While walking, I won’t let the client’s dog interact with other people or dogs because you never know how dogs will react with strangers or other dogs. That is unless the owner gives me permission to do so. If feeding is required I will make sure that the dog gets the appropriate amount of food for their breed or per the owner’s instructions. If need be I will also play with the dog and make sure they get the appropriate amount of exercise that they need.
