Availability
My work is done remotely, and so I am at home with the animals most of the day. In meetings with clients, it's not unusual to be holding a dog or cat and introducing them so as to bring a smile to those in attendance.

Pet care experience
What might set me apart from other sitters is that I am a Certified Body Code and Emotion Code energy practioner and my clients are dogs, horses, cats and humans. Meaning, I have the ability to help your pet be more comfortable with me and in life. After being a live-in companion of sorts for my elderly mother for the last few years it’s time for the next chapter of life to take off. So I’ve set out to be a house sitter and pet caregiver in exchange for a place to live. I’m open to whatever your pets might need. And I don’t have any pets of my own, having put down my dog Cheetah in 2023 at the age of 16. Respect, timeliness, and reliability are high priorities for me when I’m caring for your pets and housesitting. Professionally I am an accomplished Human Resources professional. My current clients are small business owners around the USA. I specialize in providing HR services to mental wellness therapy practices. I’m also an accomplished artist, with experience in several media. Additionally, I am a Certified Body Code and Emotion Code energy healer. My clients are humans, dogs, cats, and horses. All of my income comes from remote work. There is no need for me to have any clients visit me where I am housesitting. My experience with animals includes: • Feeding goats, horses, chickens, fish, indoor birds, outdoor birds, cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters and gerbils. • Tenderly administering insulin shots to my large dog. • Gently giving fluid injections to my rabbit. • Successfully giving pills and drops to animals I’m watching. • Walking and otherwise caring for dogs who are tripod, or blind, or too nervous to walk on a leash well. • Taking dogs, cats, and bunnies to the veterinarian. • Providing over 50 remote Body Code and Emotion Code energy rebalancing sessions to a wild mustang with anger and behavioral issues, located with his human advocate on Monty Roberts’ Flag is Up ranch in California • Providing sessions to a handful of individual horses in Virginia, and in California. • Providing many remote Body Code and Emotion Code energy rebalancing sessions to a service dog of a military Veteran. My experience living neatly, carefully, and respectfully in other homes includes: Living with my friend and her family in their 4,000 SF home in North Carolina for over a year, with my large dog and my small dog. 2017-2018 Living with a friend of a friend in her vintage 1,000 SF home in North Carolina for four months with my large dog and my small dog. 2018 Living with my elderly mother in her 2,000 SF condominium in Illinois for five years with my small dog. 2019 to 2024. My experience working with home improvement contractors includes: Outside: Lawn care, pest control, village utilities, trash collectors, police. Inside: Outgoing furniture donations, repair of large appliances, fixing leaks, mitigating when an security alarm goes off, etc. Personal interests of mine: Serving as a civilian supporter in online Veteran peer-to-peer support groups. Adopting dogs with disabilities. I am an artist accomplished in a variety of media. Singing and dancing like nobody’s watching…when I think nobody’s watching. Thanks for reviewing my profile! Please reach out to inquire about my availability and to discuss your needs. - Diane

Reviews

Diane is delightful. Her presence was calming and made my pup fall in love right away. She was very educated, responsive, and attentive to all the fine details I provided for her stay. She left a tidy home + a very happy pup for me to come back to. We look forward to having Diane back soon.

This was the 2nd time we were lucky enough to have Diane care for our little fuzzies. Her communication, care, kindness, and attention to detail are impeccable! Our dog required had a health situation that required ongoing treatment while Diane was sitting, and she stayed on top of it until the wound healed completely. She kept us in the know about how our pup was progressing. We trusted her judgement completely. I know our girls miss Diane and look forward to the next time we leave, so she can visit :)
Amazing! She is the best!

Diane was great! She was very communicative and sent lots of pics! My dog can be kind of anxious, so it was comforting to be able to have someone stay at the house with him.
