Loving, experienced sitter
Seasoned pet- and house-sitter! I have had and loved pets of my own, but for the past 10 years I have cared for others' fur babies, mostly in their own homes. (Don't let my profile fool you - I'm new to Rover but am an experienced sitter on other platforms.) From 2014 to 2017 I was a full-time digital nomad, working remotely and staying in others' homes to care for their pets as if they were my own. These days I have my own home near Chicago, but I still love the chance to visit and snuggle with new furry friends.

I am background checked with Rover and have lots of experience providing pet sitting in my clients' own homes. My approach is to learn your pets' routines and follow them as closely as possible, so that you can travel without worry about how your furry loved one is adapting to big changes.

Xandi is absolutely the sitter my dog and I prefer! Always communicative and proactive, and did a great job monitoring a sensitive situation with my dog during this visit. Highly recommend!
I had a great experience with this sitter. They took thoughtful care of my senior bulldog, who needs a bit of extra help with eyedrops and those less glamorous butt wipes. They handled everything we needed and we came home to a comfortable and well loved pup. My home was just as we left it when we got back which is always a relief to know you've left your place in good hands. I'd be happy to book with Xandi again!
Always a great stay with Xandi!
This was a particularly long trip and Xandi took great care of my dog, making sure she had extra cuddles and play time while I was gone. Communication was effective and the house was just as I left it.
I’m grateful every time Xandi stays with Chevy because I know Xandi is responsible and communicative and makes sure Chevy gets the care and attention she needs.

Schedule
I work remotely, so I'm especially happy to care for pets who are used to having someone around during the day and who would be happiest in their own familiar surroundings.

- During the day on weekdays, I'm often on Zoom calls but I can usually schedule around those to meet your pet's needs. If they need to go out on a regular basis or have other active care while I'm there, that's usually fine but please let me know ahead of time so I can plan accordingly!
