About: I’m sure all sitters say this but I genuinely have a seat for being with animals. Sometimes I prefer them over people and treat them like they’re my own. I love all of their personalities and quirks. Anywhere I go I ask to pet someone’s dog and respect what the dog’s body language is telling me. I have a Siberian husky so I have had to learn how to read body language and potential environmental stressors very well. I invest a generous amount of time into learning about dog breeds and am always opening to learning more! Currently, I am home for the holidays with plenty of time to care for your pets while you’re away! I have access to a car and am eager to work. Extensive experience with dogs, slightly less with cats but always open to caring! I love giving them constant stimulation and walks. Pets and treats are always given. I treat all dogs like they’re my own. I have an eye on them almost at all times.
“After having to have an emergency scheduling Stephanie was absolutely fantastic, she was quick to reply, communicative, respectful and very kind. She gave us constant updates on our cat Freyja along with photos. We would happily use her services again.”

About: Hello! I love ALL animals & can't imagine life without them. I'm the go to pet sitter for friends & neighbors, & I have 2 cats & a pitty myself. My dog walking journey started here on Wag! in 2017 but I’ve worked with dogs & cats while fostering & volunteering at shelters before that. I also gained an insane amount of knowledge while I worked at a dog daycare/hotel for years where I eventually was promoted to a supervisor. I’m experienced with dogs of all ages, sizes, temperaments & quirks. Body language & reading animals easily is a humble gift of mine. I of course want you to find someone who’s the perfect fit, so even if you’re still exploring options plz reach out with any questions☺️ I have experience with both cats and dogs of all ages, breeds and temperaments. I became a supervisor at the doggy daycare so I have experience with medication administration. I am dog CPR certified & experienced with emergancy situations. But above all, I love all animals & love that caring for them gets to be my job! As far as pricing, please feel free to message me! I wish Rover aloud more specification for prices but my Rover prices all vary based on your needs. I am flexible! If you want a 20 min walk instead of a drop in visit, that’s okay with me! My prices all go based on time. So if you only need me to stop over x2 a day for a sitting, it would cost less. For walks, it also depends how many dogs. I can be a good fit if you need a last minute walk! I am currently accepting walks on breaks on my remote days and after work/weekends. If you’re looking for a reliable & trustworthy person to take care of your pets last minute, while you are out on the town, while you go meet up with family, stuck in traffic etc., feel free to message me! I always am focused on safety and security. I make sure keys are safe, that pets aren’t let out without checking all leashes and harnesses, & always make sure all doors are secure when coming in & out. If any of your pets have any allergies I need to be aware of, let me know. Regardless, I will never feed your pets anything without asking you first. Thank you so much for inquiring about my services! Even if you’re not certain you want to book with me yet, you are more then welcome to reach out with any questions. I of course want to be the perfect fit for you & your babies!

About: I have taken care of dogs for most of my life! I had a puppy as a young girl, and cared for her through her old age. I also have extensive pet sitting experience, and have watched 5 dogs simultaneously. I have a very caring personality and would love to care for your fur babies! When it comes to cats, I have about 12 years of experience. I have taken care of numerous outdoor stray cats, and have rehomed many of them, including taking two into my own home. I am self employed (jewelry artist!) so I have plenty of time to check in with your pets, walk/play etc. I am available anytime during the week (M-F) and usually on the weekends as well. I currently live in a small apartment, and would need to come by you. I am excellent at following directions, and will cater to you and your pets needs.
“Alicia is the perfect blend of professional services with a personal touch. She arrived exactly as scheduled for each visit to care for our cat, and thoroughly reported the status of every important aspect of care. In addition, we were very happy to hear of Alicia’s personal observations and interactions with our kitty. She was quickly able to win her trust, which is impressive given that she is a cautious and sensitive cat around new people. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and very highly recommend Alicia’s services!”

“I had such a great experience with my Lizbeth! She was reliable, caring, and kept me updated the entire time, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. What really stood out was her flexibility—when my flight got canceled, she kindly agreed to take care of my cat an extra day. About: I’ve had experience with dogs since I was a child, along with many other types of animals. I’ve always loved caring for pets and my goal is to some day own an animal farm. You can trust your pet is in good hands, as I have 3 of my own that mean the world to me. My day revolves around pets care, it is definitely my first priority over anything else. Not only is there time to walk, but there is definitely time to play! Animals each need time dedicated to them individually and should feel special. We have a 3 story house, with a beautiful back yard. A cleaning crew keeps our house spotless and free from any pet dangers. You can trust your pet is in good hands when staying with us.

About: What sets me apart is the level of patience, attention, and care I bring to every pet I watch. I have dogs of my own, including one I’ve had since I was in 5th grade, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. He is my priority, and I make sure he gets his daily walks, plenty of attention, and the care he deserves, specially since he is now a senior doggy. I also have a 2-year-old dog, so I’m experienced with younger, more energetic dogs as well. Having dogs at different stages of life has taught me how important consistency, exercise, patience, and companionship are for pets. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and always treat every pet like they’re my own. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel comfortable knowing their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m flexible with my schedule, I’m willing to make time out of my schedule to work with you and your needs, but afternoons are preferable for me! When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and sticking to their normal routine as much as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water at all times, get plenty of exercise and attention, and feel loved while their owners are away. For dogs, I provide daily walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of companionship. Since I have dogs of my own, including a senior dog and a younger 2-year-old dog, I understand how different each dog’s energy level and needs can be. I’m comfortable caring for both active dogs that need extra exercise and older dogs that may need a slower pace and more patience. In a client’s home, I always respect the pet’s routine and environment to help reduce stress and keep them comfortable. I also keep the home clean, follow all care instructions carefully, and provide regular updates and photos so owners know their pets are doing well. My goal is always to make pets feel cared for, relaxed, and happy while giving owners peace of mind.
About: What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I give every pet as if they were my own. My love for animals comes from raising my own dogs, especially my sweet girl, Roxi, whom I was fortunate to have from the time she was a puppy until she crossed the Rainbow Bridge in February 2026 at 15 years old. Caring for her through every stage of life gave me firsthand experience with senior dog care, medication schedules, mobility assistance, and the extra patience, compassion, and love that aging pets deserve. I'm comfortable maintaining feeding routines, administering oral medications, providing potty breaks, and recognizing when a dog's behavior or health seems out of the ordinary. I understand that every dog has a different personality, energy level, and comfort needs, and I adapt my care to make them feel safe, relaxed, and loved. For puppies, I'm happy to reinforce the training and routines you're already working on, including crate training, potty schedules, basic commands, and positive reinforcement. I know consistency is important, and I'll follow your instructions to help keep your puppy on track. You'll also receive regular updates, photos, and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, comfortable, and in caring hands. My goal is to provide a stress-free experience for both pets and their owners. Pet care fits well into my schedule because I work a hybrid full-time position, which allows me flexibility throughout the week. I carefully manage my calendar and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to, ensuring every pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it's morning walks, evening visits, overnight stays, or weekend care, I plan my schedule around each pet's needs. I believe reliability and consistency are just as important as love and affection, so I make it a priority to maintain your pet's normal routine as closely as possible. About: I've owned and cared for all kinds of animals my whole life. Professionally, I have experience working as a dog handler, kennel attendant, dog bather, and groomer. I also have extensive experience working and caring for cats, horses, and various small animals. My +3 years working at a dog daycare facility had me safely handling a pack of up to 25 dogs; providing exercise & engagement, soft corrections, and positive reinforcement. To do so, it was necessary to be observant and in tune with the dog's behavior and always on the lookout for any signs of stress or aggression. As a bather and groomer, I was focused on hygiene but a large aspect of the job relied on my knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques. I've owned cats my entire life and have worked with a TNR rescue the past few years getting pregnant females and unneutered male cats fixed and adopted. I also have pet care insurance with animal baliee coverage in case of emergencies. I always care for every animal as if they are my own and I understand how important it is for them to feel comfortable and loved. I work part-time on the night shift, so I'm usually out of the house between 9:30pm and 2am Monday through Friday. Outside of that- my schedule is flexible. I am available on most weekends and holidays. I only book one client at a time for pet sits and boarding, so your pet(s) will have my full attention. I live in a quiet suburban neighborhood with a huge, unfenced yard. I own a variety of animal care supplies and equipment.
The median cost per visit for dog sitting in Lyons is $20

Alexandra was amazing with both Panini and Lady! She was very comfortable with dogs, especially bulldogs, and clearly understood the extra attention and patience a puppy needs. I felt completely comfortable having her care for them and really appreciated how well she handled both of their different personalities and needs. I would absolutely recommend her and will definitely book with her again!

Isabella was wonderful with my dog while I was gone for the weekend! He's older and picky and needs a little extra care...she was great with drop in visits, giving him extra attention, and making sure he got enough exercise while I was away. Very kind and reliable, will definitely book with Isabella again!
Natalia is wonderful, she is incredibly responsive and provides feedback on each visit. She was comfortable taking my energetic Great Dane puppy on a walk, which I know he loved - with me being at work for so long. An additional thing I appreciate is she is super flexible and always willing to work with our crazy schedules. 10/10 recommend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
