About: I have always lived with dogs and love pet sitting for others! I aspire to be a veterinarian in the future because of my passion for animals. I interned at a vet clinic this past summer and gained valuable knowledge about pets and how to care for them. I have a very flexible schedule since I am currently home from college for the summer. I am available most days with a notice in advance. I have a fenced in yard and one dog at home. I will be able to walk and play with your dogs, as well as feed them if needed.
About: I have raised 2 dogs since puppies until older age. I have experience with older dogs and puppies. Love them all. I have no pets at the moment so any pet I care for will receive lots of love. Love all pets I can provide care in the morning and afternoon. I am available for many services. I can walk pets, play with them, feed them, take them out, cuddle them, and give them love. I can also stay in your house or apartment with your pet. I give pets lots of love and attention. I can give pets lots of love, cuddle with them and give them treats, practice commands, or also just give them space and take them out for walks. I love dogs, I also like cats. Any pets are a joy

“Grace went above and beyond in taking care of our cat, Gia. Despite not having previous experience administering insulin shots, Grace did extensive research before our meet & greet in order to provide assurance she could perform the duties we required, which she wonderfully fulfilled. She provided thorough updates throughout our time away that assured us that Gia was well cared for and provided extra love.”

About: My brother in law breeds bulldogs, so I’ve had pretty of experience caring for dogs of any age! From puppies to older dogs, I am attentive and skilled while still having passion for it :) I work part-time, which means I have plenty of flexibility to dedicate real, quality time to your pets — not just a rushed visit. I’m currently building up my pet care business while saving for an exciting move to Austin, TX, so I’m motivated, reliable, and genuinely excited to build lasting relationships with the pets (and people!) I work with. I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family member — reach out anytime to chat about your pet’s specific needs! My love for animals runs deep — for the past 5 years, I’ve helped care for dogs of all ages by assisting my brother-in-law, who breeds bulldogs. From bottle-feeding tiny puppies to managing the needs of full-grown adults, I’ve learned firsthand how to read a dog’s body language, handle different temperaments, and provide the patient, attentive care every pet deserves.
“Great communication, friendly and professional! Has experience with pitties, which is was a determining factor in our booking. Karen was very understanding and supportive of Diesel's needs.”

I’m real relaxed and have a great big home with a big backyard and a very peaceful atmosphere which will make your puppy or dog extremely comfortable at all times. “Natalia was great with Flynn. He can be a little scaredy cat/hisses at strangers but he really warmed up to her. She was great at communication and pics/videos and put my mind at ease. Will def use her again in the future.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was little. I currently have a doodle, Daisy. I’ve taken care of friends’ pets while they go out of town and love being around dogs. I’ve fostered dogs and have experience with young puppies and older dogs. I work full time from home so I’m available for walks throughout the day and after work in the afternoon. I’m available on most weekends. I have a fenced yard and can crate your dog if needed. I have plenty of space inside for indoor play. My dog, Daisy, would love to keep your pup company.
“Luis is my number one choice for holding things down with my furry crew when I travel. He is a kind and communicative person who spends quality time with my kitties, and makes sure they have all the food and water and fresh litter they could possibly need every day. I’m grateful for him!”

“Kimberly is great! She is very responsive and keeps us in totally the loop when she watches our rambunctious young cat. He adores her and always seems in a great mood after she has watched him.”

About: Animals have always held a special place in my heart. Even as a kid, I remember carefully picking up worms from the sidewalk after it rained and moving them to safety so they wouldn’t dry out. When I was 9 years old, after months of convincing my parents I was ready, I got my first dog Sandy, a sweet German Shepherd/Collie mix. She was the gentlest soul and lived an amazing 17 years. She taught me so much about patience, loyalty, and the deep bond we can have with our pets. My second dog, Tyson, was a feisty Yorkshire Terrier mix with a big personality. He was incredibly friendly but also very protective of the people he loved. As he got older, I helped care for him through joint and knee problems and made sure he was always comfortable and loved. Sadly, he developed a tumor and passed away in 2019, but he will always hold a special place in my heart. After Tyson passed, my heart needed a little break from dogs. In December 2019, I adopted Trixie, and she completely transformed my world. While I had always loved animals—especially dogs—Trixie opened my heart to the incredible love and personality that cats bring. She showed me that every pet has their own unique way of connecting with us. Because of these experiences, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I am diligent, reliable, and trustworthy, and I will treat your pet with the same love, patience, and care that I’ve always given my own. Your pet’s comfort, happiness, and safety will always be my top priority. 🐶🐱🖤 I work from home, so I’m able to provide pet care whenever my pets need me. My mornings can be a bit tight, but if you’re nearby, I can often fit in morning visits. I usually go to bed around midnight and am happy to stay flexible to meet your pet’s needs. I plan to carry out whatever routine and wishes the pet’s owner has. I have experience with crates, gates, and can certainly follow instruction as to certain rooms or places the pets are allowed or not.
“Angelina was wonderful! She took great care of our elderly cat and had helpful suggestions for some of his ailments. We will definitely have her back again the next time we are traveling.”
“Max was very helpful when I booked him last minute. He was on time for all of his visits, took great photos of our elderly dog and was extremely gently and kind. He definitely has a special touch for animals!”

“NaBeela took care of my 2 senior cats in my home while I was out of the country. She was kind, an awesome communicator, and easy to work with. Thank you for taking such great care of things and giving me peace of mind while I was away!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Stickney
Natalia is wonderful, she is incredibly responsive and provides feedback on each visit. She was comfortable taking my energetic Great Dane puppy on a walk, which I know he loved - with me being at work for so long. An additional thing I appreciate is she is super flexible and always willing to work with our crazy schedules. 10/10 recommend.

Jessica kept us fully informed, with photos, about our cats every day she looked after them. We felt fully confident and reassured throughout. She also went above and beyond, attending to some pet-inspired messes (a vase knocked over, for example, spilling water everywhere) with the utmost care. We could not have been more pleased and gratified by Jessica’s dedication and skill and would recommend her without qualification.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
