About: I regularly babysit my family’s and neighbors dog and additionally taking them on walks and to dog parks around the city! I am absolute dog person I treat all dogs as if they were mine. I love to get really active and engaging their dogs. Hii I'm currently working part time. I have an open schedule. Monday through Sunday. Although I prefer to do early morning and afternoon pet care! About: UPDATE JULY 2024, PLEASE READ: If you see that my reply time is incredibly slow, it's because my account was inactive for a while due to my dad being hospitalized. I had to help care for him for a long period of time and I was unable to reply to any messages on Rover. My dad is okay now and I am available for walks and sitting again. I was a dog groomer for almost 2 years. I'm well-trained in animal safety. I care deeply about all animals, so I'll form a bond with your animals. About: I've owned and taken care of a multitude of pets from a young age, mostly stray dogs and cats, that my family took in. I'm especially comfortable around and handling strong, large dogs as some past breeds I've owned include a Rottweiler, Doberman, and Newfoundland. In my lifetime, I've also owned and cared for 10 different cats, as well as other animals including fish, rats, rabbits, and snakes. I'm currently working in the animal care field as a dolphin trainer and some individual dolphins I've cared for have reached 600+ pounds. That being said, no animal is too large or intimidating for me! This also means I have a really good understanding of animal behavior and psychology which is necessary for excellent animal care. I currently work 4 days a week, usually Saturday-Tuesday. The other days, I'm usually home most of the day doing schoolwork, except when I leave to go to the gym or grocery store. On days I work, I can't take dogs out as frequently, but I do come home during my lunch break to let my own dogs run around in the fenced in yard. I do have two huskies that your dog can socialize and play with while I'm at work. They are somewhat lazy and are very content to lounge while I'm away. I also leave on relaxing music when I'm at work and a large washable potty pad, just in case. The use of potty pads is highly debated, but I personally don't feel comfortable forcing pets to hold it for long periods of time, especially because I wouldn't do that to myself. On workdays, I take my dogs on long morning and evening walks and would be happy to bring your dog along. On days I'm at home, my pets are let out into the yard very frequently (~2-3 hours) to potty and play. When not playing in the yard, they're usually lounging, cuddling with me while I do my schoolwork, or playing with some sort of enrichment toy that I've provided. The home is out in the countryside on a large plot of land with lots of greenery and shade, and a fenced-in dog play area in the back. While I work, I typically take my dogs out to play in the yard. I will often sit out with my work laptop and watch them! I provide a very safe, relaxing environment where your dog will be treated like family. This also applies when I do house-sitting, drop-ins, and dog walks. I approach care with a proactive approach, rather than reactive. This means I always keep a close eye on individual pet behavior as subtle cues can indicate how a pet is feeling at a given moment. Many pet owners miss out on these cues, especially if they aren't trained to look for them. Overall, this means I try my best to create a safe environment for and trusting bond with any animal I work with via positive reinforcement and never push past an individual's limits.
About: I have ample experience dog-sitting, dog walking, and caring for animals. I love learning about dog grooming techniques in my free time. I have experience administering oral medication to dogs, driving with dogs in the vehicle, and basic grooming techniques like bathing, blow-drying, and brushing. About: I just recently had a beautiful baby boy, and before him I’ve had my beautiful fur babies. I have two dogs that I love and treat as my sons. Making that a total of three sons (one baby boy,two dogs), my dogs are small but I also have had dogs that were much bigger than I am. My dog that was bigger than I was had to go to doggy heaven, but it explains that I have experience with different sizes and breeds. I love animals and would love to be apart of your fur baby’s life. About: Hi my name is Yesenia! A dog Mom to 1 spoiled 13 year old Frenchie. I have always loved taking care of and learning about animals small or big hooved or four legged paw friends. I have been sitting dogs since 10 when I was a child for neighbors and friends, and have owned from various breeds. Ive feed, bathed, and walked dogs and sometimes trimmed nails. I WFH full time with mutilple breaks through out the day. I go for walks early in the morning or late after work to reset and break away from my home office. I have a fenced in yard where I am able to let them loose and play under supervised care. We played fetch or can walk them to our dog park in the area. I work from home so am able to care and provide belly rubs during lunch , breaks and in between. As well as early morning/dinner walks. I have a fenced yard/ security system. Can also crate your dog if needed. However the dog will always be supervised. If not able to crate I can provide a different space in the house

James did a great job with my dog, Daisy! He walked her once on Thursday and twice on Saturday, and everything went really smoothly. He was always on time, friendly, and clearly comfortable with her. Daisy currently has an injured knee, so she needs limited activity, and James was very attentive to that. He listened to my instructions and took great care of her. I also appreciated the updates and photos through the Rover app after each visit—it gave me peace of mind. I felt very comfortable with James and will definitely be booking him again!
