“Jessica was very helpful coming to our home to walk Dickens and Scarlett last week. Each day throughout the last week she was cheerful and good with both our dogs. Her daily reports were great and put our minds at ease during a stressful time when we needed her help. We recommend Jessica for her excellent skills with dog walking.”

I understand that pets thrive on routine, and I’m committed to following each owner’s instructions to help their pets feel comfortable and cared for while they’re away. I will follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, routines, medications (if applicable), and any special needs their pet may have. “Natalia walks both our dogs and she's great with them. They're so excited to see her and she's so courteous when coming to the house or bringing them home. We will continue to have her walk our very energetic pup and older gentlemen for weekly walks and have no reservations about fully recommending her.”

About: Hello! I have 6 years of experience in professional pet care from dog walking, to pet sitting cats and birds and other little creatures, to daycare and basic grooming. In the past, I've worked with all kinds of pets, including special needs, untrained/unsocialized, and seniors in their twilight years. I'm also trained to orally medicate, administer shots, and have experience with first aid/CPR. I believe bonding is incredibly important for a sitter/walker and I like to treat pets as family. I also know that being trusted to when enter someone's home and handling their pet is a big deal. Safety and security is top priority for me when handling a pet and entering/leaving your home. I never let dogs off leash or am on my phone when handling them unless I'm taking pictures. I have my own little delightful Chihuahua mix named Mavis who means the world to me. I love being around animals and recently cared for a sick feral kitten who very sadly ended up passing due to neurological issues and so I'm back in business to help a little with the costs while doing what I love on the side. I'll take pictures and report on your pets visits so you can rest easy while away or are busy at home. I'm available most of the week except for Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm where I work my full time job in medical billing. I work from home so I can be flexible if an emergency is occurring. I like to leave your house as I found it or better. If there are special instructions (such as door codes, house or pet quirks, crate or feeding instructions) please provide them prior to the visit. If your pup would like some socialization, I'd be happy to bring Mavis along for walks. If you need trash taken out, plants watered, litter boxes scooped, please let me know and I'll take care of it. If you're out of town for a while I like to rotate lights in the house to make it look lived in. Food and water will be checked every visit. I like to take dogs collars off if they are going in their crate for safety. I also don't like to use flexi leashes due to possible risks and will use my own 6 ft leash just in case you don't own one. If your pet has any favorite toys, activities, or other special info let me know!
“Rosario was absolutely amazing! She provided so many images and videos of my fur baby! She also sent me a video of locking up. I’ve never felt so comfortable of someone taking Ollie for a walk. I will 100% be rebooking.”

About: My brother in law breeds bulldogs, so I’ve had pretty of experience caring for dogs of any age! From puppies to older dogs, I am attentive and skilled while still having passion for it :) I work part-time, which means I have plenty of flexibility to dedicate real, quality time to your pets — not just a rushed visit. I’m currently building up my pet care business while saving for an exciting move to Austin, TX, so I’m motivated, reliable, and genuinely excited to build lasting relationships with the pets (and people!) I work with. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family member — reach out anytime to chat about your pet’s specific needs! My love for animals runs deep — for the past 5 years, I’ve helped care for dogs of all ages by assisting my brother-in-law, who breeds bulldogs. From bottle-feeding tiny puppies to managing the needs of full-grown adults, I’ve learned firsthand how to read a dog’s body language, handle different temperaments, and provide the patient, attentive care every pet deserves.
About: I’ve had my oldest dog since I was 5 and my second since i was 7. I have been taking care of them since I was a kid and love meeting new pets! I am currently working part-time only a few days a week so I am available a lot during the week and especially during the weekends. I have a fence in my backyard and gates to block the spaces between so they don’t try to squeeze in between them. I also have a camera in my backyard to check before I take them outside.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs all my life. Started with my bichon frise. We got her when I was a baby, so we basically grew up together. She was fully trained, playful and love going for a ride. “Dorothy is one of those rare walkers who takes great pride and personal responsibility in her dog walking. She treated our puppies with respect, and always made sure that they got the attention and care that they needed. We look so forward to having her take care of our dogs again!”
“Has been walking my little Chihuahua for a few weeks now, he was hesitant at first but now he gets so excited when she arrives! Takes her time, lets them sniff around as I asked, and always sends cute pics of the walk. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Cristian is great! We needed some help with lunchtime walks 3x a week for a couple months after a foot surgery, and we feel so lucky to have found Cristian. He is super communicative, took great pics every visit, and wrote up thorough notes about our girl. He is super patient with our high energy girl, and would even jog with her on some days to tire her out! We highly recommend Cristian and will definitely be reaching out to him in the future when we need a dogwalker!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Cicero
Amaya was wonderful. My dog was pretty scared of some fireworks and wouldn't go for a potty walk. Amaya hung out with her the whole time, and even offered to breifly come back to try a quick potty break, which worked! She went above and beyond. And was incredibly patient. 5 stars, 100%.

Shannon took great care walking our dog, who can be stubborn. She was patient with him and gave him lots of pets and encouragement, and over time he became more cooperative. She was also flexible with timing and is easy to work with. He said to give her five stars.

James did a great job with my dog, Daisy! He walked her once on Thursday and twice on Saturday, and everything went really smoothly. He was always on time, friendly, and clearly comfortable with her. Daisy currently has an injured knee, so she needs limited activity, and James was very attentive to that. He listened to my instructions and took great care of her. I also appreciated the updates and photos through the Rover app after each visit—it gave me peace of mind. I felt very comfortable with James and will definitely be booking him again!
Jessica is marvelous! My dog EllieBean takes a while to warm up to new people. Jessica took her time over several visits to gain EB's trust. She was patient and professional, even when the weather and EB were a challenge. They have now become great friends. In addition, Jessica is a pleasure to work with and always shows up on time. I'm so grateful to have found Jessica!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
