About: I have been watching my friends’, family’s, and neighbors’ pets for 5+ years now. I offer a “Wow” factor of service that goes beyond the traditional water, food, bathroom routine. When I care for any pet, I take the extra care and time to play and cuddle so your fuzzy friend is never lonely. I make sure to bring my Polaroid camera to take pictures of your pet while you’re away so you never miss a moment and can display your cutie anywhere in the home - completely complimentary! I also have extensive experience with administering medicines like liquids, pills and subcutaneous fluids to differently abled pets. My own cat has needed each of those in the past so I have grown comfortable doing so and take extra care in the practice. My service is exemplary; neighbors who no longer live close to me still call me up to take care of their pets. I can’t wait to take care of yours! I am a primary grades teacher on summer break. This means I have lots of unused patience I typically spend on my little ones to use on taking care of your beloved pets and household, as well as lots of time on my hands to attend to your needs! I care for any pet like they are my pet. As a pet owner myself, it is so hard being away and worrying how they’re doing. When I leave them in others’ care, I would hope they care for my pet like they are their own. I take this philosophy into the homes and lives of others. With extensive practice in child care, pet care and medicine management, and house sitting, I will come to your aid with a lens of empathy and compassion.

Glory is a very sensitive dog and we’ve been going through a lot of changes around the house/personally and it was such a relief to know someone so caring was with her while I had to be away. Sarah sends lots of photos and updates, is very down-to-earth, and left my home how a houseguest should…as they found it. She even went above and beyond to strip the bed she slept in. Sarah is a great person to have take care of your loved ones while you’re away.”

“Robin was absolutely incredible. Our dog, Payton, was recovering from ACL surgery and was in a cone, needed Physical Therapy, close leash walks, and a lot of medicine throughout the day. Robin sent us consistent pictures and updates, including her snuggling with him on his dog bed. When Payton first met Robin, he instantly bonded, which made us comfortable leaving him for a long weekend. And we knew that Payton loved Robin during the stay based on the great photos she sent. About: I've been surrounded by the pets of friends and family for my whole life, as a college student, I love petsitting over summer break! I've worked with a diverse range of animals, providing care such as baths, walks, feeding, and most importantly, cuddling! I have experience with dogs with anxiety who need medication as well. I have tons of free time over summer break, and I'd love to help out with your furry friends. Currently on summer break, so pet care would fit seamlessly into my schedule. I'm used to dedicating my summers to animal care, so driving to multiple locations for feedings/walks multiple times a day, or overnight stays, is no problem. I live in an apartment with no front or back yard but am located right across the street from a large park. It may be a little small, but there is more than enough room for animals to roam around. As for pet care outside of the home, I take these duties very seriously and am more than happy to visit multiple times a day, or as necessary. I also frequently take pictures/videos to send updates, and am happy to do so at your immediate request.

“Joyce did a fantastic job watching my two older dogs (10 and 12) for a week. She responded as soon as I contacted her on Rover, we talked-out the details and finalized the booking. My 12-year-old dog has diabetes and needs two insulin injections per day. Joyce had no problem giving him the injections which was a load off my mind. She also sent us tons of updates and photos. My neighbor even texted to say that she saw Joyce walking the dogs a bunch and that it looked like they were all having a great time. I will definitely book her next time I go out of town.”

I’m comfortable administering both pill and liquid oral medications, so you can feel confident your pet will be well cared for. I currently have two dogs and two cats of my own, and I’ve had animals my entire life, I have always been passionate about their care. I treat every animal like they’re part of my family and always aim to provide a safe, loving, and stress free experience. I work from home so I enjoy getting out of the house and going on walks later in the day. On the weekends I like to stay busy.
