About: I grew up with dogs my entire life, including a German Shepherd, Golden Retriever, and Pitbull mix, so I’m very comfortable with both large and high-energy breeds. I also have experiences with extended stay puppy sitting where I managed feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and creating a calm, structured environment. I understand how important consistency, patience, and attentiveness are, especially with puppies. I’m currently preparing to welcome a Golden Retriever puppy of my own, so I’m very intentional about creating safe, positive experiences for dogs. I work Monday through Friday but my partner is currently home all day, so someone will always be there to care for your dog! We are open to boarding any night. Walks I am primarily available after work or sometimes the morning before. My partner is currently available most anytime! We are both reliable and detail oriented. We are prepping to bring in our very own golden retriever puppy, so will treat your dog as if they are our own! As mentioned above I work Mon-Friday roughy 8-4. My partner is currently home throughout the day so someone will always be there to care for your dog. We are open to boarding almost any day especially weekends where we are both home. Walks and drop ins work best for me before work hours or after but my partner has open availability so between us we can accommodate to you! I live in a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment and am very attentive to routines, feeding schedules, and safety during walks and care. About: I’ve lived with dogs my entire life. Everything from labs, adopted mutts, terriers, vizslas, poodles, goldendoodles, big, medium, and small. I have yet to meet a breed that I can't whisper to. While my profile on Rover is new, I have been walking and house-sitting dogs on the side for years, for neighbors in the area and a small network of family friends I've kept up since middle school. Additionally, I am a serious runner and regularly put in 20-30 miles a week. If you have a Vizsla, Greyhound, Weimaraner, or any other high-energy breed that needs a run to blow off some steam, please reach out! I’d love to take them out with me on the trails. Primarily, I serve the West Suburbs, West Loop, and North Side neighborhoods; I currently reside in the Oak Park area, and attend the UIC campus on Harrison and Halsted. Please note: To ensure the absolute best and safest care for your pup, I do require a quick Meet & Greet before accepting any first-time bookings Looking forward to hearing from you. I am currently in summer school at UIC, and will be in class from 8am to noon on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so your dog would be alone for about 4 hours on those days. Before I leave, they will get a good walk, and when I'm back they'll spend the rest of the day with me doing homework, tutoring, or getting outside for a walk or run. I always treat every dog like my own. I make sure they are secure, comfortable, get all the pets and treats they need, and are never alone longer than necessary. You will also receive daily updates along the way, so you'll always know how they're doing.

“Kimberly is absolutely fantastic!! She came and met the cat (and us) two days before our scheduled trip. The first thing she did when she entered our apartment was introduce herself to Laney. We gave her tons of information especially since we had never left the cat for more than a day. She blew me away from day 1. I allow my cat to pick out her food for the day by holding two packets and giving her whichever packet she rubs her face on. It sounds a little kooky but Kimberly did this everyday I checked our cameras every day after the notification that she had arrived just to check and saw her giving Laney her choices of wet food. She sent me amazingly detailed information about what they played, how she ate, and just Laney's general disposition during the visit. Kimberly went above and beyond on the last day by bringing in a package with litter and kibble! We booked Kimberly for one hour visits. I, again, typically checked our cameras about 5-10 minutes before the end of the visit. Every day, she was still in our living room playing with Laney and engaging her. I, truly, cannot not find anything wrong with how she met my VERY high expectations. She helped decrease my anxiety about Laney which, in turn, helped both my husband and me enjoy our vacation that much more!”
About: I’ve had my oldest dog since I was 5 and my second since i was 7. I have been taking care of them since I was a kid and love meeting new pets! I am currently working part-time only a few days a week so I am available a lot during the week and especially during the weekends. I have a fence in my backyard and gates to block the spaces between so they don’t try to squeeze in between them. I also have a camera in my backyard to check before I take them outside.

About: I have always had various pets since childhood. I have had lots of experience walking multiple dogs at once including large and strong breeds such as pit bulls and huskies. I have 3 cats and a beaded dragon currently and I have has snakes and all sorts of rodents in the past. I love all fur and non-fur babies.
