About: UPDATE JULY 2024, PLEASE READ: If you see that my reply time is incredibly slow, it's because my account was inactive for a while due to my dad being hospitalized. I had to help care for him for a long period of time and I was unable to reply to any messages on Rover. My dad is okay now and I am available for walks and sitting again. I was a dog groomer for almost 2 years. I'm well-trained in animal safety. I care deeply about all animals, so I'll form a bond with your animals. I'm currently unemployed, so I'll have loads of time to provide love for your animals of any kind! Just let me know what you need/what you're looking for! I understand the basics of taking care of dogs, cats and other animals just like most pet sitters. But I also provide what some sitters don't: love! I'm very sweet and I can give your animals great love and care. Plus, I'll provide some pretty amazing photos of them. If anything out of the ordinary does happen, I will do my best to help and I will contact you immediately.

About: I am very caring and compassionate for animals and pets. I have a cat of my own named Bruni and he is my best friend. Attentive and reliable pet care is assured with me as your pet sitter! I work as a teacher so my morning and afternoons are busy up until 3:30pm. However, I am available after those hours. I do have days off due to breaks, for example, winter break, where I can be reliable all day during those times. I have a cat of my own that I attend to 24/7. About: Hello I’m Marine I’m a bit new to Rover but that doesn’t reflect my experience. I've been an animal lover for as far back as I can remember, and have cared for my own dogs and cats throughout my life. I have experience dog walking at various shelters, pet sitting, fostering animals, taking my own dog to pet therapy visits at senior centers, and volunteer transporting injured animals to get care through a local response group. I'm familiar with the needs of senior dogs, and feel comfortable administering medication if needed. If you work odd hours or need evening drop in visits or walks I’m your person! About: If you have an anxious dog or if you’re an anxious dog parent, then I’m probably the sitter for you. I have a fur baby of my own, my 1 year old beagle Pete, and he is an extremely energetic, mischievous, stubborn, and anxious little guy. I’ve raised Pete since he was 11 weeks old, so I know all there is to know about puppies and take caring for them very seriously. As someone who follows a pretty structured routine for an anxious dog, I know how important it is to stick to schedules and make sure pets are getting enough walks, enrichment, playtime, love, and attention to help them feel safe and settled while their parent is away. I’ve personally paid people a lot of money to care for Pete because I ask for a lot (literally down to leaving instructions to keep Gilmore Girls on the TV because he likes it lol), so trust me when I say there is nothing “too much” or “too specific” that you can ask of me. I completely understand how important routines and comfort are for our pets because I’m the exact same way with my own dog. I also have experience administering medications and caring for dogs after neutering and medical issues. Pete has dealt with prostate issues, so I’m comfortable handling medication schedules and paying close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy levels, and routines. It’s also worth mentioning that Pete, being a beagle, eats EVERYTHING and keeps me on my toes at all times. Because of that, I’ve become incredibly diligent, patient, observant, and adaptable. Some dogs are calm and cuddly, while others need more play, structure, patience, or stimulation and I’m comfortable adapting to all kinds of personalities and needs. As a dog mom myself I know how reassuring it is to get updates while you’re away, so I’ll happily communicate as much as you’d like. Expect lots of updates, photos, videos, and honest communication. I’m also never afraid to ask questions if I need clarification because I’d rather do things correctly than make assumptions. Most importantly, I want people to know I’m dependable and trustworthy. If you tell me your dog needs a 30 minute walk, we’re doing a full 30 minute walk. If your dog eats from a snuffle mat, has a specific bedtime routine, or can’t be alone after dark, I’m going to follow those instructions exactly as asked. I know how hard it is to trust someone else with your baby, and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. Right now I’m focusing on walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays in clients’ homes rather than bringing additional pets into my own home environment. Pet care already plays a big role in my daily routine, so I’m very comfortable maintaining structured schedules, walks, feeding routines, potty breaks, enrichment, and consistent care. I’m available throughout the day and evening Thursday through Sunday, and I also offer weekday availability Monday through Wednesday during early mornings and evenings. I’m dependable, communicative, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I totally get how important trust and consistency is when someone is caring for your pet (I am that person that has given our dog sitter a 4 pager play by play of my puppy’s routine lol!). I’m very attentive to routines, safety, and following owner instructions closely, whether that involves feeding schedules, crate routines, medication, walks, enrichment, or household rules. I always prioritize keeping pets calm, comfortable, and secure in their familiar environment and will communicate regularly with updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I am so diligent with my own fur baby when it comes to structure but also play time and potty time- so when I say I’m going to ensure your pet has all those things I mean it! At this time, I focus on care in clients’ homes and individualized attention rather than bringing additional pets into my own home environment (my fur baby is definitely an only child lol).

About: I am a grad student in education and just moved to Chicago from Detroit, and sadly my lab and kitties had to stay in Michigan due to my living situation. I've taken care of my dogs, and cats my whole life. I love all animals, and have spent time in the state of Michigan being a dog walker for a small local dog walking business. I have house sat for a few different cats along the way as well. From small-large dogs i'm comfortable around them all! I can be available for the summer Monday-Sunday, Come august 26th, My availability will be MWF and saturday/sunday. Mornings-Evenings I can be available at anytime. I always make sure to see if the owners have any specfic instrutions first and foremost. I will always greet the dog/cat first in calm manner, have them sniff me, say hi, get used to me. Then we get ready for a walk, on walks I'm extremely aware on my surroundings and what could happen or not happen. Water bowls are always full, food at the time the owners said. I make sure to make friends with the animals, and their safety/comfort comes first and foremost. This all will go with cats as well! I tend to be more cautious with the cats so they know i'm there to take care of them.

About: As a cat parent myself, I like to make sure my little one is taken care for when I step out. They all need their space but it’s important that they know someone is there to take care of them. I can be that person giving them space while also providing head scratches when they need it! I currently work part time on the weekends so I would say that I have more flexibility during the week to look after your pets. I make sure all pets are supervised, comfortable, and cared for with plenty of attention, fresh water, and a calm environment. If provided, I would make sure to follow specific instructions to ensure that your pets receive the best care possible.

About: I am very active and can provide any type of exercise that your pet needs. I am also very meticulous so if your pet has a diet they need to stick to I’ll make sure it’s met. I would also be happy to follow the needs of your pups whether that be administering medication or carrying them up and down the stairs! I am so thankful to be in college and as a student I am currently fully remote which means I’ll have 100% of my attention to give to your pet! I have 2 dogs that are very friendly when meeting new pups but I introduce them slowly to make sure that the environment is relaxed. But in some cases where pups have food aggression or possessiveness over toys I make sure to keep them apart and bring them out once the food/toys are put away.

About: I’ve been taking care of small and big dogs since I was 15.I’ll make sure they are receiving engaging and energetic walks! Your dog will be in safe hands with me 🫶 I am off during the summer and have plenty of availability for your and your dog/cats needs. I am available during the day and evening, as well as weekends when you have a trip planned. At home my two shibas are well taken care off with daily meals prepared, walks, and enrichment activities! About: I grew up with pets such as multiple cats and dogs big and little from the day I was born. I have also had many jobs of dog walking and dog sitting about 5 years of that. I will make sure your pets are fed, played with as well as happy and cared for. I’m very good at making sure there’s food and water as well as potty breaks and play times. If you hire me to pet sit your cute little animals I’m sure you’ll be happy they’re in good hands and won’t have to worry about them. I have no medical issues and no allergies so you wouldn’t have to worry about anything happening. I also love animals any breed and any type of species. You wouldn’t regret having me care for your animals and I prefer you to be happy for them in good care. It’s summer time and what better way to spend it with being with animals. I’m always free and available to take care and provide my service to others and make them happy. I take care of them. We would bond and play with toys. Also I am a person who talks to animals like they’re human. We would have a fun time. I would make sure they’re fed and have water and any needs that their owner would want me to provide.

About: I worked at a doggy daycare in the past and gained extensive experience with most dog breeds and their temperament. I owned a labrador for 12 years so I have plenty of experience with high energy/high maintenance pets. I garauntee I will take care of your pet as if it were my own. I am very active and can keep up the pace with high energy dogs! I am happy to accommodate specific requests for your pets to make sure they’re comfortable and feel safe while they’re in my care.
