About: Hi, I'm Erin! Before I entered the world of office work, I was walking dogs and pet sitting professionally for local businesses in Richmond, VA and Naperville, IL. I have 6 years of experience in pet care, including some experience at a groomer and daycare. I love all animals and have worked with and owned all kinds, from exotics, birds, cats, and dogs. I've cared for little puppies still figuring things out as well as the sweet seniors that need a little help eating and getting around. I've also rescued and fostered kittens! I have a personal interest in positive reinforcement training and use it on my own dog. I have been trained to orally medicate, administer shots, and have experience with first aid/CPR. I have a Chihuahua mix who is my heart and soul, so I understand what concerns a pet parent may have. In my free time I like to bike, paint, read, watch movies, go birding, and play video games. I place security and safety of your pet and home at top priority and like to leave things just as good or better than when I came. You'll get photos and updates with each visit if requested so you can rest easy while away. Please don't hesitate to reach out of you have any questions or concerns! I'm available most of the week except for Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:30pm where I work my full time job in medical billing. I work from home so I can be flexible if you are in the area as I have some downtime. I like to leave your house as I found it or better. If there are special instructions (such as door codes, house or pet quirks, crate or feeding instructions) please provide them prior to the visit. If your pup would like some socialization, I'd be happy to bring Mavis along for walks. If you need trash taken out, plants watered, litter boxes scooped, please let me know and I'll take care of it. If you're out of town for a while I like to rotate lights in the house to make it look lived in. Food and water will be checked every visit. I also don't like to use flexi leashes due to possible risks and will use my own 6 ft leash just in case you don't own one. If your pet has any favorite toys, activities, or other special info let me know!

About: Having grown up on a farm with 38 horses, minimum of 5 dogs at a time and too many cats to count, caring for and loving animals of all sizes has been a major part of my life. I’ve trained both dogs and horses and cared for all kinds of critters. When friends or family need a trusted person to care for or train their pet, I am the first person they call. My main job schedule can vary, but I am available most days of the week. Because I work in mental health and create my own schedule, I will like have random times available to drop in and take care of your pets. Outside of having to care for my own Rottweiler, Maya, I can care for your pet in between. About: I have been with Rover since 2019 My daughter Joanna also help with the small dogs and she’s home all the time I have always had my own dogs and cats. I have a separate area just for the cats. I can give medications if needed. I love to play and walk them. I’ve helped two female dogs give birth, and taken care of the 9 puppies for 8 weeks. About: Experience with large/XL breeds, bully breeds, working/high energy breeds, reactive and senior pups. Happy to provide your pup with structured and/or lax sniff walkies. Expert in freesbie, fetchies & tug- I have a working breed at home so very familiar with their requirements. Experience with senior pups, familiar with medication distributing, slow/wagon walkies, and all the extra lovings required. I currently work a full time job with plenty of flexibility which includes working from home. I am able to provide walkies/check-ins Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Weekends can be arranged upon requests ahead of time. At my house, walks and play time are typically structured and we always have a paw clean up routine when returning home. James did a great job with my dog, Daisy! He walked her once on Thursday and twice on Saturday, and everything went really smoothly. He was always on time, friendly, and clearly comfortable with her. Daisy currently has an injured knee, so she needs limited activity, and James was very attentive to that. He listened to my instructions and took great care of her. I also appreciated the updates and photos through the Rover app after each visit—it gave me peace of mind. I felt very comfortable with James and will definitely be booking him again!
