“I can’t say enough amazing things about Mike and Joanna! This was my first time ever booking on Rover, and I’ll be honest — I was nervous. They didn’t have many reviews yet, no star rating, and their overnight rate seemed almost too good to be true. I hesitated… but I am SO glad I took the chance. They are truly a diamond in the rough. From the very beginning, they were incredibly responsive. Every time I reached out to check on my dog, Whiskey, they replied immediately and kept me completely at ease. They sent the cutest Valentine’s Day photos during her stay, which absolutely made my day. You can tell they genuinely care. The sweetest surprise? They sent Whiskey home wearing a custom bandana with her name on it. That level of thoughtfulness and attention to detail says everything. If you’re on the fence because of their profile, don’t be. Sometimes the best sitters just haven’t built up their reviews yet. Mike and Joanna are hands down the BEST, and I will 100% be booking with them again.”

“Maria was the best and took care of baby boy. I felt at peace and enjoyed my vacation knowing he was in good hands. She provided photos and videos. I will definitely book again.”

“My dog was so calm after I picked him up boarding with Kyla. Energetically, I could tell that he was very well taken care of with her - no stress, no anxiety, just peace. TY KYLA!!!”

“First timer to book through Rover and it was a smashing success! Juliet seemed well cared for and entertained while her family left her for a long weekend. I would definitely book with John again. “Ruben is an awesome caretaker of my Pittie baby Capone. He is very professional and Capone had a great time with Rubens fur babies. Capone was delighted when he was dropped off and picked up. We are so grateful to have found Ruben!”

“My Bogey always acted like we were abandoning him at the shelter when we dropped him off in boarding environments, but after meeting Katherine and her crew, he was excited to explore with his new friends, and the photos that Katherine sent proved he was having a great time. They have a very lovely and dog friendly home and yard and you can tell they get to know the pets they care for. We will absolutely use them again.”

“Susan was great! She sent plenty of pics and photos daily of my fur baby. He was super happy and enjoyed himself. He stayed for 9 days and had a ton of fun. She has a couple of sweet fur babies of her own which make for nice playmates to keep company. Overall I would book her again and again whenever she is available to watch my pet if needed. Thanks so much for being awesome!”

“Diana and Scott are the absolute best! I'm usually anxious when leaving Scout behind while we're away, but they took such great care of her that I'll never be worried if she's with them. They were communicative throughout her stay and shared daily updates/photos. I've actually never seen her get comfortable with new people so quickly (she was handing out belly rubs on day 2 which is not typical for her lol). So thankful to have found them as sitters and hope to keep using them in the future!”

“It was a pleasure having tanqueray look after my baby Mya . She kept me updated with Mya and took such great care of Mya . Mya has never been away from home before so I was a bit iffy at first but tanqueray made me feel so much more calm and relaxed. Definitely will be booking with her next week”

“First time using Rover so I was a little apprehensive at first using a drop-in sitter. However, I found using Rover was a great experience and found Kimberly to be very professional at all times and be a fantastic pet sitter. She took wonderful care of my cat Kristy and I really appreciated the great photos, Rover card updates & follow-ups to any questions while I was away on vacation. I would absolutely have no hesitation about using Kimberly and Rover again. Great job!”

“Djemanesh took excellent care of my cat Jimmy during my vacation, even making sure he had everything he needed in case of a power outage during the winter storm. I came home to a very clean home and happy kitty! Highly recommend!”

About: My dog died few months ago. I am not ready to have another dog yet. However, I will love to help people with their dogs. I know how hard could be to coordinate job schedules and spend time with the dog. I do love dogs since I was a child and my family also do. It could be stressful for the dog and owner to be apart for so long. I could help make them feel happy while the owner is out. I am a professional musician and, it was very though for me leaving home for a week and leaving my dog “Lulu”with someone else. I know exactly how hard could be. I do get alone with dogs. I love to go out to the park, walk them around and make them feel good. In fact, I will share pictures and videos while the owner is away.

“NaBeela took care of my 2 senior cats in my home while I was out of the country. She was kind, an awesome communicator, and easy to work with. Thank you for taking such great care of things and giving me peace of mind while I was away!”

We specialize in caring for small dogs, especially those with separation anxiety who need extra patience, comfort, and attention. Michael has over 25 years of personal dog ownership experience, and Joanna brings 20 years of professional boarding experience. Together, we provide a calm, loving environment that helps dogs feel safe and at ease while their owners are away. We can also help with socialization and crate training as part of our daily routine. Every dog in our care is treated like family, with plenty of one-on-one attention and regular updates for pet parents. References are available upon request—we’d love to care for your pup! My current availability is extremely accommodating with plenty of time to play with and walk your pups. I'll even board on weekends and holidays with same-day reservations. I have three chi-weenies that enjoy a fenced yard, front and back. If needed, I can easily and comfortably crate your pups but they are welcome to be next to me on the sofa or wherever.
“Mary was communicative, convenient and put my mind at ease as we were in the city for the weekend and our hotel couldn’t accommodate for a late check out to house our pup, Teddy. 🤍 Our niece had a soccer game at Seat Geek stadium in 90 degree October weather and Mary solved our quandary and was as warm and inviting as the unseasonable weather. Highly recommend!”

“Diamond is an amazing sitter! She truly cares for the dogs she looks after and keeps you at ease with regular updates. My Leo came back home so tired and happy-which says everything, and he honestly didn’t even want to leave her place! Her dogs are wonderful as well and got along perfectly with mine, which made the whole experience even better. Diamond is reliable, punctual, and clearly passionate about what she does. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy sitter.”

I have plenty of room in my home with a fenced in front and backyard. I have a Full empty basement for playtime with lots of toys. And a minivan that holds lots of dogs to take to the doggie park.

About: I’ve been experienced with dogs for about 15 years, I have professional dog walking and sitting experience as well for 2 years working for a smaller dog walking company based out of Chicago. I have also cat sat long term for a family of one furry friend. I have two pups of my own. 1 is an older girl, Bella and my second is a 3 year old corgi, Andy. When boarding, Bella goes to her granpaws place because puppies tire her out. If your doggy is older, I’m more than happy to let Bella stay so they can be older together. If you have an energetic pup, our boy Andy would love to play! 🐕🦺🐾🦴 I will be working part time but I am flexible. I understand that pets are our children and need flexibility so don’t hesitate to reach out for accommodations. Plenty of toys and enrichment will be available for the pups/pets. Water will be full as expected and food given based off your pets feeding schedule. No dogs will be given human food. Treats by me will be provided upon approval. I will need to know allergies in advance.

About: I have been watching my friends’, family’s, and neighbors’ pets for 5+ years now. I offer a “Wow” factor of service that goes beyond the traditional water, food, bathroom routine. When I care for any pet, I take the extra care and time to play and cuddle so your fuzzy friend is never lonely. I make sure to bring my Polaroid camera to take pictures of your pet while you’re away so you never miss a moment and can display your cutie anywhere in the home - completely complimentary! I also have extensive experience with administering medicines like liquids, pills and subcutaneous fluids to differently abled pets. My own cat has needed each of those in the past so I have grown comfortable doing so and take extra care in the practice. My service is exemplary; neighbors who no longer live close to me still call me up to take care of their pets. I can’t wait to take care of yours! I am a primary grades teacher on summer break. This means I have lots of unused patience I typically spend on my little ones to use on taking care of your beloved pets and household, as well as lots of time on my hands to attend to your needs! I care for any pet like they are my pet. As a pet owner myself, it is so hard being away and worrying how they’re doing. When I leave them in others’ care, I would hope they care for my pet like they are their own. I take this philosophy into the homes and lives of others. With extensive practice in child care, pet care and medicine management, and house sitting, I will come to your aid with a lens of empathy and compassion.

He is super communicative, took great pics every visit, and wrote up thorough notes about our girl. “Rosario was absolutely amazing! She provided so many images and videos of my fur baby! She also sent me a video of locking up. I’ve never felt so comfortable of someone taking Ollie for a walk. I will 100% be rebooking.”

About: I've owned and taken care of a multitude of pets from a young age, mostly stray dogs and cats, that my family took in. I'm especially comfortable around and handling strong, large dogs as some past breeds I've owned include a Rottweiler, Doberman, and Newfoundland. In my lifetime, I've also owned and cared for 10 different cats, as well as other animals including fish, rats, rabbits, and snakes. I'm currently working in the animal care field as a dolphin trainer and some individual dolphins I've cared for have reached 600+ pounds. That being said, no animal is too large or intimidating for me! This also means I have a really good understanding of animal behavior and psychology which is necessary for excellent animal care. I currently work 4 days a week, usually Saturday-Tuesday. The other days, I'm usually home most of the day doing schoolwork, except when I leave to go to the gym or grocery store. On days I work, I can't take dogs out as frequently, but I do come home during my lunch break to let my own dogs run around in the fenced in yard. I do have two huskies that your dog can socialize and play with while I'm at work. They are somewhat lazy and are very content to lounge while I'm away. I also leave on relaxing music when I'm at work and a large washable potty pad, just in case. The use of potty pads is highly debated, but I personally don't feel comfortable forcing pets to hold it for long periods of time, especially because I wouldn't do that to myself. On workdays, I take my dogs on long morning and evening walks and would be happy to bring your dog along. On days I'm at home, my pets are let out into the yard very frequently (~2-3 hours) to potty and play. When not playing in the yard, they're usually lounging, cuddling with me while I do my schoolwork, or playing with some sort of enrichment toy that I've provided. The home is out in the countryside on a large plot of land with lots of greenery and shade, and a fenced-in dog play area in the back. While I work, I typically take my dogs out to play in the yard. I will often sit out with my work laptop and watch them! I provide a very safe, relaxing environment where your dog will be treated like family. This also applies when I do house-sitting, drop-ins, and dog walks. I approach care with a proactive approach, rather than reactive. This means I always keep a close eye on individual pet behavior as subtle cues can indicate how a pet is feeling at a given moment. Many pet owners miss out on these cues, especially if they aren't trained to look for them. Overall, this means I try my best to create a safe environment for and trusting bond with any animal I work with via positive reinforcement and never push past an individual's limits.

About: Hi my name is Audrey Bruce I am 25 years old and live in Evergreen, CO. To tell you a little bit about myself, I currently live with my parents, they have owned dobermans since I was 6 and currently own 3 as of right now, so I am used to being around big dogs. I have owned a bunny in the past and currently own a cat who is 5 years old. I have watched and walked dogs for neighbors, family and friends many times in the past. They have relied on me to walk, feed, and bathe their pets. I am currently looking into being a Veterinary Technician and hope to save up some money so I can look further into starting school and work towards my career. I currently just moved back to Evergreen with my parents from Fort Collins and am looking to make some money in my search of finding a part-time/full-time job. So I am currently 100% free all week long. Where i like to take dogs on walks is around the neighnorhood or even on an easy hiking trail. I try to spend as much time as I can with your fur babies!

“Kyla was so great with Poppy! She really helped me out with a last minute holiday weekend booking when my previous sitter fell through, and sent plenty of daily updates and pictures of her snuggled up relaxing and playing and having fun while I was gone. Thanks again!”

“Fortino was amazing! My dog is pretty high energy and I could tell he was having a great time. Fortino sent regular updates and he took my dog on lots of fun excursions with his own dog. He was very communicative and I could tell he paid close attention to details of my dog’s comfort, personality, etc. He even gave my dog a sweater that previously belonged to his dog but was too small, which was very sweet. Will definitely board with him again.”

“First timer to book through Rover and it was a smashing success! Juliet seemed well cared for and entertained while her family left her for a long weekend. I would definitely book with John again. “Roman was Charise’s first ever Rover dog and we were really happy to have connected with her for our 5-day trip. Charise was a great sitter—she sent detailed updates about how Roman was doing with Navi and hope he was settling in while we were away. Her home is very clean and Charise is a very warm and welcoming host. Navi is just the cutest little nugget ever, and I could tell immediately Roman would feel right at home with Charise. Our big GSD is a big baby and throws a bit of a fit every time we leave, but Charise and Navi were patient with him while he warmed up to the idea of us being away—by the time we returned, he was fully integrated into their little family. Roman is allowed on the couch and bed for cuddles, and Charise has a full basement for the dogs to run around and play, a small yard, and she takes them together on long walks. Roman came home fully pooped from a week of playing with Navi and we’ll definitely be using Charise in the future!”

“Pearl had a great time staying with Ian, we would absolutely book with him again in the future! His backyard was the perfect place for Pearl to get plenty of outdoor time. Ian was very communicative throughout Pearl's stay, I was very confident that she was staying in great hands.”

She came home healthy, happy, and completely at ease — the best outcome we could ask for. Iwona kept us in the loop throughout the stay with regular updates and photos, which we really appreciated. We'll absolutely be booking with her again!”

“Bianca absolutely loves Dayana and I do too! She keeps me informed through the night and she’s always available to watch her! She has other pups there which Bianca thrives on! She even will give her filtered water, talk about spoiled! 🤣 book with her, you won’t be disappointed and bright will your fur baby! My mind is always at ease when she’s under her care <3”

“Eniya is great! She was able to watch my pups at the last minute and she took excellent care of them. This isn’t the first time I have booked with her and it won’t be the last. I highly recommend her!”

“Ashley and her daughter are the most welcoming and amazing pup gurus we could ask for. This was the first time we left Queso with someone who wasn't immediate family and the second Queso saw them on the meet and greet we knew that he was in good hands. Couldn't recommend her more.”

“Peter was very communicative throughout Manjus visit. Manju came back a happy but tired puppy. Peter was also flexible when I needed an extra day for Manju to stay, which was really nice. It was also nice to see Manju interacting with another dog.”

“Adam was fantastic to work with! He was very responsive and timely with his messaging, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I was away for the weekend attending a wedding, and it was such a relief knowing everything was in good hands. I’ll definitely be looking to use his services again in the future!”

“I was nervous leaving Slayer with someone new but Angel made it so easy by checking in frequently and sharing photos/videos. Slayer had furry friends to play with and had a great time. Rest assured, your pup is in good hands!!”

“Ania did a great job taking care of Dalí. He is very shy and needs time adjusting to new people. She was very gentle with him, and even took him on a couple of walks leading up to our reservation to make sure he was comfortable with her. Ania was responsive, accommodated Dalí’s needs, and sent pictures/video updates. I have already booked another boarding reservation with her.”

“I am very grateful. Akon spent 7 days with Michael and returned very happy and well cared for. He kept me updated every day by sending me photos and videos. Thank you for taking such good care of him.”

“Deijah was very quick to respond to my request to watch my baby Arlo at the last minute for the weekend while my husband and I went out of town. She was very easy to get in touch with and sent me updates and pictures frequently. Arlo clearly loved his stay because he was SO tired when he got home. Thank you!”
