About: I have raised and cared for dogs and cats my entire life, all sizes and ages, several with serious medical needs. As a child, my family bred and raised Irish Setters and kept any pup that was not 100% healthy for adoption. Therefore I have experience with all aspects of pet care and I have raised my kids to do the same. We are Tara (49yr), Jaden (15yr) and Alia (12yr) and have been dog sitting for friends and family for years and really enjoy hosting pups to play with and pamper on the weekends since unfortunately we are not home enough during the week to provide adequate care and attention to a full time pup. Our three kitties are very accustomed to dogs but we have plenty of room to separate them if they overstimulate your doggy. Our three level home, plus large back yard, will give your pup plenty of room to play inside and out! We typically run and play in the backyard during potty breaks and go out for several walks a day. The yard is only 90% fenced so I have several 50ft leashes around the yard to provide the illusion of freedom while maintaining safety. If your pup is high energy, they can also play with the neighbor’s dogs or we can take a trip to the dog park so they can socialize and run with other pups. I assure you they will get lots of cuddles and attention and I will send photos and vids of your pup to you throughout their stay! I am available for boarding in my home on the weekends, beginning Friday evening through Monday morning. I can also board at your home from Saturday morning through Sunday evening. I will treat your pet like a member of the family! If they get muddy in the backyard I have no problem giving them a bath and brushing them. They are welcome on the furniture and will not be left alone while they are in my care.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of pets since elementary school, especially dogs. Family friends and neighbors have had me walk, feed, play with, and even medicate their dogs. About: I am a grad student in education and just moved to Chicago from Detroit, and sadly my lab and kitties had to stay in Michigan due to my living situation. I've taken care of my dogs, and cats my whole life. I love all animals, and have spent time in the state of Michigan being a dog walker for a small local dog walking business. I have house sat for a few different cats along the way as well. From small-large dogs i'm comfortable around them all! I can be available for the summer Monday-Sunday, Come august 26th, My availability will be MWF and saturday/sunday. Mornings-Evenings I can be available at anytime. I always make sure to see if the owners have any specfic instrutions first and foremost. I will always greet the dog/cat first in calm manner, have them sniff me, say hi, get used to me. Then we get ready for a walk, on walks I'm extremely aware on my surroundings and what could happen or not happen. Water bowls are always full, food at the time the owners said. I make sure to make friends with the animals, and their safety/comfort comes first and foremost. This all will go with cats as well! I tend to be more cautious with the cats so they know i'm there to take care of them.

About: I am very active and can provide any type of exercise that your pet needs. I am also very meticulous so if your pet has a diet they need to stick to I’ll make sure it’s met. I would also be happy to follow the needs of your pups whether that be administering medication or carrying them up and down the stairs! I am so thankful to be in college and as a student I am currently fully remote which means I’ll have 100% of my attention to give to your pet! I have 2 dogs that are very friendly when meeting new pups but I introduce them slowly to make sure that the environment is relaxed. But in some cases where pups have food aggression or possessiveness over toys I make sure to keep them apart and bring them out once the food/toys are put away.

About: As a cat parent myself, I like to make sure my little one is taken care for when I step out. They all need their space but it’s important that they know someone is there to take care of them. I can be that person giving them space while also providing head scratches when they need it! About: I grew up with pets such as multiple cats and dogs big and little from the day I was born. I have also had many jobs of dog walking and dog sitting about 5 years of that. I will make sure your pets are fed, played with as well as happy and cared for. I’m very good at making sure there’s food and water as well as potty breaks and play times. If you hire me to pet sit your cute little animals I’m sure you’ll be happy they’re in good hands and won’t have to worry about them. I have no medical issues and no allergies so you wouldn’t have to worry about anything happening. I also love animals any breed and any type of species. About: If you have an anxious dog or if you’re an anxious dog parent, then I’m probably the sitter for you. I have a fur baby of my own, my 1 year old beagle Pete, and he is an extremely energetic, mischievous, stubborn, and anxious little guy. I’ve raised Pete since he was 11 weeks old, so I know all there is to know about puppies and take caring for them very seriously. As someone who follows a pretty structured routine for an anxious dog, I know how important it is to stick to schedules and make sure pets are getting enough walks, enrichment, playtime, love, and attention to help them feel safe and settled while their parent is away. I’ve personally paid people a lot of money to care for Pete because I ask for a lot (literally down to leaving instructions to keep Gilmore Girls on the TV because he likes it lol), so trust me when I say there is nothing “too much” or “too specific” that you can ask of me. I completely understand how important routines and comfort are for our pets because I’m the exact same way with my own dog. I also have experience administering medications and caring for dogs after neutering and medical issues. Pete has dealt with prostate issues, so I’m comfortable handling medication schedules and paying close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy levels, and routines. It’s also worth mentioning that Pete, being a beagle, eats EVERYTHING and keeps me on my toes at all times. Because of that, I’ve become incredibly diligent, patient, observant, and adaptable. Some dogs are calm and cuddly, while others need more play, structure, patience, or stimulation and I’m comfortable adapting to all kinds of personalities and needs. As a dog mom myself I know how reassuring it is to get updates while you’re away, so I’ll happily communicate as much as you’d like. Expect lots of updates, photos, videos, and honest communication. I’m also never afraid to ask questions if I need clarification because I’d rather do things correctly than make assumptions. Most importantly, I want people to know I’m dependable and trustworthy. If you tell me your dog needs a 30 minute walk, we’re doing a full 30 minute walk. If your dog eats from a snuffle mat, has a specific bedtime routine, or can’t be alone after dark, I’m going to follow those instructions exactly as asked. I know how hard it is to trust someone else with your baby, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Right now I’m focusing on walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays in clients’ homes rather than bringing additional pets into my own home environment. Pet care already plays a big role in my daily routine, so I’m very comfortable maintaining structured schedules, walks, feeding routines, potty breaks, enrichment, and consistent care. I’m available throughout the day and evening Thursday through Sunday, and I also offer weekday availability Monday through Wednesday during early mornings and evenings. I’m dependable, communicative, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I totally get how important trust and consistency is when someone is caring for your pet (I am that person that has given our dog sitter a 4 pager play by play of my puppy’s routine lol!). About: I worked at a doggy daycare in the past and gained extensive experience with most dog breeds and their temperament. I owned a labrador for 12 years so I have plenty of experience with high energy/high maintenance pets. I garauntee I will take care of your pet as if it were my own. I am very active and can keep up the pace with high energy dogs! I am happy to accommodate specific requests for your pets to make sure they’re comfortable and feel safe while they’re in my care. I can take last minute walks or drop-in visits with little inconvenience to my work. While I do not accept boarding, I do offer home visits.

About: I started pet sitting as a teenager for neighbors and family friends. Since then, I have watched all types of dogs, including senior dogs. I became a dog owner for the first time in my mid-twenties. He was an elderly beagle mix with health issues. After he passed, I grieved until I was ready to own a dog again. Then I had ten wonderful years with Shadow, a husky mix who was a stray that made his way to a rescue. He bravely fought lymphoma for 1.5 years before succumbing to the disease. Through that time, I provided medication, took him for chemotherapy, and spoiled him until he decided it was time to cross the rainbow bridge. Shadow's absence still leaves a void in my heart that is filled by caring for other people's dogs. I love all types of dogs, and have experience with small to large, young and old, as well as dogs living with various health issues. Giving dog owners the security and piece of mind knowing their furry family members are safe and sound while they are away is a responsibility that I take very seriously. My husband and I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood and our backyard is fully fenced. As a dog lover himself, anyone who books with me gets their pup double the love. My full time job is permanently remote, so I am able to be at home with your dog at all times. No matter their schedule, I can meet it because I can be here to fulfill their needs. I have a fenced in yard for safety, and a dog-friendly neighborhood where your dog will feel right at home. I know every dog has different needs, so I can follow the habits you have created with them to maintain consistency. Whether that is crate training or sleeping on the couch, I will follow your instructions. I know that dogs are family, and treat them as such.

Lynn happily welcomed us for a meet and greet, had our Leo for a “test” day as a Day Care, and watched him for three nights after that. We are very happy as she always replied to all the messages very quickly and sent updates. Leo did jot seem like he was worried as he stayed active after he got home.
