About: I have had a dog my whole life and feel very connected to them. Generally, I prefer big dogs but would love any type of dog. I have experience with dogs with seizures and dogs who need medication, as well as some experience with reactive dogs. Since I love to walk, and dogs love to be walked, I think this is a perfect fit! I'm currently not working (through the end of the summer) so I am available weekdays and evenings for walks or doggy day care, as well as on the weekends for walking or boarding. I have a large fenced yard and a friendly, patient Lab Mix to keep your dog company. I can crate your dog if needed and also have lots of indoor space for lounging or playing.

About: I am always the girl finding a dog and asking to pet them. As a kid, my sisters and I wished for a dog and that finally came true in 6th grade. Bailey was the best Christmas present and gifted us 14 beautiful years. Throughout that time, I’ve dog sat for a range of dogs (small, large, puppy and senior). Along with dogs, I am comfortable with cats. We have 2 orange cats of our own. I am available for walks, play dates and more. I am a teacher and have the summer off. I will be tutoring and will have a lot of flexibility during the week and would love to spend some time with your pets. I am very trustworthy and will take great care of your pets in your home. I love going for walks and playing with your pups or cats.

About: I've had a dog in my life ever since I was 5, and I've taken care of my friends pets for even longer! I've also walked four dogs at once, and I'm very proud of that. I have a golden retriever I see three times a week. I'm in-between school and work, I have a lot of free time to take care of animals. I like to be where the animals are, whether there's a backyard, we're on a long walk, or we're cuddling on a couch watching a movie. I do work at home, which results in a lot of close contact.

I love all manner of pets: cats and dogs alike, birds, rodents, reptiles, etc., and I feel comfortable around them all. In high school, I began dog and cat sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, where I acquainted myself with services like (dog) walks, overnight stays, administering medicines (as needed), and home security checks. Whether you have a large, high energy dog who prefers a hike, or a old cat that prefers quiet companionship and head scratches, I’ve got it covered. I love learning about animals and their various quirks and habits to ensure they feel safe, loved, and entertained, so rest assured, your pets will have a wonderful experience. During the day, I work as a substitute teacher, meaning I have a very flexible schedule throughout the week. I am available for early morning walks and feedings before 8:00 AM, am occasionally open for midday check-ins, and am always free for dinner and evening care (typically after 3:30 PM). Additionally, my weekends are completely open, allowing me to dedicate a majority of my time to your pets for longer outings or overnight stays. Because I follow a school-day routine, I’m a great fit for owners who are comfortable being home during the day and are ready for lots of attention once school’s out (especially during breaks)! When caring for pets, my top priorities are maintaining their routine and ensuring the safety of the home. I stick closely to schedules to keep stress levels low while you're away. For dogs, this means regular walks and plenty of play; for cats and smaller animals, it means keeping their environments clean and comfortable. When requested, I also perform basic home checks, such as bringing in mail or adjusting lights, so you can have peace of mind, and I always leave everything exactly as I found it.

About: I’ve been taking care of my neighbors and friends pets since I was still at Longfellow! I’m a life long animal lover and need to save up before going away to school in the fall. I have experience and am very good with both dogs and cats. I would love to help you out with your animal needs! Im currently working part time locally so I have plenty of extra time to take care of your pets. I would love to get some regular to be able to have a busier and reliable work week. I have a child free and pet free household, so if it works for my schedule, I could safely and easily have your pet spend the night at my house if needed.

About: I started out taking care of my late, great, sweet and cuddly Golden named Sadie. She was my best friend for her very long and happy life. My next baby was named Desiree, a Yellow Lab who loved to give me kisses whenever she could. She was friends with other dogs, but she was anyone walking down the street’s best friend. Then we got our current baby girl, Mila. We just had to go back down the Golden road. Every single dog we’ve had has been a rescue, and they definitely require some extra TLC because of it. Mila will make a cute squeaky, crying noise when she sees you walk in. Then she’ll lay down on the floor on her back and smile and beg you to rub her belly! We always have a basket of toys ready to go as well as treats and dental bones! I’m currently taking some time off work, so I’ll be around making dog care my number one priority! I love going on nice long walks! I have a fenced in yard, but my baby goes to the bathroom outside the yard because we have a patio. As mentioned in the experience section, I have toys and treats in addition to bones for dental health.

If you decide to book any dog sittings or boarding with us, you can be confident that your fur friend will always be in the best caring hands. On top of that, your dog will always have our attention as we both work from home. In addition, we will give you peace of mind by keeping you up to date about your dog throughout their stay so that you can remain confident that they are been treated like the kings and queens they are. In their stay, they are going to spend their free time in a full fenced yard with fresh water; ready for them to play and exercise. We will also ensure the safety of your dog by supervising them at all times while they have a great time in the yard. About: I’ve been on Rover for the past 6 years and I have also had personal experience with taking care of dogs for about ten years. I have made house visits to my neighbors to care for their dogs while they were away and my family also has a dog of that I have taken care of for the past 12 years. I have always been an animal lover and I love to help in whatever ways that I can. Being able to combine my love for animals with my love for helping people by caring for their pets seems like the perfect part-time job to me. I’ve lived in Oak Park for a few years now so I’ve gotten to know the area well and I love getting to meet all the different animals around! (P.S. I’ll also take great pictures of your pets to send while you’re away) I am available full-time during the week and weekends and I have a pup of my own who would love to make some new friends in the area! Plus, I’m just getting started on Rover, so I’m not booked up! When I come to your home, I respect your home and your procedures. I really appreciate clear instructions. (My cat likes to run through any open doors, so I am very alert to any particular instructions you give!) I also follow general safety protocols. For example, I only give your pet any food or treats you approve - if any. When I walk your dog, I keep them away from other dogs. When I board your dog, they are the only dog here. I have a fenced yard, but I never leave your dog alone in the yard.

About: Hi, I’m Sam! My passion for animals started early—I began volunteering at local animal shelters at 14, walking dogs and helping with cat enrichment. Wanting to learn more about animal behavior, I completed a six-month Canine Psychology course at AnimalSense, focusing on positive reinforcement training. From there, I began working professionally as a dog walker and gained nearly 30 years of experience in various animal care facilities. Now, I work from home, offering boarding services in a cozy home setting. I keep my groups small to provide each pet with a calm, personalized experience, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for throughout their stay. I’d love to connect and help make your pet’s time away from home as relaxing and enjoyable as possible! I mostly work from home, so I’m with the pups for the majority of the day. Occasionally, I step out for a few hours to do dog walks, but otherwise, you’ll find me hanging out at home with the crew, keeping things calm and cozy I have an open home where pets can roam and enjoy plenty of playtime. My 8-foot fenced yard with secure locking gates gives them a safe space to run around. Inside, I keep multiple water bowls around the house and have slow feeders available for my more "hungry" guests. When boarding multiple dogs, I make sure to separate everyone during meals and when they’re alone to keep things calm and comfortable. I also have a variety of crates in different sizes and lots of comfy bedding to ensure each pet feels right at home
