I've also cared for pets for family, friends, and neighbors, and I've volunteered at animal shelters, where I spent time with dogs of different ages, temperaments, and backgrounds. I know how stressful it can be to find someone you feel comfortable leaving your pet with. I’ll make each experience as easy and reassuring as possible. My goal is to eventually work with animals full-time, and Rover gives me the opportunity to do more of what I love while helping people in my community. About: I've owned and cared for all kinds of animals my whole life. Professionally, I have experience working as a dog handler, kennel attendant, dog bather, and groomer. I also have extensive experience working and caring for cats, horses, and various small animals. My +3 years working at a dog daycare facility had me safely handling a pack of up to 25 dogs; providing exercise & engagement, soft corrections, and positive reinforcement. To do so, it was necessary to be observant and in tune with the dog's behavior and always on the lookout for any signs of stress or aggression. As a bather and groomer, I was focused on hygiene but a large aspect of the job relied on my knowledge of dog behavior and training techniques. I've owned cats my entire life and have worked with a TNR rescue the past few years getting pregnant females and unneutered male cats fixed and adopted. I also have pet care insurance with animal baliee coverage in case of emergencies. I always care for every animal as if they are my own and I understand how important it is for them to feel comfortable and loved. I work part-time on the night shift, so I'm usually out of the house between 9:30pm and 2am Monday through Friday. Outside of that- my schedule is flexible. I am available on most weekends and holidays. I only book one client at a time for pet sits and boarding, so your pet(s) will have my full attention. I live in a quiet suburban neighborhood with a huge, unfenced yard. I own a variety of animal care supplies and equipment.

About: I have taken care of dogs for most of my life! I had a puppy as a young girl, and cared for her through her old age. I also have extensive pet sitting experience, and have watched 5 dogs simultaneously. I have a very caring personality and would love to care for your fur babies! When it comes to cats, I have about 12 years of experience. I have taken care of numerous outdoor stray cats, and have rehomed many of them, including taking two into my own home. About: Hi, I’m Samantha! I’ve had all types of pets my whole life and enjoy taking care of animals big or small. I’m a Veterinary Assistant with knowledge on animal temperaments and proper care. I've worked with animals with diverse medical conditions, including my own pets. I am able to recognize signs of discomfort or distress, which will allow me to notify you if any concerns arise during my visit. During my free time I spend it with my 8 fur-babies. I had to help care for him for a long period of time and I was unable to reply to any messages on Rover. My dad is okay now and I am available for walks and sitting again. I was a dog groomer for almost 2 years. I'm well-trained in animal safety. I care deeply about all animals, so I'll form a bond with your animals. I'm currently unemployed, so I'll have loads of time to provide love for your animals of any kind! Just let me know what you need/what you're looking for! I understand the basics of taking care of dogs, cats and other animals just like most pet sitters. But I also provide what some sitters don't: love! I'm very sweet and I can give your animals great love and care. Plus, I'll provide some pretty amazing photos of them. If anything out of the ordinary does happen, I will do my best to help and I will contact you immediately.

About: I’ve taken care of my pet dog Bruno since he was a puppy, me and my family adopted him back in 2023 and now he’s turning 3 in May this year. I’m usually free throughout the week and I will always have plenty of time to care for them and for any of their needs! I will always make sure to speak with their owner first if they have any special needs and ask if there are certain instructions written down that will need to be followed regarding of their pets.
