I will always want to put your mind at ease in caring for your pets. When I am caring for your pet, I will put the same level of patience and love I would do for my own. I have experience caring for many different animals so if you have more than one pet I am perfectly comfortable assisting in any way I can. Have any chores or tasks you may need help with when I stop by? I am open for discussion on what I can do as a caretaker to fit your needs. I can communicate with you as often as you would like with videos, pictures, updates, etc. It can be a very scary experience when leaving a loved one with someone else and I want to reiterate that I want to comfort you in the process.

It's extremely important for me to know any allergies, medical conditions, and what they respond to best. Do you have specific words you use when training or ones they already know? Do we need to avoid other animals or environments that they will find stressful? Are they aggressive with food, being held, etc? Do they have a comforting toy, spot in the house, or activity? I'm extremely patient and willing to do all I can to make sure they are staying safe and happy.

As each animal is different, so is what keeps your pet happy and stimulated! Emotional support and attention? Using their sense of smell? Puzzles? Learning new tricks? Fetch? What your pet loves to play is an obvious solution, but I can also experiment and suggest new ones that they will like!

***If my schedule is closed, please feel free to still reach out. I may be able to adjust my schedule to fit your request.*** I grew up in a household of fish, gerbils, cats, and a turtle. I watched dogs in my neighborhood when I was young, and have watched pets/houses as an adult on and off for about 13 years. In college I had two guinea pigs, and eventually adopted a dog. After college I adopted a second dog and was the sole caretaker of those two dogs. I have experience with pets that have anxiety, various health conditions, and difficulty interacting with other animals and humans.

Sarah was a wonderful pet sitter! She communicated very well, was on time and my dogs were taken care of. Will definitely hire her again.
Sarah is one of the only few people I trust my pup with. She is remarkably knowledgeable about dogs, patient, kind, and professional. Our pup can be rambunctious and challenging to walk, yet I trust Sarah due to her expertise and compassion in handling dogs. I was able to rest easy knowing my pup was in great hands while we were away for the weekend!
