About: I absolutely love animals, which is why I’ve been taking care of family, friend, and neighborhood pets since I was 12 (my family has also always had cats!). I am reliable and have been trusted to consistently and properly tend to pets, whether it’s walking, feeding, overnight and in-house care, or anything in between. I have experience with elderly animals, as well as puppies and kittens. I am more than happy to provide updates about your pet during their care, and will always reach out with concerns or questions should they come up to ensure they’re being taken care of in the way that’s best for them. I truly care about animals, and enjoy spending time with them maybe just as much as they enjoy having a pal. I’m excited to get to know new pets and keep them taken care of, safe, entertained, and happy! I’m currently already doing pet care part-time, and am excited to make time for even more furry faces! I am able to take care of pets that need early morning check-ins, as well as pets that need a companion overnight. About: I've owned and cared for all kinds of animals my whole life. Professionally, I have experience working as a dog handler, kennel attendant, dog bather, and groomer. I also have extensive experience working and caring for cats, horses, and various small animals. My +3 years working at a dog daycare facility had me safely handling a pack of up to 25 dogs; providing exercise & engagement, soft corrections, and positive reinforcement. To do so, it was necessary to be observant and in tune with the dog's behavior and always on the lookout for any signs of stress or aggression. As a bather and groomer, I was focused on hygiene but a large aspect of the job relied on my knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques. I've owned cats my entire life and have worked with a TNR rescue the past few years getting pregnant females and unneutered male cats fixed and adopted. I also have pet care insurance with animal baliee coverage in case of emergencies. I always care for every animal as if they are my own and I understand how important it is for them to feel comfortable and loved. I work part-time on the night shift, so I'm usually out of the house between 9:30pm and 2am Monday through Friday. Outside of that- my schedule is flexible. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I was never allowed to have a dog growing up so I would help out my neighbors wherever i was living at the time when they were at work. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for a couple years and went through proper training on how to take care of and make both dogs and cats feel as comfortable as possible. I was finally able to convince my parents to let me have a dog and I have been the main caretaker of my golden doodle smudge for about three years now I have recently switched jobs so I have a lot more free time on my hands and am finally able to get started with Rover after wanting to job for years. This way I can take care of and love on all of the animals and I can take some of the responsibilities off of another animal parent because I know it can be hard sometimes. My dog gets two meals a day and a snack around lunch time. We go on a short morning walk and a longer evening walk after dinner. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
