About: Iâm fully insured to make sure your pet and your home are always safe and protected. Iâve had pets in my life for as long as I can remember, and taking care of them has always felt natural to me. Since I was a teenager (Iâm 31 now), Iâve looked after dogs and cats for friends, family, and neighbors, and Iâve loved every minute of it. Ever since I was a kid, Iâve just really cherished being around animals, even the ones who arenât super cuddly. I have a lot of patience and respect for each petâs personality and comfort level, and I do my best to make them feel safe, happy, and cared for while their people are away. I work full time during the week and try to stay busy on the weekend, but I will absolutely work my weekend schedule around you/your petâs needs. I have a big fenced backyard and plenty of space inside for house-trained pets to relax, whether thatâs on the couch, a comfy chair, or the floor. I share my home with one dog, a terrier mix named Minnie. Sheâs playful and friendly, but if your dog prefers to keep to themselves, I can easily keep them separated. Older dogs sometimes find her a bit too energetic, while younger pups usually have a great time playing with her.
âJustice took good care of my dog and four cats. She was very communicative and had to follow a medication regimen and somewhat complicated feeding system. I will definitely book her again when Iâm next out of town!â

About: As long as I can remember I have a dog, cat , or rabbit. Sometimes all three at once. My friends tell me that when they die they want to come back as my pet. I am a gardener in our neighborhood (River Forest) and stay local.I have extra time take care of all pets. It's a perfect compliment to my routine. We currently have a 2 year old golden retriever and make sure she gets the basics - food, water, walks but most important is providing plenty of love and attention.
âOur dogs love Andrea so much! She takes such good care of them when we're gone. She's the best! We will always want Andrea to watch our boys for us every time we go on a trip!â

âNataliia was so sweet with jinx! Very attentive, sent lots of pictures and made sure jinx was happy and healthy while we were gone! Would definitely book again.â

âAngelina was so wonderful with our dog Odis for her overnight stay while we went out of town on vacation. She is very responsive, communicative, and clean. Highly recommend! We canât wait to have her come back again!â

âTetiana took such wonderful care of our two cats, Dexter and Charlie, while staying at our home. Dexter is a senior cat who needs extra attention and daily supplements, and she went above and beyond by even taking him to the vet for his IV shots. Weâre so thankful for the love and care she gave them while we were away. She kept us updated the whole time with messages and photos, which really put us at ease and let us enjoy our trip knowing our little guys were in the best hands.â

âAshley left my home cleaner than before we left. She took great care of our dog, who had recently injured his leg, and adapted care plans on the fly despite it being her first time watching them. She handled a deaf and visually impaired 1.5y/o Aussie like she'd lived with him her whole life. Everyone was happy, safe, and sound upon our return.â

About: I've had cats and dogs and taken care of them since I was a child. Animals, and dogs specifically, have always been a huge part of my life. I recently was a dog dad to the two most wonderful miniature schnauzers on Earth and unfortunately, lost them both in the two years. I'm here to spend time with some wonderful dogs and give them the love and care that I can no longer give my own. Thanks for reading! I have a nice work schedule with lots of flexibility. I am off many days in the early afternoon and have afternoon and evening availability during the week and full availability on the weekends. I live in a great area that is safe with great walking spaces and super nice dog parks that are very close to my residence.
âNatalie was amazing!! This was our first time leaving Strider and she made us feel immediately at ease. Wonderful communication and lots of photos which made our trip much more enjoyable not worrying about our pup. Natalie was a super considerate, professional, and caring. You can tell she just âgetsâ animals. Strider seemed himself and very well taken care of when we returned. When our flight was delayed, Natalie also graciously added an extra walk. So glad we found her!â

âEddie was fantastic with our two huskies! He kept in regular contact with us while we were away, providing detailed updates on how our dogs were doing. We truly appreciated his communication and the way he cared for our fur babies. Eddie also respected our home, leaving it just as we had left it. It was as if no one had been there at all! Thanks so much Eddie for loving our babies.â

Maywood pet parents share their Rover experiences
We had a wonderful experience with Ariel! She was extremely responsive and communicative throughout our time away, which gave us so much peace of mind. She took excellent care of our animals and treated our home with great care as well. Everything was just as we left it, and our pets were clearly happy and well-loved. We would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful pet sitter and absolutely plan to use her services again.

Jamie was great with Kenai while we were away! We came home to a spotless apartment which was great, and she was kind enough to pick up packages for us too. He was well taken care of, especially considering the circumstances of it being negative temps in the morning. Would book for dog house sitting again :)

Ola was wonderful with my two critters. Both were perfectly chill when I came back a day early due to weather. Ola is a very calming presence which is exactly what keeps my Sunny girl and Tank the cat relaxed. Thanks so much Ola and I hope to work with you again. Happy Holidays!
Ashleyâs daily presence in our home during our recent vacation was a great comfort to us and our crew of three dogs. We our so thankful that she made our trip possible and free of a concern about our dogsâ welfare. They adore her and were so happy that she got to have an extended sleepover!
