be treated like family. This also applies when I do house-sitting, drop-ins, and dog walks. I approach care with a proactive approach, rather than reactive. This means I always keep a close eye on individual pet behavior as subtle cues can indicate how a pet is feeling at a given moment. Many pet owners miss out on these cues, especially if they aren't trained to look for them. Overall, this means I try my best to create a safe environment for and trusting bond with any animal I work with via positive reinforcement and never push past an individual's limits.
